Loch Hoil

Loch Fender is a small irregular shaped freshwater loch that lies to the north of Loch Freuchie and three miles south-south-east of Amulree and 2+1⁄2 miles from southeast from Milton in Perth and Kinross. For its size it is very deep.

Aberfeldy Watermill is located in the Scottish town of Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross. Dating to 1826, it is now a Category A listed building. Its water wheel is 15 feet (4.6 m) in diameter and is fed by the lower Urlar Burn. It is now a book shop, gallery and café.The mill was restored in the 1980s by a miller from Cupar in Fife.After its renovation during 2004, it was opened in its current format the following year by Michael Palin. In 2009, it was awarded UK Independent Bookshop of the Year and, in 2016, The New Yorker listed it in its "75 Greatest Bookstores in the World".

Glen Quaich is a glen in Perth and Kinross and is situated almost midway between Crieff and Aberfeldy. The upper reaches of the glen approach Loch Tay to the west whilst to the south-east, the lower part of the glen contains Loch Freuchie. The glen then continues eastward before opening out onto Strathbraan and the village of Amulree. The glen takes its name from its bowl-like similarity to a quaich, Scottish Gaelic cuach, meaning cup or bowl.

Wade's Bridge (originally known as Tay Bridge) is five-arch bridge crossing the River Tay at Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. A Category A listed structure built in 1733, to a design by William Adam, it carries the pedestrian and vehicle traffic of Poplar Avenue. Erected for the Board of Ordnance, to the order of Lieutenant General George Wade, its original purpose was as a military road linking the garrisons at Ruthven, Fort George, Fort Augustus and Fort William.The stone was quarried, cut and tooled at nearby Bolfracks. In 1932, two tablets with copies of Wade's original inscriptions were let into the stonework of two obelisk plinths; one in English and one in Latin. These state that the bridge was begun in April 1733 and finished by January; however, this is not strictly true, as General Wade stopped work for the winter, leaving the bridge without parapets over the side arches. These were added the following year.

Aberfeldy Footbridge is a pedestrian bridge crossing the River Tay in Aberfeldy, Perth and Kinross. Built in 1992 and is the world’s first all-plastic bridge. Today the bridge still holds the Guinness World Record for the longest span plastic bridge, with an impressive 63m.The bridge was initially used as a crossing for golfers at the Aberfeldy Golf Club to access the section of the course on the other side of the river, however when the Golf Course was downsized the bridge was no longer needed by golfers. The bridge is now used by walkers and cyclists to cross the river. In 2016 the Golf Club decided the bridge needed work and put up barriers to stop people crossing. The bridge was later reopened after locals broke the barriers down, and although parts of the bridge are still held together with cable ties, the plastic bridge remains open.

Weem (Scottish Gaelic: Baile a' Chlachain) is a village on the B846 near Aberfeldy in Perthshire, Scotland. The name Weem is derived from the Gaelic uamh, meaning 'cave'. Nearby is Castle Menzies. One of Scotland's best-preserved 16th-century castles, Castle Menzies is the seat of Clan Menzies. Looked after by a private preservation trust, the Castle and grounds are open to visitors in summer (entrance charge).The Old Parish Church of Weem, of medieval origin, contains the funerary monuments of the Menzies family from the 16th century, and the heraldic hatchments carried at their funerals.
