Sir Robert Borden High School

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB, known as English-language Public District School Board No. 25 prior to 1999) refers to both the institution responsible for the operation of all English public schools in the city of Ottawa, Ontario and its governing body. Like most school boards, the OCDSB is administered by a group of elected trustees and one director selected and appointed by the Board itself. Additionally, annually, two student trustees are selected per provincial regulation. Every four years, within the context of the Ottawa municipal elections, an election is held within each of Ottawa's twelve trustee electoral zones to elect each trustee. Following election and annually thereafter, the board of trustees holds its organizational meeting, where the Board membership elects two of its members to the positions of chair and vice-chair of the Board. Chairs and membership of each of the Board's committees are also determined as part of the organizational meeting. In addition to the twelve trustees, two student trustees are elected by their peers, providing opportunities for the student body to become informed and involved in Board governance.

Briargreen is a suburban neighbourhood located in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Prior to amalgamation in 2001 it was located in the City of Nepean. The borders of the neighbourhood are Pinecrest Cemetery to the north, Centrepointe to the east, Craig Henry to the south, and Greenbank Road to the west. The community was built in the late 1960s to early 1970s same time as the nearby neighbourhoods of Leslie Park and Arlington Woods. The main roads in the community are Ashgrove Crescent and Meadowbank Drive. The neighbourhood is surrounded by banks and trees as it was originally a forest. Briargreen Public School is situated in the heart of the community. There is a city park immediately to the west of the school. Pinecrest Cemetery is nearby to the north. Also in the north part of the neighbourhood is Rockway Crescent which features a community called Forest Ridge Apartments featuring a high rise apartment building, two low rises and garden homes. As of the Canada 2011 Census the neighbourhood had a population of 2,043 and 829 private dwellings.

Leslie Park is a suburban neighbourhood in College Ward in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the former city of Nepean. Leslie Park is bounded on the north by Baseline Road, on the east by Greenbank Road and on the south by the OCRR. The Leslie Park Community Association has the fence west of Costello St as the western boundary. According to the Canada 2016 Census, the population of the neighbourhood (including the Valley Steam area) was 3,228.The neighbourhood was built from 1963-1970s and mid 1980s. Monterey Drive has many stone brick English-style townhouses. By the 1970s more townhouses were built on Costello Avenue and a 17-unit condominium was built at 50 Greenbank. In the 1980s homes on Sandcastle Drive and Valley Stream Drive were built with two high rise condominiums. In the early 2000s more townhouses were built west of Guthrie between Monterey and Baseline Road. Leslie Park is among the neighbourhoods having the oldest trees over a century old. Leslie Park contains two parks (Leslie Park, and Brucelands Park). It also contains two schools (Leslie Park Public School and St. John the Apostle Catholic School).

Trend-Arlington is a suburban neighbourhood in Knoxdale-Merivale Ward in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The neighbourhood is located with in the former City of Nepean in the west end of the city. It is located west of Greenbank Road, east of Highway 416 and Cedarview Road, north of West Hunt Club Road and south of the Leslie Park neighbourhood. Its main road is McClellan Road, which is renamed Banner Road at its north end. The community was developed by the Campeau Corporation from the 1960s to the 1980s. A swath of the Trend-Arlington neighbourhood was devastated by an EF-2 tornado on September 21, 2018.

Queensway Terrace South is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It used to be part of Queensway Terrace but in 1967, Highway 417 was built and split apart into Queensway Terrace North and South. The borders are to the east Southwood Drive, to the south Baseline Road, Queensway (Highway 417) to the north and Greenbank Road to the west. Along with next-door Ridgeview, the neighbourhood is part of the Queensway Terrace South Ridgeview Community Association.The community was established in the early 1960s along with Ridgeview, Parkway Park, Redwood and Qualicum. On the west side of Pinecrest Road there are townhouses and a couple of high rise condominiums. It is home to Pinecrest Public School and Pinecrest Shopping Centre. Pinecrest Shopping Centre was converted into box stores in 1998. Loblaws used to be there and moved to College Square. Ikea, Chapters, and Sears are in the area. In 2011, Pinecrest Ikea became the largest in Canada. Also on Baxter Drive there is a shopping strip with restaurants and take outs, the Ottawa Citizen, and other businesses. It is also home to Kilreen Park.

Craig Henry is a residential neighbourhood in Knoxdale-Merivale Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Canada. It is located in the former city of Nepean. It is a residential subdivision that was developed from 1971 onwards. The neighbourhood is bordered by Woodroffe Avenue to the east, Greenbank Road to the west, Knoxdale Road to the south and the CN railroad separating it from Centrepointe and Briargreen to the north. The land previously belonged to the Craig Henry farm, and was developed by Jack Aaron. There are many different forms of houses in Craig Henry, including town homes, semi-detached houses, single homes and apartments. It is served by OC Transpo route 82 (former 172). A large sign with the name Craig Henry is found at the Greenbank Road entrance to the neighbourhood in the median of Craig Henry Drive. According to the Canada 2011 Census the total population of the neighbourhood was 6,593. Craig Henry has a significant Jewish population. The 2011 National Household Survey indicated that 12% of the Census Tract's population was Jewish.The neighbourhood is covered by the Craig Henry Community Association. On September 21, 2018 Craig Henry along with the neighbouring area of Arlington Woods were hit by an EF-2 Tornado with winds reaching 225kmh. The Tornado caused extensive damage to many homes and businesses in both communities.

St. Paul High School is a Catholic high school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Ridgeview is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered to the south by Baseline Road, to the east by Cobden Road, to the North by the Queensway, and to the west by Southwood Drive. It was developed in the 1960s along with Parkway Park. Ryan Drive and a portion of Iris Street are main transportation routes through the heart of the neighbourhood. Several of the streets are crescent shaped. It is home to Our Lady of Victory Elementary School. Behind the school is Ridgeview Park. Nearby, Pinecrest Recreation Complex has been an active community hub for decades with a hockey rink, gym, and swimming pool. Just north of the recreation complex are several baseball diamonds and tennis courts.

Centrepointe is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of the city of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It was formerly part of the city of Nepean. It is a newer residential subdivision in the west/central part of Ottawa, developed from 1984 onwards, and is informally bounded by Baseline Road to the north, Woodroffe Avenue to the east, the CN railroad to the south, and the Briargreen subdivision and Forest Ridge Apartments to the west. The housing stock includes approximately 1,000 detached homes, with the remainder mostly townhomes (row houses) and terrace homes. According to the Canada 2016 Census, the neighbourhood had a total population of 7,245. Previously farmland, it was purchased by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, which let the land lay fallow for many years. It had been intended to be developed as a demonstration model of an "ideal community". After facing budget cuts, CMHC sold the land, with most being sold off to Ottawa's largest housing developer Minto Group, which built and sold off a wide range of homes from townhouses to large upscale houses. The neighbourhood was built to be Nepean's "downtown", with plans to build shops and offices and a civic square, to house Nepean's city hall. The neighbourhood was built as a "self-contained community" and was projected to cost $700 million.Its major attraction is Ben Franklin Place, named for the former mayor of Nepean, which houses the Centrepointe Branch of the Ottawa Public Library, the locally renowned Centrepointe Theatre, and the former Nepean City Hall (now housing satellite offices for the City of Ottawa). The neighbourhood has a significant Jewish population. The 2011 National Household Survey indicated that 13% of the neighbourhood's population was Jewish.The Centrepointe Community Association was formed on February 4, 2006 to represent and advance the interests of neighbourhood residents. A major issue confronting the association is the City of Ottawa's proposed development of the Centrepointe Town Centre concept, which could add up to two million square feet of high density residential and commercial space to the area. Residential construction in Centrepointe continues. In 2007, a former snow dump next to Centrepointe Park was converted into approximately 260 townhouses, terrace homes and low-rise apartments, which was completed in early 2011. The Centrepointe Community Association has not been very active as of late; however, it does advertise a community garage sale each spring. The easternmost portion of Centrepointe underwent major development. As of January 2012, construction had finished on three major projects: the City of Ottawa Archives at the corner of Tallwood Drive and Woodroffe Avenue, a new trades building for nearby Algonquin College, and expansion of Centrepointe Theatre at Ben Franklin Place. Baseline Station Portions of Constellation Drive were rerouted to accommodate the new buildings and as part of the City's long-term public transportation plan. As of 2022, two major apartment building projects are underway in the north section of Centrepointe: a 2-tower (22 and 24 storeys) Richcraft condominium complex on the southwest corner at 19 Centrepointe Drive, and a 15-storey rental apartment building near the northeast corner of Constellation Drive (2140 Baseline Road). Baseline station is expected to be the terminus of Stage 2 of the LRT's Confederation Line, to be completed in 2023.Many school-aged children attend Briargreen, Manordale, Knoxdale (French Immersion), Greenbank Middle School (closed in 2017), and then Sir Robert Borden High School.

Redwood is a neighbourhood located in Ottawa's west end. The boundaries of the neighbourhood is Greenbank Road to the east, Baseline Road to the south, Morrison Drive (old Ottawa-Nepean border line) to the west and Highway 417 to the north. Its sister neighbourhoods are Qualicum, Leslie Park, and Queensway Terrace.
