Ibn Sina Medical College

Kalyanpur (Bengali: কল্যাণপুর) is a place of Bangladesh, in Dhaka. It is a neighbour of Shyamoli. It is under Mirpur Thana, and it has a sub-post office under the Mohammadpur Exchange-1207. It is on the Dhaka North City Corporation. It is the home of the Kallyanpur Girls School and College, that was established in 1972. This place is popular for inter-district bus counters.

Holi Lane, Ring Road', Shyamoli (Bengali: শ্যামলী) is a locality in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is to the northwest of Agargaon, neighbour of the Kallyanpur. Shaymoli is a busy area of Dhaka. The previous landmark Shaymoli cinema hall is destroyed and recently a shopping mall has emerged on its place, named Shaymoli Square. It is the largest shopping mall of Shyamoli. There is also a new cine-complex instead of Shaymoli cinema hall.

ASA University Bangladesh (Bengali: আশা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাংলাদেশ, ASAUB) is a private university in Shyamoli, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university was established under the Private University Act 1992. ASAUB is affiliated by the University Grants Commission Bangladesh. Md. Muinuddin Khan (widely known as M. M. Khan) was the premier vice-chancellor of ASAUB, and he held the position for five years. The present vice-chancellor of ASAUB is Dalem Chandra Barman.

It has collaborated with international bodies such as the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to enhance its humanitarian efforts. In 2025, it was also involved in organizing a march for Gaza, advocating for Palestinian rights and condemning Israeli military actions.

National Museum of Science and Technology (NMST) (Bengali: জাতীয় বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি জাদুঘর) in Dhaka, Bangladesh was founded on April 26, 1965, by the Pakistani government and became a part of Bangladesh's Ministry of Science and Technology following the Bangladesh Liberation War. It was first based in the Dhaka Public Library, and moved a number of times before its permanent home was completed in 1981. The NMST serves as Bangladesh's only science museum and organizes science education activities at a national level.
