The Temple Emanuel (Hebrew: עִמָנוּאֵל, God is with us) in Denver, Colorado, also known as Congregation Emanuel, is a Reform (progressive) Jewish synagogue. It was the first synagogue established in Colorado. There are historic buildings of the temple on Curtis Street, Grape Street, and Pearl Street, in Denver.

Cranmer House, also known as Kerwin House, is a historic two-story, stucco-clad Italian Renaissance Revival house at 200 Cherry Street in Denver, Colorado. The house was built in 1917 for George E. Cranmer, who was Denver Manager of Improvement and Parks. It was designed by architect Jacques Benedict. An addition built in the late 1920s, including a dormer, was designed by architect Burnham Hoyt. The house was purchased by Thomas and Mary Ann Kerwin, one of the co-founders of La Leche League, in the 1960s; they and their children resided there for 30 years.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Lloyd M. Joshel House, also known simply as the Joshel House, is a private residence in the Hilltop Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Built in 1951, it is known as one of the finest examples of the International Style in residential architecture in Denver. The property is a local City of Denver Landmark and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Cranmer Park is a Denver city park located in the Hilltop neighborhood off of Colorado Boulevard between East 1st and East 3rd Avenue. It is most famous for a large sundial, which does double duty as a climbing appliance for children. An inscription at the base describes the axis of the gnomon as elevated 39°43' in the direction of polar north. The stone is perpendicular to the gnomon at 50°17', which makes it parallel to the equator. The south side of the stone is similarly marked for wintertime observation. A polar chart at the base of the sundial describes the zodiac and degrees of the sun's position, and how to set a clock based on the gnomon's shadow. For winter viewing, the chart continues on the south side of the stone.

Nordlund House is a historic house in central Denver, Colorado. Designed by Eugene G. Groves, it is a seven-level building and 3,000 square foot dwelling. The exterior is precast and poured-in-place, reinforced concrete, a process that was patented by Groves and made by his construction company. The exterior walls have rounded corners and are finished in stucco. There is a rooftop terrace and a domed living room roof. Decorative elements include wrought iron and red glazed tiles.Concrete is used within the interior of the house, including the built-in seating in the kitchen, kitchen countertops and cabinet faces, and bookcases. The house has an irregular, seven-level floor plan. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 12, 1998.

Shangri-La is a Streamline Moderne mansion in Denver, Colorado, United States. Commissioned by Denver movie theater magnate Harry E. Huffman and designed by architect Raymond Harry Ervin, it is a replica of the fictional monastery featured in the 1937 film Lost Horizon. Built on a 5-acre (2.0 ha) tract of land in 1937–38, it was occupied by Huffman and his wife until 1969. Beginning in 1962, the west lawn was subdivided and populated with additional upscale housing, including Cableland, and the circular drive was remapped as Shangri La Drive. The current owners of the house are A. Barry and Arlene Hirschfeld.

Cableland is the official residence of the Mayor of Denver, Colorado. To date, no Denver mayor has ever lived in the mansion. It is made available for use to certain non-profit organizations for special events and fundraising purposes.It was donated, along with a $4 million endowment, to the City and County of Denver by cable television mogul Bill Daniels in 1998. He died in 2000.The mansion originally had many unusual features such as a fire pole down the center of a spiral staircase leading to the master bedroom, elephant sculptures, and a pink piano. In 2012, the mansion received a major remodel to modernize the decor.The mansion was built on land subdivided from the original grounds of the Shangri-La mansion built by Harry E. Huffman in 1937.

Mizel Museum, a Jewish history museum located in Denver, Colorado, is an entity with The Mizel Institute and is a part of Lion Global Foundation. It was founded by Larry Mizel and his wife Carol in 1982. According to Larry, "The museum is really designed to be an outreach to the broader community, and our focal point has been bridges of understanding, which is bringing people together of different races and different religions, to show mostly younger people in school what they have similar with each other."The Mizel Museum is a Jewish history museum with cultural and artistic content, including digital presentations. Its main exhibits are "4,000 Year Road Trip: Gathering Sparks" and, beginning in 2014, "The Power of Place". It also has exhibits about The Holocaust (1941–1945).Its subsidiary, Center for Empowered Learning and Living (CELL), is a non-profit organization that promotes anti-terrorism efforts and educates the public about the risk of terrorism around the world.

It also provides comprehensive women's care, orthopedics and total joint replacement, heart and vascular care, weight-loss treatment, cancer care, surgical services, internal medicine and emergency care. Ryan Tobin is the President and Chief Executive Officer. An acute care hospital with 422 licensed beds, Rose cares for more than 160,000 patients annually with a team of 1,300 full-time employees, 100 volunteers and more than 1,200 physicians.Rose Medical Center was founded in 1945 by a group of Jewish community leaders who wanted to create a hospital that was free of discrimination. Following a national fundraising campaign, the new hospital was named in honor of Denver prominent figure Major General Maurice Rose, one of the highest-ranking members of the military to die in the field of combat. The cornerstone of the main building of the hospital was laid by General Dwight D. Eisenhower on August 31, 1948 and General Rose Memorial Hospital opened for patients in March 1949. Rose was the first hospital to credential the first African American physician in the state of Colorado.

The Hale neighborhood is a designated statistical neighborhood in the City and County of Denver, Colorado. Its boundaries are Colfax Avenue to the north, 6th Avenue to the south, Colorado Boulevard to the west, and Holly Street to the east. Most of the neighborhood is represented by the Bellevue-Hale Neighborhood Association, a registered neighborhood organization.
