Government Bangla College (Bengali: সরকারি বাঙলা কলেজ) is a public college located in the northwest part of the capital city of Dhaka in Bangladesh.The college was established on 1 October 1962 by Principal Abul Kashem to promote the use of the Bangla in higher education and to establish the language in all spheres of national life of Bangalis. It is affiliated with the University of Dhaka.

The university was established according to the law of Private University Act 1992. It is affiliated by the University Grants Commission Bangladesh. A group of educationists and philanthropist has established this institute in the year 2002. PU is the first venture of the Prime Foundation. At present the university has ten undergraduate and eight graduate programs offered by the five faculties.

Muhammadabad Islamia Alim Madrasah (Bengali: মুহাম্মদাবাদ ইসলামিয়া আলিম মাদরাসা) is an Alim (higher secondary) madrasa, situated in the Middle Paikpara of Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 1983. It has hostel facility for non-resident students, and various services for poor students. This institute arrange various kinds of cultural programs every year. The principal of this Madrasah, Rafiqul Islam, was awarded the "Best Principal of the Dhaka City" consecutively for three times.

Ibn Sina Medical College (ISMC) (Bengali: ইবনে সিনা মেডিকেল কলেজ) is a private medical school in Bangladesh, established in 2005. It is located in the Kallyanpur area of Mirpur Model Thana, in Dhaka. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka as a constituent college. It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognised by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The college's 14-story building also houses a teaching hospital with 250 beds. Construction is underway on a second, 16-story hospital on campus that will add 500 beds. Bangladesh Journal of Medical Science is the official journal of the college.

Bashir Uddin Adarsha School and College is a school and college located in Mirpur-1, Dhaka, Bangladesh. This area is popular for the school. The school was established in 1968. The college building is currently under reconstruction.

Bangladesh-Korea Technical Training Centre is a technical training centre in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This institution is located in Mirpur, Dhaka. It was founded in 1942 as a training centre for veterans of World War II. It runs under the Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET). This government organization provides various courses to make people more skilful for their future workplace. It received grants from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the internal development agency of South Korea.
