Furuset is an Oslo Metro station in the Furuset borough. It is the penultimate station on the Furuset Line, between Lindeberg and Ellingsrudåsen. The station is located under a fairly large shopping centre, and there is also a small bus terminal above the station. Architects were Økaw Arkitekter. Furuset was opened 19 February 1978 when the line was extended from Trosterud. It was the end station until 8 November 1981 when the line was completed to Ellingsrudåsen.

Furuset Forum is an indoor sports arena located in the eastern parts of Oslo, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 2,050 and was opened 1998, replacing the earlier arena, which was built in 1979. Its main focus is ice hockey, but also regular indoor sports facilities currently utilized by Handball, Floorball and more. Located in Søren Bulls vei, it is within proximity of the underground trains. The facility is also equipped with three dedicated parking spots for people with disabilities and has a cafeteria where traditional Norwegian waffles and soft drinks can be purchased. It is the home of Furuset ice hockey team, the club behind names like Bjørn "Botta" Skaare, Petter Sæther and Jon Warset. During the construction of Nye Jordal Amfi, Vålerenga Ishockey will be using Furuset Forum as their temporary home arena. Due to this, the capacity of the arena was expanded, from 1450 to 2050.

Furuset Aktivitetspark (literally Furuset Activity Park) is a park in the neighborhood of Furuset in Oslo, Norway. It opened in November 2008. It was created as part of an initiative to develop the Grorud Valley under the auspices of Oslo Municipality and the national authorities.The park is located less than 200 m (660 ft) southwest of the Furuset Shopping Centre (Furuset Senter). Extending over 25.4 acres (10.3 ha), it is operated by the municipality for recreational purposes. Facilities include climbing nets, roundabouts, fitness equipment, a 40 x 60 metre (130 x 200 ft) soccer pitch with artificial grass, a beach volleyball court, a gravel running track, a circular labyrinth, and a playground. In winter there is a skating rink where it is possible to rent ice skates.

Baitun Nasr Mosque (Norwegian: Baitun Nasr moské) also known as the Furuset Mosque is an Ahmadi Muslim mosque in Furuset in the borough of Alna, northeast of Oslo, Norway. The mosque is the largest in the country, and can accommodate up to 5,000 people. The mosque has one dome and one minaret on the south side and the complex is located near E6, the country's main north–south highway.

The Grorud Valley (Norwegian: Groruddalen) is a valley and urban area or suburb in the northeastern part of Oslo, the capital of Norway. Four of Oslo's boroughs lie within the Grorud Valley; Bjerke to the west, Alna to the south, Grorud to the north, and Stovner to the east. The name Groruddalen has been in use at least since the mid-19th century. The current use of the name Groruddalen was coined in 1960 to describe the area covered by the local newspaper Akers Avis Groruddalen, until then named Akers avis. Before 1960, this area was known as Akersdalen, whilst the name Groruddalen was user for the river valley from lake Alnsjøen along Alna River to Bryn.The population of the Grorud Valley is around 140,000 (approximately a fifth of the population of Oslo). The main population centers are on the valley sides, close to the forest of Lillomarka and Østmarka. The valley basin has fewer houses but a fair amount of industry. Thanks to large scale urbanization throughout the valley in the 1960s and 1970s, it was transformed from agricultural to suburbian landscape. Generally the neighborhoods are well maintained and there are recreational facilities and open spaces in the Grorud Valley.The Grorud Valley is served by several motorways and rail lines running along the valley. In the south of the valley is the European route E6 highway and the subway line Furusetbanen. The central valley is served by Norwegian Route 163 (Østre Aker vei) as well as Hovedbanen rail line. The north side is served by Norwegian Route 4 (Trondheimsveien) and the subway line Grorudbanen.

Furuset kulturpark is a park in the neighborhood of Furuset in Oslo, Norway. It opened in May 2009 at a cost of NOK 5.6 million.The 15.2 acre park is operated by the municipality and is used for recreational purposes, with a pedestrian and bicycle paths and a recreational area. Furuset Church (Furuset Kirke) is in the vicinity. In the park there is a field of flowers and flowering trees and a pond. In the summer months, goats from Nordre Lindeberg 4H-farm are let out to graze in a paddock in the park.

Furuset Church is a church that was consecrated in 1980. The church is located in the neighborhood of Furuset in Oslo, Norway. In the same area was a church in the Middle Ages, from which keys of iron were found, are preserved and placed in the present church.The church is built in brick and has 600 seats spread over several rooms that can be joined or separated by sliding doors. Downstairs there is a meeting room. The altarpiece in the church room, made by Gunnar Torvund, is in wood with a Christ motif in bronze. It has carved biblical and religious motifs. The church organ, which has 18 voices, was built by organ builder Eystein Gangfløt in 1982. The church has a steep roof and a separate bell tower of bricks and panels, where there are two church bells.Furuset Church is listed by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage.

Grorud Station (Norwegian: Grorud stasjon) is a railway station on the Trunk Line located in the Grorud borough of Oslo, Norway. Situated 10.50 kilometers (6.52 mi) from Oslo Central Station, it consists of three tracks with a side platforms and an island platform. Grorud is served by the L1 line of the Norwegian State Railways's Oslo Commuter Rail. The station was opened on 1 September 1854 and is one of Norway's nine first stations. The original building, designed by Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and Wilhelm von Hanno, burned down in 1862. It was replaced by the current station in Swiss chalet style, which was completed in 1865.

Høybråten Church (Norwegian: Høybråten kirke) is a church dating from 1932 in Oslo, Norway. It was originally a burial chapel at a cemetery which was consecrated in 1929. However, the church was later rebuilt in 1932, and in 1966 it attained the status of a parish church. One of the largest cemeteries in Oslo still surrounds the church. The bell tower is located in the middle of the ridge turret. The church bells are produced by Olsen Nauen bell foundry in Tønsberg. The altarpiece is a mosaic that was created in 1955 by Per Vigeland. The church organ at the organ loft is made by Jørgensens Orgelfabrikk (1974). By the church is a memorial of local casualties during World War II, created by Dagfinn Hermansen and unveiled in 1947. Høybråten Parish House was built near the church, and was finished before Christmas 2002.Høybråten Church is a heritage site and is registered in the Cultural Heritage monument data base of Norway.

Haugenstua Station (Norwegian: Haugenstua holdeplass) is a railway station on the Trunk Line located in the Haugenstua neighborhood of Oslo, Norway. Situated 12.09 kilometers (7.51 mi) from Oslo Central Station, it consists of two side platforms along a double tracked line and a disused station building. Haugenstua is served by the L1 line of the Norwegian State Railways's Oslo Commuter Rail. The station was opened on 1 December 1937 and received a major renovation in 2007. It has about 3,200 daily passengers.

Furuset is residential and suburban area, situated in the northeast of Oslo, Norway. It was a separate borough of Oslo up to January 1, 2004, when it became part of the new borough of Alna. Furuset is a suburb in eastern Groruddalen, consisting of both residential blocks and houses. Furuset Church (Furuset Kirke) was built during 1980. The church belongs to Ellingsrud Furuset parish and Østre Aker deanery. The church is located at Ulsholtveien 37, just south of Furuset Cultural Park (Furuset kulturpark).

Høybråten is a residential area in the north-eastern part (Stovner bydel) of Norway's capital Oslo. Høybråten has its own church, schools and railway station.
