Vasundhara Enclave is a residential area located in East Delhi, at Delhi-Noida border, one of the 11 zones of Delhi. The adjoining areas include Dallupura Village, Mayur Vihar Phase III, New Kondli, New Ashok Nagar, Noida Sector - 6 & 7. Vasundhara Enclave has about forty-four apartments (group housing societies), six markets, nine-ten schools, two colleges, one hospital & one dispensary.

Kondli Assembly constituency is one of the seventy Delhi assembly constituencies of Delhi in northern India. Kondli assembly constituency is a part of East Delhi (Lok Sabha constituency). This constituency was created by reorganization by delimitation commission in 2008.

The Ghazipur landfill is a landfill waste dumping site established in 1984. It is located in Ghazipur, a village in the eastern district of Delhi, India. The landfill covers an area of approximately 70 acres (28 ha) and reaches heights of over 150 feet (46 m). Ghazipur has become one of the largest landfills in Delhi. The landfill reached its maximum capacity in 2002; however, it continues to receive solid waste from the city of Delhi. Despite efforts to mitigate problems, long term mismanagement at the landfill has created significant ongoing environmental, fire, and human health hazards, with the site emitting toxic gases, polluting groundwater, and creating an extreme fire hazard. A major fire broke out at the landfill site on 21 April 2024; the fire rapidly spread, engulfing several areas of the landfill. Toxic smoke from the fire has caused significant health and breathing problems. The cause of the fire is undetermined. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has requested a reply from the relevant authorities, such as the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), regarding the recent fire incident at the Ghazipur landfill site within a period of five weeks.

Sanjay Lake is an artificial lake developed by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in Trilokpuri in East Delhi, India, adjoining Mayur Vihar II residential area. The lake is Spread over an area of approximately 17 hectares (42 acres) in the middle of a 69 hectares (170 acres) forest area, also known as Sanjay Lake Park. Sanjay Lake was developed in the 1970s by DDA and opened in 1982. The lake attracts some migratory birds and has many indigenous trees. A well-laid-out fitness track is very popular with walking-enthusiasts.
