Yarramalong (cedar country) is a township and suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located 20 kilometres (12 mi) upstream from Wyong along the Wyong River. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The Yarramalong township has: Rural Fire Station, two cemeteries, public school (which closed down recently and is now used for community purposes), general store/petrol station, bottle shop/guest house and a hall which was originally an art hall but is now also used for community purposes. Busways now only operates a school bus service between Yarramalong and Wyong. It was acquired from Yarramalong Bus Lines in 2008.Yarramalong Valley is the home of many horse studs, turf farms, citrus crops as well as a macadamia nut farm and a lavender farm. The Great North Walk also passes through Yarramalong to Cedar Brush Creek to the north and Kulnura.

Kulnura () is a rural suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located north of Mangrove Mountain along the George Downes Drive. Kulnura is located within the Central Coast Council local government area. Kulnura's name is an Aboriginal word meaning "in sight of the sea" or "up in the clouds", it was named in 1914 by a meeting of the early pioneers Messrs Archibold, Collins, Gatley, Penn, Young, Williams and Gibson. Its population of approximately 600 people rely mostly on the town's fruit and cattle industries for income, however many commute to regional hubs such as Gosford and Wyong and other areas of the Central Coast. It is also home to the biggest water supply catchment area on the Central Coast, Mangrove Creek Dam which has a capacity of 190 000 ML, and has a free tourist kiosk on the site. "Mangrove Mountain Bottlers Pty Ltd" bottle still water at their plant at Kulnura, as well as for private label mass-retailers, such as 7–11. Another one of Kulnura's attractions is the Paintball Place, which holds paintball skirmishes for people over 16.

The Darkinjung (not to be confused with the Darkinyung people further inland) are the Local Aboriginal Land Council in the Central Coast, New South Wales, area of Australia and a major landowner on the Central Coast, participating in formal joint management of some areas of state forest in the region. It represents over 450 local Aboriginal residents. The Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council are self-appointed caretakers of the Central Coast of NSW Australia. They do not claim to be the traditional owners of the area in which they reside.The Darkinjung people are believed to have died out in the late 19th century due to the effects of disease and dispossession. Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council represents the interests of the Aboriginal residents of the Darkinjung lands, but those Aboriginal residents come from other Aboriginal groups.

Little Jilliby is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. At the 2016 Australian Census, Little Jilliby has a population of 120.Little Jilliby is an area described as generally those properties on either side of Little Jilliby Road, in the valley running west from Jilliby Road. Jilliby State Conservation Area is nearby.

Central Mangrove is a locality within the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is about 81 kilometres (50 mi) north of Sydney. The locality is located within the Central Coast Council local government area. The town is situated at the crossroads of Wisemans Ferry Road and George Downes Drive, and contains a primary school, a 9-hole golf course, country club and health centre.

The Central Coast is a peri-urban region lying on the Pacific Ocean in northern-eastern New South Wales, Australia. The region is situated north of Sydney, which is filled with subtropical national parks, forests and also encompasses the major coastal waterways of Brisbane Water, Tuggerah Lakes and southern Lake Macquarie. Gosford is the main commercial hub and gateway. The Central Coast includes major localities, villages and towns such as Gosford, Wyong, Terrigal, Woy Woy and The Entrance, the area is the third-largest urban area in New South Wales and the ninth-largest urban area in Australia. Geographically, the Central Coast is generally considered to include the region bounded by the Hawkesbury River in the south, the Watagan Mountains in the west and the southern end of Lake Macquarie, lying on the Sydney basin.

Mangrove Mountain is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located about 14 kilometres (9 mi) upstream and north of Spencer along Mangrove Creek.

Peats Ridge is a suburb in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, as part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Peats Ridge was opened to white settlement relatively late, as the Great North Road to the Hunter Valley left from Spencer on the Hawkesbury River, effectively bypassing the area until the early part of the 20th century. The area is named for George Peat. A number of fine aboriginal rock carvings survive in Peats Ridge. Formerly an area with many citrus orchards and market gardens, the improved access to Sydney through the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway has meant that it has increasingly become the home of commuters with jobs in Sydney. There are a number of nurseries and horse studs in the district.
