The South Brunswick Public Schools are a comprehensive community public school district, serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from South Brunswick Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2018–19 school year, the district, comprising 10 schools, had an enrollment of 8,623 students and 634.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.6:1.The district has grown substantially in recent decades, with district enrollment more than doubling in the two decades from 1991 and high school enrollment doubling to nearly 2,000 in the decade prior to 2001, and increasing by another 1,000 in the subsequent decade.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "I", the second-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.

Cottageville is an unincorporated community located within South Brunswick Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The settlement is located along Davidson Mill Road (formerly named Cottageville Road) at the former Newark–Trenton Fast Line right-of-way, now a PSE&G transmission line corridor. The trolley stop at the settlement allowed for summer cottages to be built in the area leading to the area's name. Today, some of the older homes remain in addition to a summer camp, forest land, and PSE&G's Deans substation.

North Brunswick is a proposed railroad station along the Northeast Corridor (NEC) in North Brunswick, New Jersey, that will be built by New Jersey Transit Rail Operations (NJT) to serve its Northeast Corridor Line. Approved in 2013, it was planned to open in 2018 and projected to cost $30 million. It is one of several projects along the "New Jersey Speedway" section of the NEC. The station was proposed for the former Johnson & Johnson facility on Route 1 and Aaron Road by the new owners of the 212-acre (86 ha) site, and is part of a transit-oriented development known as Main Street North Brunswick. New Jersey Transit's Fiscal 2015 capital budget allocated funding for the station. As of mid-2017, construction of the project had not begun. In October 2017, it was announced the project had received $50 million from the Transportation Trust Fund. In October 2019, NJT and Middlesex County had committed $70 million to start work on the station. In 2021 the County Improvement Authority hired WSP USA to design the station.

Deans is an unincorporated community located within South Brunswick Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States.Deans originated from its location on both Crosswicknung Trail (Georges Road) and Lawrence Brook. Dams were built on the brook, creating Deans Pond. The center of the community is centered about the intersection of Deans Lane (County Route 610) and Georges Road (CR 697). CR 610 continues east from the community on Deans Rhode Hall Road; other transportation facilities that pass near Deans include U.S. Route 130 just east of the community and the Northeast Corridor railroad to the west (a station serving the community once existed). Residential homes dot the area around Deans but some businesses line nearby arterial roads and large warehouses are situated along Industrial Way at US 130.

Floral Park Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in South Brunswick, New Jersey, where many prominent Hassidic Rabbis are buried, including Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam and Rabbi Naftali Halberstam of Bobov, Rabbi Hershele Horowitz of Spinka, Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Mertz, Rabbi Avigdor of Tchenstchoiv, Rabbi Pinchos Shalom Rottenberg and his son Rabbi Menachem Yisroel Rottenberg of the Kosson, Rabbi Menachem Shlomo Taub of Kaliv, Rabbi Shalom Krausz Udvary Rov. Rabbi Moses Josef Rubin of Cimpulung and Rabbi Yitzchok Issac Langner the Stretiner Rebbe of New York City. The cemetery contains many holocaust survivors including Yecheskel (Chaskel) Steuer, Meir (Max) Miller, Gisella (Roth) Green, Irving (Israel) Green, Ruchma Lesser & sister Rivka Gutter, Beatrice Roth, Jerry Hans, and many others from countries such as Poland, Hungary and Germany. One of the many societies represented is the first Wodzislaw Society. This was a society of holocaust survivors from Poland. Wodzislaw was one of many small villages in Poland. The society met once a month in New York City. Across the street from the Floral Park Cemetery is the Washington Cemetery. Washington Cemetery is a separate cemetery from the Floral Park Cemetery, but both are under the same management. Many of the prominent Rabbis said to be buried in Floral Park Cemetery are actually buried in Washington Cemetery.

Brookview is an unincorporated community located within East Brunswick Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The settlement is located along Church Lane at the former Newark–Trenton Fast Line right-of-way, now a PSE&G transmission line corridor. The Brookview Volunteer Fire Company, established in 1952, takes its name from the settlement.

Beaverdam Brook is a tributary of Lawrence Brook in central East Brunswick, New Jersey in the United States.

Adams is an unincorporated community located within North Brunswick Township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. The community is located along Cozzens Lane (County Route 608) between Route 27 and U.S. Route 1. Except for commercial businesses lining Routes 1 and 27, the community is made up of mostly residential homes and apartment complexes. The community once had a station known as Adams Station, along the Pennsylvania Railroad (currently the Northeast Corridor Line), located on Adams Lane, just east of Route 1.
