Rose Medical Center is a part of HCA Healthcare's HealthONE network. With thousands of babies born each year, Rose is colloquially known as Denver's "Baby Hospital." It also provides comprehensive women's care, orthopedics and total joint replacement, heart and vascular care, weight-loss treatment, cancer care, surgical services, internal medicine and emergency care. Ryan Tobin is the President and Chief Executive Officer. An acute care hospital with 422 licensed beds, Rose cares for more than 160,000 patients annually with a team of 1,300 full-time employees, 100 volunteers and more than 1,200 physicians.Rose Medical Center was founded in 1945 by a group of Jewish community leaders who wanted to create a hospital that was free of discrimination. Following a national fundraising campaign, the new hospital was named in honor of Denver prominent figure Major General Maurice Rose, one of the highest-ranking members of the military to die in the field of combat. The cornerstone of the main building of the hospital was laid by General Dwight D. Eisenhower on August 31, 1948 and General Rose Memorial Hospital opened for patients in March 1949. Rose was the first hospital to credential the first African American physician in the state of Colorado.

Nordlund House is a historic house in central Denver, Colorado. Designed by Eugene G. Groves, it is a seven-level building and 3,000 square foot dwelling. The exterior is precast and poured-in-place, reinforced concrete, a process that was patented by Groves and made by his construction company. The exterior walls have rounded corners and are finished in stucco. There is a rooftop terrace and a domed living room roof. Decorative elements include wrought iron and red glazed tiles.Concrete is used within the interior of the house, including the built-in seating in the kitchen, kitchen countertops and cabinet faces, and bookcases. The house has an irregular, seven-level floor plan. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on February 12, 1998.

National Jewish Health is a Denver, Colorado academic hospital/clinic doing research and treatment in respiratory, cardiac, immune and related disorders. It is an internationally respected medical center that draws people from many countries to receive care. Founded in 1899 to treat tuberculosis, it is non-sectarian but had funding from B'nai B'rith until the 1950s.The hospital, originally named as the National Jewish Hospital for Consumptives has been renamed many times, including as National Jewish Hospital (1925-1964), National Jewish Hospital and Research Center (1965-1977), National Jewish Hospital and Research Center/National Asthma Center (following a 1978 merger with the National Asthma Center), National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine (1986-1996). and National Jewish Medical and Research Center (1997-2008). In July 2008, it was renamed National Jewish Health.

Cranmer House, also known as Kerwin House, is a historic two-story, stucco-clad Italian Renaissance Revival house at 200 Cherry Street in Denver, Colorado. The house was built in 1917 for George E. Cranmer, who was Denver Manager of Improvement and Parks. It was designed by architect Jacques Benedict. An addition built in the late 1920s, including a dormer, was designed by architect Burnham Hoyt. The house was purchased by Thomas and Mary Ann Kerwin, one of the co-founders of La Leche League, in the 1960s; they and their children resided there for 30 years.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church is a historic church at 1980 Dahlia Street, on the corner of Montview Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. It was built in 1910 and was added to the National Register in 2004.It was built as a tiny chapel in Richardsonian Romanesque style in 1910 and expanded, also in Richardsonian Romanesque style, in 1918, with the expansion designed by architects Frank W. Frewan and Harry J. Manning. An education wing was added in 1926, also in Richardsonian Romanesque style, designed by Hoyt and Hoyt. It was further expanded in 1958 in Gothic Revival style.

Cranmer Park is a Denver city park located in the Hilltop neighborhood off of Colorado Boulevard between East 1st and East 3rd Avenue. It is most famous for a large sundial, which does double duty as a climbing appliance for children. An inscription at the base describes the axis of the gnomon as elevated 39°43' in the direction of polar north. The stone is perpendicular to the gnomon at 50°17', which makes it parallel to the equator. The south side of the stone is similarly marked for wintertime observation. A polar chart at the base of the sundial describes the zodiac and degrees of the sun's position, and how to set a clock based on the gnomon's shadow. For winter viewing, the chart continues on the south side of the stone.

East Sixth Avenue Parkway is a parkway, part of the Denver Park and Parkway System, which was built in 1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.It runs from Colorado Blvd. to Quebec St. in the Hale and Montclair neighborhoods of Denver, Colorado. The listing included two contributing structures.

It is accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and is a Smithsonian Institution affiliate. In 2022 the museum received 1,151,000 visitors, ranking eighth in the List of most-visited museums in the United States. It was the fourth-most-visited U.S. museum of nature and science.
