Brookhaven Historic District

Historic Brookhaven is a historic neighborhood, part of which lies in Atlanta's Buckhead Community, part of which lies in Sandy Springs, Georgia, and part of which lies in city of Brookhaven, Georgia, to which it lends its name. Capital City Club country club is at the center of the neighborhood, and it is surrounded by valuable homes, many of which were designed by a number of well-known Atlanta architects of the pre-war period. The neighborhood boundaries are well defined, and it stretches from Peachtree Dunwoody Road to the west, Windsor Parkway to the north, Mabry Drive to the east, and Peachtree Road to the south. Historic Brookhaven has perpetually been one of metropolitan Atlanta's wealthiest neighborhoods. As of 2010, it has a median household income of $236,393.

Brookhaven is a city in the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta that is located in western DeKalb County, Georgia, United States, directly northeast of Atlanta. On July 31, 2012, Brookhaven was approved in a referendum to become DeKalb County's 11th city. Incorporation officially took place on December 17, 2012, on which date municipal operations commenced. With a population of around 55,366 as of 2021, it is the largest city in DeKalb County. The new city stretches over 12 square miles (31 km2).

Park Avenue Condominiums is a 486 ft (148m) tall skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. It was constructed from 1998 to 2000 and has 44 floors. Burt Hill Kosar Rittelmann Associates designed the building, which is the 16th tallest in Atlanta and was the tallest all residential tower until TWELVE Centennial Park passed it in 2007.

CityPlace at Buckhead was an approved residential complex that planned to include eight 493 ft (150m), tall, 42 floor, skyscrapers and a 27 floor, 353 ft (108m) tall building, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It was planned to take up 19.5 acres (79,000 m2), have almost 5,000,000 square feet (460,000 m2) of residential space and 95,000 square feet (8,800 m2) of retail space, and 3,800 units. It was approved July 27, 2006, and was being designed by Arquitectonica. In October 2009 the property was foreclosed on and returned to the lender, Wells Fargo Bank. As of April 2011 the property was back up for sale.

The Rheumatology Research Foundation funds rheumatology research and training in the United States. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to improving the health of people living with rheumatic disease. With an extensive awards program, the Foundation is working to recruit and train the next generation of rheumatology health professionals. The Foundation advances research that leads to new treatments and, one day, cures. The Foundation has received a 4-star rating, the highest offered by Charity Navigator, for eight consecutive years, which takes into account the company's governance, fiscal management and commitment to accountability & transparency.

Phipps Plaza is a shopping mall in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia. It is located at the intersection of Peachtree Road (SR 141) and Lenox Road (SR 141 Connector), adjacent to the Phipps Tower office building. The mall is currently owned and managed by Simon Property Group, and is considered a sister mall to the adjacent, Simon-owned Lenox Square. As of 2021, it is anchored by department stores Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue.

Town Brookhaven is a 600,000-square-foot (56,000 m2) mixed-use district developed by the Sembler Company, located on a 54-acre site at Peachtree Road and Town Boulevard (formerly Cross Keys Drive) in Brookhaven, Georgia, adjacent to Oglethorpe University. Major commercial tenants include Cobb Theatres Cine'bistro (a luxury dinner-and-a-movie theatre), Costco, Marshalls, an LA Fitness gym, and a Publix supermarket. In addition, there are more than 1,500 residential units and 150,000 square feet (14,000 m2) of office space in the complex.

Phipps Tower is a 20-story office tower in Buckhead, Atlanta. It is adjacent to the Phipps Plaza shopping center. John Hancock Life Insurance Company owns, manages and leases the building. It is on a 2.96-acre (12,000 m2) plot of land.

The Pinnacle is a 22-story skyscraper in the Buckhead district of Atlanta. Built at the corner of Lenox and Peachtree Roads, construction was finished in 1998. Given that Buckhead is the financial center of both Atlanta and the Southeast, many of the buildings tenants are in the financial sector, including brokerage and consulting firms such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Salesforce Tower Atlanta is a 425 ft (130m) tall skyscraper in Atlanta, Georgia. It was completed in 1986 and has 34 floors. Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates, Inc. designed the building, which is tied with 1100 Peachtree as the 25th tallest building in Atlanta. A second tower with the same profile, but boasting ten additional floors, and a four-hundred-room hotel were originally planned for the surrounding site but never built.The building entry is undergoing renovations. Renovations are to begin August 1, 2017.On October 17, 2018 Salesforce.com announced plans to occupy 3 additional floors. This will bring their total occupancy to 7 floors thus earning Salesforce naming rights to the tower. Other office occupants include RentPath, Rubicon, SAS Institute, Ademco, Soltech, iFOLIO, and Carat.

North Buckhead is a neighborhood in the Buckhead district, at the northern edge of the city of Atlanta, Georgia, and is one of Atlanta's most affluent neighborhoods.With a population of 8,270 (2010 census), it is also Atlanta's fourth most populous neighborhood, after Downtown, Midtown, and the Old Fourth Ward.

The Alliance Center is a complex in Atlanta, Georgia. Its tallest building is the 478-foot, 40-floor Paramount at Buckhead. It also includes the 22-floor One Alliance Center, and the 30-floor Two Alliance Center. Previously the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta was in Suite 1600 on the 16th floor of One Alliance Center, and the consul general's office had a northward panoramic view of Kennesaw Mountain. In 2005 the consul general's mansion was also in Buckhead. In 2002 the consulate announced it was moving from Colony Square to One Alliance Center. It had signed a ten-year lease there for fewer than 26,000 square feet (2,400 m2) of space. The consulate had over three years left on the lease of Colony Square. Because Trizec Properties owned both office properties, the consulate was easily able to move to its new location.Global Payments is headquartered in Three Alliance Center.
