St. Matthias' Church, Nottingham, was a Church of England church in Sneinton, Nottingham, between 1868 and 2003. It is a Grade II listed building.

Green's Windmill is a restored and working 19th century tower windmill in Sneinton, Nottingham. Built in the early 1800s for the milling of wheat into flour, it remained in use until the 1860s. Sneinton residents of note include William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army, and mathematician George Green, who worked Green's Mill at the top of Belvoir Hill.

Thorneywood railway station was a station on the former Great Northern Railway Nottingham Suburban railway in Thorneywood, Nottingham, England. It opened in 1889, regular passenger services ceased in 1916. Woodthorpe Grange Park opened to the public in 1922. On 10 July 1928 King George V and Queen Mary visited the park and 17,000 school children travelled to the event on the NSR to Sherwood and Thorneywood Stations (which had been re-opened for the event). An enthusiasts special ran on 16 June 1951 but goods train finished on 1 August 1951 when the line was abandoned. and the track was lifted in 1954. Former Services

Lawrence married in the church on 27 December 1875.

Stonebridge City Farm is an urban farm in St Ann's, Nottingham, England. Created in 1980, it is relatively small in size, being sited in an area of regeneration, on the footprint of a school and grounds that was originally planned to have been built there.

Sneinton Festival is a local cultural event that takes place every July in Sneinton, Nottingham, England. The first festival was held in 1995, and is run by The Festival Group, a volunteer group made up of local residents, representatives of local organisations, community groups, schools, church, youth and play groups, artists, musicians, performers and local project workers. Since 2002, the group has been supported and coordinated by the Sneinton Community Project. Each festival is organised around three individual elements: initial workshops, a week-long festival, and lastly a carnival day. The festival is based at the Greenway Centre on Trent Lane.
