Ottawa West—Nepean (French: Ottawa-Ouest—Nepean) is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1997.

Ottawa West—Nepean (French: Ottawa-Ouest–Nepean) is a provincial electoral district in eastern Ontario, Canada. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. The riding is represented in the Ontario legislature by the NDP's Chandra Pasma. The riding has been fairly solidly Liberal. In the 1999 provincial election, former Member of Provincial Parliament Alex Cullen lost the nomination to Rick Chiarelli following fierce party battles. Cullen instead ran for the Ontario New Democratic Party (NDP). The seat was won by Tory Garry Guzzo. In the 2003 provincial election, former Ottawa mayor Jim Watson ousted Guzzo. Former Ottawa mayor Bob Chiarelli won the seat in a March 4, 2010, by-election, after Jim Watson left his seat to run in the 2010 Ottawa municipal election. Chiarelli lost his seat to PC Jeremy Roberts in 2018 which saw the former governing Liberals fall to third place in the legislature. In the 2022 provincial election the NDP's Chandra Pasma defeated Roberts, the only PC incumbent to lose his seat in the election. This marked the first time the NDP had ever won the seat, either provincially or federally.

Ridgeview is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered to the south by Baseline Road, to the east by Cobden Road, to the North by the Queensway, and to the west by Southwood Drive. It was developed in the 1960s along with Parkway Park. Ryan Drive and a portion of Iris Street are main transportation routes through the heart of the neighbourhood. Several of the streets are crescent shaped. It is home to Our Lady of Victory Elementary School. Behind the school is Ridgeview Park. Nearby, Pinecrest Recreation Complex has been an active community hub for decades with a hockey rink, gym, and swimming pool. Just north of the recreation complex are several baseball diamonds and tennis courts.

Queensway Terrace South is a neighbourhood in College Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It used to be part of Queensway Terrace but in 1967, Highway 417 was built and split apart into Queensway Terrace North and South. The borders are to the east Southwood Drive, to the south Baseline Road, Queensway (Highway 417) to the north and Greenbank Road to the west. Along with next-door Ridgeview, the neighbourhood is part of the Queensway Terrace South Ridgeview Community Association.The community was established in the early 1960s along with Ridgeview, Parkway Park, Redwood and Qualicum. On the west side of Pinecrest Road there are townhouses and a couple of high rise condominiums. It is home to Pinecrest Public School and Pinecrest Shopping Centre. Pinecrest Shopping Centre was converted into box stores in 1998. Loblaws used to be there and moved to College Square. Ikea, Chapters, and Sears are in the area. In 2011, Pinecrest Ikea became the largest in Canada. Also on Baxter Drive there is a shopping strip with restaurants and take outs, the Ottawa Citizen, and other businesses. It is also home to Kilreen Park.

Queensway Terrace North (QTN) is a neighbourhood in Bay Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Its neighbourhood association is bounded to the north by Carling Avenue, to the west by Pinecrest Road, to the south by the Queensway (Highway 417), and to the east by the Transitway. These boundaries include the adjacent neighbourhood of Britannia Heights.

Britannia United Church is a United Church of Canada congregation in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. One of Ottawa's oldest congregations, members had been meeting in homes since 1869. The Britannia Heights Methodist Church formed in 1873. It joined the United Church when it was formed in 1925. In 1925, Britannia became officially Britannia United Church. The Britannia United Church has operated out of Pinecrest Road location since 1961.

Parkway Park is a neighbourhood in College Ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded to the north by the Queensway, to the west by Cobden Road, to the south by Baseline Road and to the east by Pinecrest Creek and the OC Transpo Transitway. Developed during the late 1950s and early 1960s along with the nearby neighbourhoods of Kenson Park, Queensway Terrace North and South, Bel-Air Park and Ridgeview. The community is mostly middle class. In the Iris, Cobden and Elmira areas there are community housing projects. To the west of the projects is a small shopping strip on Cobden. Around Baseline, Highgate and Westbury there are three-story apartment buildings owned by Minto. Many Algonquin College students live there. Parkway Park is home to three schools: Terre-des-Jerres, Bishop Hamilton Montessori School and Joan D'Arc. Joan D'Arc is a girls private school (the school used to be Queensway Public School until its closure in 1999). Terre-des-Jerres recently moved from the former Whitehaven Public School location. The built used to be Des Laurier High School which moved the former J. S. Woodsworth Secondary School location on Chesteron and Viewmount Drive in Parkwood Hills. It is also home to the 2 parks, Parkway Park and Pinecrest Recreation Park with a baseball diamond. The Pinecrest Recreation Centre features meeting rooms, a gym, a swimming pool and a hockey arena a named after Canadian skater Barbara Ann Scott. Next to the arena there is a court named after Barbara Ann Scott with townhouses.

Redwood is a neighbourhood located in Ottawa's west end. The boundaries of the neighbourhood is Greenbank Road to the east, Baseline Road to the south, Morrison Drive (old Ottawa-Nepean border line) to the west and Highway 417 to the north. Its sister neighbourhoods are Qualicum, Leslie Park, and Queensway Terrace.

Foster Farm, nicknamed "the Farm", is a neighbourhood in the Britannia area of Bay Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is roughly bounded to the north by Richmond Road, to the east by Pinecrest Road, to the west by the former Ottawa/Nepean city limits and the south by the Highway 417, the Queensway. It is bordered by Fairfield Heights, Queensway Terrace North, Redwood, Michele Heights. The total population of this area according to the 2016 Canada Census was 3,636.
