Queensway Terrace South is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It used to be part of Queensway Terrace but in 1967, Highway 417 was built and split apart into Queensway Terrace North and South. The borders are to the east Southwood Drive, to the south Baseline Road, Queensway (Highway 417) to the north and Greenbank Road to the west. Along with next-door Ridgeview, the neighbourhood is part of the Queensway Terrace South Ridgeview Community Association.The community was established in the early 1960s along with Ridgeview, Parkway Park, Redwood and Qualicum. On the west side of Pinecrest Road there are townhouses and a couple of high rise condominiums. It is home to Pinecrest Public School and Pinecrest Shopping Centre. Pinecrest Shopping Centre was converted into box stores in 1998. Loblaws used to be there and moved to College Square. Ikea, Chapters, and Sears are in the area. In 2011, Pinecrest Ikea became the largest in Canada. Also on Baxter Drive there is a shopping strip with restaurants and take outs, the Ottawa Citizen, and other businesses. It is also home to Kilreen Park.

Ottawa West—Nepean (French: Ottawa-Ouest—Nepean) is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1997.

Ottawa West—Nepean (French: Ottawa-Ouest–Nepean) is a provincial electoral district in eastern Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The riding is represented in the Ontario legislature by the NDP's Chandra Pasma. The riding has been fairly solidly Liberal. In the 1999 provincial election, former Member of Provincial Parliament Alex Cullen lost the nomination to Rick Chiarelli following fierce party battles. Cullen instead ran for the Ontario New Democratic Party (NDP). The seat was won by Tory Garry Guzzo. In the 2003 provincial election, former Ottawa mayor Jim Watson ousted Guzzo. Former Ottawa mayor Bob Chiarelli won the seat in a March 4, 2010, by-election, after Jim Watson left his seat to run in the 2010 Ottawa municipal election. Chiarelli lost his seat to PC Jeremy Roberts in 2018 which saw the former governing Liberals fall to third place in the legislature. In the 2022 provincial election the NDP's Chandra Pasma defeated Roberts, the only PC incumbent to lose his seat in the election. This marked the first time the NDP had ever won the seat, either provincially or federally.

Ottawa–Rideau was a short lived provincial electoral district in Ottawa, Ontario. It elected one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It was created in 1987 and was abolished in 1999 into Ottawa South, Nepean–Carleton, Ottawa West–Nepean and Ottawa Centre.The riding included all of pre-amalgamation Ottawa south of Walkley Road south of Baseline Road. It also included part of the city of Gloucester north of Leitrim Road between Limebank Road and Conroy Road. It also included part of the city of Nepean northeast of this line: Black Rapids Creek to Woodroffe Avenue to CN railway to Merivale Road. The riding elected two members of the Legislative Assembly: Yvonne O'Neill, a Liberal from 1987 to 1995 and then Garry Guzzo, a Progressive Conservative from 1995 to 1999.

Ridgeview is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered to the south by Baseline Road, to the east by Cobden Road, to the North by the Queensway, and to the west by Southwood Drive. It was developed in the 1960s along with Parkway Park. Ryan Drive and a portion of Iris Street are main transportation routes through the heart of the neighbourhood. Several of the streets are crescent shaped. It is home to Our Lady of Victory Elementary School. Behind the school is Ridgeview Park. Nearby, Pinecrest Recreation Complex has been an active community hub for decades with a hockey rink, gym, and swimming pool. Just north of the recreation complex are several baseball diamonds and tennis courts.

Briargreen is a suburban neighbourhood located in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Prior to amalgamation in 2001 it was located in the City of Nepean. The borders of the neighbourhood are Pinecrest Cemetery to the north, Centrepointe to the east, Craig Henry to the south, and Greenbank Road to the west. The community was built in the late 1960s to early 1970s same time as the nearby neighbourhoods of Leslie Park and Arlington Woods. The main roads in the community are Ashgrove Crescent and Meadowbank Drive. The neighbourhood is surrounded by banks and trees as it was originally a forest. Briargreen Public School is situated in the heart of the community. There is a city park immediately to the west of the school. Pinecrest Cemetery is nearby to the north. Also in the north part of the neighbourhood is Rockway Crescent which features a community called Forest Ridge Apartments featuring a high rise apartment building, two low rises and garden homes. As of the Canada 2011 Census the neighbourhood had a population of 2,043 and 829 private dwellings.

Redwood is a neighbourhood located in Ottawa's west end. The boundaries of the neighbourhood is Greenbank Road to the east, Baseline Road to the south, Morrison Drive (old Ottawa-Nepean border line) to the west and Highway 417 to the north. Its sister neighbourhoods are Qualicum, Leslie Park, and Queensway Terrace.

Leslie Park is a suburban neighbourhood in College Ward in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former city of Nepean. Leslie Park is bounded on the north by Baseline Road, on the east by Greenbank Road and on the south by the OCRR. The Leslie Park Community Association has the fence west of Costello St as the western boundary. According to the Canada 2016 Census, the population of the neighbourhood (including the Valley Steam area) was 3,228.The neighbourhood was built from 1963-1970s and mid 1980s. Monterey Drive has many stone brick English-style townhouses. By the 1970s more townhouses were built on Costello Avenue and a 17-unit condominium was built at 50 Greenbank. In the 1980s homes on Sandcastle Drive and Valley Stream Drive were built with two high rise condominiums. In the early 2000s more townhouses were built west of Guthrie between Monterey and Baseline Road. Leslie Park is among the neighbourhoods having the oldest trees over a century old. Leslie Park contains two parks (Leslie Park, and Brucelands Park). It also contains two schools (Leslie Park Public School and St. John the Apostle Catholic School).

Sir Robert Borden High School (SRB, Borden) is a high school located on Greenbank Road in the Nepean district of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Adjacent to the main office of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, this school was built in 1969 and officially opened on December 5, 1969. It is named after the late Conservative Prime Minister of Canada, Robert Borden. Architecturally, the building itself is divided into several different wings. The wing known affectionately as "The Square" (Named after its imposing shape overlooking Greenbank Road) houses the science, computer, English, and combined French and social sciences departments. Another wing, "The Circle", which overlooks sports fields and a local neighbourhood, houses the Technology and Drama departments, the keyboarding room and all Grade 7 to 8 classes starting in 2017-2018 School year. These two wings are centred on a foyer on the main level, which is a popular place for students to socialize. The additional courses are provided in portables northeast of most of the school near where the Middle-schoolers have recess. The portables contains the remainder of the departments that could not fit into the interior of the school due to the allocated space to the Grade 7/8s. The portables also contains the Athletics department, as the Health units of Gym/Fitness and certain courses is taught there. The Foyer is the centre of the school, being at the entrance in cross-roads between the square, gymnasium, auditorium, locker bay and library. The foyer is currently used to host activities like the "Foyer Games" which is a party game-like activity with games like Horses and Cavaliers occurring during Fridays, Thursdays when Friday isn't available and Spirit Weeks. A sound system was installed to facilitate performances by student bands or student council activities over the lunch hour during 1999. However, and as of 2019 it is currently not being used and unplugged in lieu of bringing speakers in. There is also a multi-purpose auditorium, which has partitions which can divide the hall into three smaller lecture theatres, and 2 large gymnasiums with their own partitions, which makes them ideal for hosting high school athletics. Sir Robert Borden High School is often recognized in its community for its leading music, arts and athletics programs, having won many local sports championships and arts and music competitions. The school mascot, Bolt the Bengal, represents its many sports teams and clubs. The school is also used after hours and on weekends by many community groups and sports leagues, and is often used as a polling station in municipal, provincial and federal elections. Starting with the 2017-2018 year, the school includes grades 7-12, absorbing Greenbank Middle School. The school's principal is Matt Gagnier.

Queensway Terrace North (QTN) is a neighbourhood in Bay Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Its neighbourhood association is bounded to the north by Carling Avenue, to the west by Pinecrest Road, to the south by the Queensway (Highway 417), and to the east by the Transitway. These boundaries include the adjacent neighbourhood of Britannia Heights.

Britannia United Church is a United Church of Canada congregation in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. One of Ottawa's oldest congregations, members had been meeting in homes since 1869. The Britannia Heights Methodist Church formed in 1873. It joined the United Church when it was formed in 1925. In 1925, Britannia became officially Britannia United Church. The Britannia United Church has operated out of Pinecrest Road location since 1961.
