Sneinton Festival

St Christopher's Church, Sneinton is a Church of England church in Sneinton Nottingham.

Sneinton (pronounced "Snenton") is a village and suburb of Nottingham, England. The area is bounded by Nottingham city centre to the west, Bakersfield to the north, Colwick to the east, and the River Trent to the south. Sneinton now lies within the unitary authority of Nottingham, having been part of the borough of Nottingham since 1877. Sneinton has existed as a village since at least 1086, but remained relatively unchanged up until the industrial era, when the population dramatically expanded. Further social change in the post-war period left Sneinton with a multicultural character. Sneinton residents of note include William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army, and mathematician George Green, who worked Green's Mill at the top of Belvoir Hill.

The Waterside Bridge is a planned pedestrian and cycle bridge over the River Trent in Nottingham, England. When built, it will be the first new river bridge in Nottingham since the Clifton Bridge was built sixty years ago.

Green's Windmill is a restored and working 19th century tower windmill in Sneinton, Nottingham. Built in the early 1800s for the milling of wheat into flour, it remained in use until the 1860s. It was renovated in the 1980s and is now part of a science centre, which together have become a local tourist attraction.

Burrows Court is a high rise residential building in the Sneinton neighbourhood in Nottingham, United Kingdom. The flats were built in 1967 to a height of 61 metres (200 ft), and has 21 floors in total. The building consists of 130 flats and has stood empty since 2005, with plans announced in 2018 for its refurbishment.

St. Stephen's Church, Sneinton is a parish church in the Church of England. The church is Grade II listed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as it is a building of special architectural or historic interest. The parents of D.H. Lawrence married in the church on 27 December 1875.
