Kallang Wave Mall

Leisure Park Kallang (or Kallang Leisure Park) is an entertainment centre and shopping mall in Kallang, Singapore. It is served by Stadium MRT station and is within the vicinity of the affluent community of Tanjong Rhu. It is sited next to the Singapore Sports Hub, Kallang Theatre and Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Kallang Park (Chinese: 劳动公园, Malay: Taman Kallang) was a large public park located in Kallang, Singapore. It existed from 1959 to early 1970s on the site currently occupied by the Singapore Sports Hub.

The Singapore Sports Hub (Chinese: 新加坡体育城; Malay: Hab Sukan Singapura; Tamil: சிங்கப்பூர் விளையாட்டு மையம்) is a sports and recreation district in Kallang, Singapore. The Sports Hub is a 35-hectare private-public partnership that is anchored by the new National Stadium and existing Singapore Indoor Stadium, and also incorporates a new aquatics facility, indoor sports hall, water sports centre, public sports facilities, and retail. The Sports Hub opened to the public on 30 June 2014. It is served primarily by the Stadium MRT station.

The former Singapore National Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Kallang, which opened in July 1973 and closed on 30 June 2007. The stadium was demolished from 2010 to 2011 for the development of the Singapore Sports Hub, which houses its successor. During its closure from 2007 to 2014, the National Day Parade (NDP) and sports events were held at the Marina Bay Floating Platform and Jalan Besar Stadium. The stadium was prominently the home of Singapore FA, a club side, and the Singapore national team. It also hosted the Singapore Cup finals annually, the first in 1996, and the second leg of the 2004 AFF Championship finals. In addition to association football matches, the stadium hosted the 1973, 1983 and 1993 Southeast Asian Games, the Singapore Armed Forces day parades and the opening ceremony of the biennial Singapore Youth Festival, as well as numerous music and cultural events. It was the primary venue for the NDP.

Stadium MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle Line (CCL). Located in the area of Kallang, Central Region, Singapore, the station serves the Singapore Sports Hub and its facilities including the National Stadium, Indoor Stadium, Kallang Theatre and Leisure Park Kallang. It is operated by SMRT Trains. Announced to be part of the Marina MRT line branch to either Kallang or Paya Lebar, construction of the station started in 2001. The line was later incorporated in the CCL as Stage 1 and the station opened on 17 April 2010 when Stages 1 and 2 of the CCL commenced operations. The design of the station by WOHA was commissioned through the Marina line Architectural Design Competition and was awarded the "Design Of The Year" of the President's Design Award in 2010.

The Singapore Sports Museum is a sports museum in Singapore, located at the Singapore Sports Hub in Kallang. The Singapore Sports Museum was established in 1983 at the former National Stadium to preserve and showcase Singapore's sporting heritage. It was opened to the public in May 1983 to coincide with the staging of the 1983 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore. In 2007, its collection was temporarily moved to the Singapore Sports Council's (SSC) temporary office and heritage corners of selected SSC sports and recreation centres such as Jurong West and Sengkang, while a new iteration of the museum was constructed as part of the Singapore Sports Hub project, originally expected to be completed by 2011.The rebuilt museum reopened on 6 October 2014, which added new interactive exhibits, an exhibit paying tribute to the former National Stadium, and a new Singapore Youth Olympic Museum.The Singapore Sports Museum is affiliated to the International Association of Sports Museums and Hall of Fame (IASMHF) based in the United States since 1984. It is also a member of the Museum Roundtable, set up by the National Heritage Board.

National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Opened on 30 June 2014, it was constructed on the site of the former National Stadium, which was closed in 2007 and demolished in 2010. The 55,000-seat facility serves as the home stadium of the Singapore national football team, and is the centrepiece of the Singapore Sports Hub project—a sports and recreation district that also incorporates nearby Singapore Indoor Stadium and other new event venues. One of the largest domed structures in the world, it features a naturally-ventilated design and a retractable roof, and has configurations for football, rugby, athletics, and cricket. The stadium served as main venue of the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, and has hosted matches for the AFF Championship in 2014, 2018, and 2021.

The Singapore Indoor Stadium, known exonymously as the Indoor Stadium, is an indoor arena located in Kallang, Singapore. It is within walking distance of the Singapore National Stadium, and collectively form a part of the wider Singapore Sports Hub. It has a maximum total capacity of 15,000 depending on configuration, with an all-seating configuration of 12,000. It regularly hosts music concerts, badminton, basketball, pro-wrestling matches, mixed martial arts events, kickboxing events, and monster truck races. The Singaporean ONE Championship regularly hosts its events here. In 2015, the Singapore Indoor Stadium sold 72,342 tickets for the entire year.Both the Stadium MRT station on the Circle line and the Tanjong Rhu MRT station on the Thomson–East Coast line enables visitors to commute to the stadium via train service. Kallang MRT station is also within reasonable distance, with full connection via sheltered walkways.

The Merdeka Bridge (Chinese: 独立桥, Malay: Jambatan Merdeka) is a vehicular and pedestrian bridge located in Kallang in the south-eastern part of Singapore. It spans the river mouths of the Kallang River and Rochor River, which empty into the Kallang Basin. Designed by R. J. Hollis-Bee of the then Public Works Department (now CPG Corporation), the bridge was officially opened on 17 August 1956. The Merdeka Bridge carries Nicoll Highway, a semi-expressway connecting Kallang with the Singapore downtown.

Tanjong Rhu (Chinese: 丹戎禺, Tamil: தஞ்சோங் ரூ) is a subzone within the planning area of Kallang, Singapore, as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). The perimeter of Tanjong Rhu is made up of Nicoll Highway in the north; Mountbatten Road and Fort Road in the east; East Coast Parkway (ECP) in the south; as well as Marina Channel and Kallang Basin in the west. Tanjong Rhu is the largest in terms of physical area among the nine subzones that make up Kallang. Consisting of residential, commercial and recreational developments, Tanjong Rhu is famous for being the location of the Singapore Sports Hub, which includes the Kallang Wave Mall, new National Stadium and the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Previously, the old National Stadium which hosted a total of 18 National Day Parades sat on the land now occupied by the new National Stadium. The former Kallang Airport once extended into this area, with part of its old runway being the modern-day Stadium Boulevard. Other sports facilities in Tanjong Rhu include the Kallang Tennis Centre, Kallang Field, Kallang Ground, Kallang Track, Kallang Netball Centre, Kallang Squash Centre and PAssion WaVe @ Marina Bay. Notable places include Kallang Theatre, Leisure Park Kallang, Mountbatten Fire Post, Katong Community Centre, Singapore Swimming Club, the Benjamin Sheares Bridge and Dunman High School, one of Singapore's leading educational institutions. Tanjong Rhu is currently served by two Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations on the Circle line: Stadium MRT station and Mountbatten MRT station. In 2023, two more stations along the Thomson–East Coast line will open: Tanjong Rhu MRT station and Katong Park MRT station. Tanjong Rhu is an affluent residential neighbourhood, made up of mostly condominiums and private housing along Tanjong Rhu Road. A few blocks of public housing built by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) exist along Kampong Arang Road and Kampong Kayu Road. These residential estates are connected to the Singapore Sports Hub via Stadium Way, across the Geylang River.

Jalan Benaan Kapal (Chinese: 惹兰百纳安克巴) is a minor road in Kallang, Singapore. Running along the northern bank of the Geylang River near to the river mouth at Kallang Basin, Jalan Benaan Kapal is within the close proximity of the Singapore Sports Hub, Leisure Park Kallang, Kallang Theatre and Stadium MRT station.

Tanjong Rhu MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit station on the Thomson–East Coast line in Kallang, Singapore. The station will be situated at the traffic junction of Tanjong Rhu Road and Tanjong Rhu Place, near the condominiums such Pebble Bay and Casuarina Cove. It also provides access to the Singapore Sports Hub via the Tanjong Rhu Suspension Bridge. First announced in 2014, construction of the station started in 2016. It is expected to be opened along with the Phase 4 stations of the TEL in 2024.
