Thorne Head Preserve

The Days Ferry Historic District encompasses a rural village that grew around a ferry crossing on the Kennebec River in what is now Woolwich, Maine. The village and ferry were on the main stage route between Bath and Wiscasset until the 1870s, and retains a concentration of well-preserved 18th and early 19th-century houses. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Governor William King House, also known locally as the Stone House, is a historic house on Whiskeag Road in Bath, Maine. Built in 1812, this stone house's lancet-arch windows are one of the first examples of Gothic Revival architecture in New England. The house was built as a summer retreat for William King, who led the drive for Maine statehood, and served as the state's first governor. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Oak Grove Cemetery (originally the Sewall Burying Ground) is an historic cemetery located in Bath, Maine. Its oldest headstone bears the date January 22, 1777. The cemetery was purchased from the heirs of Charles Sewall in 1872.The cemetery is situated on Oak Grove Avenue near Maple Grove Cemetery. These cemeteries are considered two of Bath's "big three", the other one being Calvary Cemetery, just north of downtown. A portion of the cemetery close to Oak Grove Avenue is given to the Jewish Beth Israel Cemetery. It contains 96 burial spaces.Whiskeag Trail traverses a portion of the cemetery, crossing Old Brunswick Road at its southern boundary. It crosses the cemetery's bridge that spans the Rockland Branch railroad.

The Bath Historic District encompasses the historic 19th-century business district of Bath, Maine, along with an adjacent period neighborhood. The city has a long history as one of the nation's preeminent shipbuilding centers. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Bath is a city in Sagadahoc County, Maine, United States. Bath is included in the Brunswick micropolitan. The population was 8,766 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Sagadahoc County, which includes one city and 10 towns. The city is popular with tourists, many drawn by its 19th-century architecture. It is home to the Bath Iron Works and Heritage Days Festival, held annually on the Fourth of July weekend. It is commonly known as "The City of Ships" because of all the sailing ships that were built in the Bath shipyards. Bath is part of the Portland-South Portland-Biddeford metropolitan statistical area.

The Winter Street Church, originally known as the Winter Street Congregational Church, is an historic former Congregational church at 880 Washington Street, corner of Winter Street in Bath, Sagadahoc County, Maine. Built in 1843-44, it is a fine early example of Gothic Revival architecture, designed and built by a local master builder. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 27, 1971. The building was saved from destruction by Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. in 1971, and is now called the Winter Street Center.

The Patten Free Library is a public library in Bath, Maine, United States. It also serves the communities of Arrowsic, Georgetown, West Bath, and Woolwich. The Patten Library Association was founded in 1847. In 1887, Galen C. Moses donated $10,000 to fund a building for the library. The original building was designed by George Edward Harding, and was finished in 1890. New wings were built in 1961 and 1998.

The John E.L. Huse Memorial School is a historic former school building at 39 Andrews Street in Bath, Maine. Built in 1942, it is one of a small number of schools built in Maine with federal funding provided under the World War II-era Community Facilities Act. It was closed in 2006, and has been converted to residential use. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Morse High School (Morse or MHS) is a public high school in Bath, Maine, serving the towns of Bath, Phippsburg, Woolwich, and Arrowsic. The student/adult ratio at Morse is 15:1. The school colors are blue and white. Class elections take place every year. The enrollment is 623 students.

Woolwich is a town in Sagadahoc County, Maine, United States. The population was 3,068 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine metropolitan statistical area. Woolwich is a suburb of the city of Bath located on the opposite shore of Merrymeeting Bay.

The Chops Passage is a channel in Sagadahoc County, Maine and is nearby to Chops Point, West Chops Point and Sturgeon Island. Merrymeeting Bay empties into the Kennebec River here before it heads to the Atlantic Ocean. Chop Point School and Chop Point Camp are also located on west Chops Point a Peninsula located at one side of The Chops. The Chops Passage is close to Goose Cove and Butler Cove, and marks the border between Bath, Maine, and Woolwich, Maine.

The U.S. Customhouse and Post Office is a historic commercial building at 1 Front Street in downtown Bath, Maine. Built by the federal government in 1858, it is a fine example of Italianate architecture designed by Ammi B. Young, housing the local post office and customs facilities until 1970. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970. It now houses businesses.
