Ernest Junction railway tunnel is a heritage-listed former railway tunnel at 797 Ashmore Road, Molendinar, Gold Coast City, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1885 to 1889 by the Queensland Railway Department. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 3 May 2019.

The Gold Coast University Hospital station is the only underground light rail station for network and provides a bus interchange located on the street level. Translink provides an integrated public transport network for the whole of South East Queensland. Surfside buslines under contract from Translink provides suburban bus services from the GCUH bus station to the surrounding suburbs. The light rail service, known as the G:link runs from Broadbeach South to Helensvale via the key activity precincts of Southport and Surfers Paradise.

The $230 million facility opened with 284 beds and 13 operating theatres with capacity to expand to 400 beds and 21 theatres, in line with demand.The Emergency Care Centre is open 24/7 and is headed by Dr Anthony Padowitz The hospital is co-located with the Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith University, forming a major part of the Gold Coast's 'Health and Knowledge Precinct'.

Parkwood light rail station is located on the corner of Napper Road and Smith Street Motorway in the Gold Coast suburb of Parkwood. The station is part of the Gold Coast's G:link light rail network and provides a 'park and ride' facilities for up to 1000 vehicles. Parkwood light rail station opened for service on 17 December 2017 when the extension to Helensvale was completed.
