Sayyid Yahya Murtuza Mosque

Gani Mammadov residence (Azerbaijani: Qəni Məmmədovun evi ) is a former residential building located in Icherisheher – the historical district of Baku, on 45 Asaf Zeynalli Str. It is considered an architectural monument of local importance.

The Administration of the State Historical-Architectural Reserve "Icherisheher" was established by presidential order No. 629, dated February 10, 2005, under the Ministers’ Cabinet of Azerbaijan. This Administration was created to integrate the functions and powers of both central and local executive authorities, aiming to preserve, investigate, and ensure the restoration of historical monuments and the architectural-urban planning complex within the Icherisheher (Icherisheher) territory.

The Sheikh Ibrahim Mosque (Azerbaijani: Şeyx İbrahim Məscidi) is a historical mosque, located on Asaf Zeynalli Street, in the Old City of Baku, in Azerbaijan. Completed in the 15th century, the mosque was designated as an important immovable historical and cultural monument in Azerbaijan by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on August 2, 2001, with the number 132. During the Soviet occupation, worship in the mosque was halted. Currently, the building of the mosque houses a madrasa, where educational activities are conducted, located near the Jumu'ah Mosque.

Muhammad Mosque or Siniggala Mosque is the mosque built in the 11th century in Old City, Baku, Azerbaijan. The mosque is also known as Siniggala, after the name of its minaret – Siniggala (“damaged tower”). The mosque acquired its second name in 1723, when military squadron of Russian Army, consisting of 15 warships and led by Admiral Matyushkin, approached the city from seaside and demanded its surrender during the Russo-Persian War (1722-1723). Russian warships began to bomb the city after the refusal to surrender. One of the Russian shells hit the minaret of Muhammad Mosque and damaged it. A stormy wind then blew the Russian ships further out to sea. The population of the city interpreted the wind as a divine scourge sent to the occupants. From that time until the middle of the 19th century, the minaret of the mosque wasn’t reconstructed. It remained a symbol of the persistence and courage of the defendants of the tower.It is the first building in Azerbaijan, which is related to Islam and dated for its architectural ligature.

The House of Ramazanovs (Azerbaijani: Ramazanovların evi) is a 19th-century building located in the Old City of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The building was completed in 1895 by order of merchant Haji Mammadkarim Ramazanov, designed in the National Romantic style by an unknown architect.

The Khidir Mosque (Azerbaijani: Xıdır Məscidi) is a former mosque, located on Muslim Magomayev street, in the Old City of Baku, in Azerbaijan. Completed in the 14th century, the building was registered as a national architectural monument by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated August 2, 2001, No. 132.

The Governor's House in Baku, Azerbaijan, was the Governor's abode in Baku. It was built in 1865–1867. Then, businessman Seyid Mirbabayev bought the building, leased it to the governors of the Russian Empire as the first official residence for this position. When the governor first moved from Shamakhi to Baku, no building in the city had been designated for him.

The Ashura Mosque is a mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan. It was founded in 1169 by the master Najaf Ashur son of Ibrahim. It is located in the Asaf Zeynalli Street. The mosque is frequently called the ‘Lezgin Mosque’. The second name of the mosque is connected with the oil boom of the 19th century. As a result of this event a large inflow of labour was observed in Baku, including from Dagestan. This mosque was used by Lezgin workers during religious ceremonies.The shape of the Ashura Mosque is parallelepiped. There are two small windows on the southern face of the building. The entrance of the mosque is small and arch-shaped which leads to the single chamber prayer room. In the year of 1970, the mosque underwent restoration works and after reconstruction archaeological excavations discovered two semicircular arches belongs to the Sassanids period in Azerbaijan. These findings are in the southern part of the mosque building.

Tahir Salahov's house-museum – Memorial museum of Azerbaijani artist, Hero of Socialist Labor, USSR and Azerbaijan State Prize laureate, People's Artist of the USSR, Professor Tahir Salahov. The museum is located in Ilyas Afandiyev Street, close to "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve.

The Beyler Mosque is a historical and architectural monument which is located in the city of Baku, in a historical part of Icherisheher (Old City), opposite the “Murad” Gate of the Shirvanshah Palace Complex. According to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan on historical and cultural monuments, the Beyler Mosque has been included to the list of historical and cultural monument of national importance.

Museum of Sacred Relics (Azerbaijani: Müqəddəs Əmanətlər Muzeyi) is a museum located in the Beylar Mosque, in Icherisheher. The museum, which began to operate in the mosque after restoration and conservation, displays samples of Koran, a sacred relic of the Islamic religion, old books from various times, as well as samples of applied art related to worship.

The Gileyli Mosque (Azerbaijani: Gileyli Məscidi) or Jomard Garay Mosque (Azerbaijani: Comərd Gəray Məscidi) is a mosque, located on Mirza Mansur street in the Old City of Baku in Azerbaijan. Completed in 1309, the building was registered as a national architectural monument by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on August 2, 2001, No. 132.
