Baku Olympic Stadium (Azerbaijani: Bakı Olimpiya Stadionu), is a stadium, designed and constructed to meet the international standards for stadiums set by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). It is the largest stadium in Azerbaijan. Construction of the 225,000-square-meter stadium on a 650,000-square-meter site was completed in February 2015. The six-storey, 65.7 meter structure near Boyukshor Lake, Baku, Azerbaijan, opened on 6 March 2015. The main tenant of the stadium is Azerbaijan's national football team, who moved from their previous home at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. In June 2015 the stadium served as the main venue for the European Games, hosting the opening and closing ceremonies, and the athletic games. The venue hosted three group games and a quarterfinal at the UEFA Euro 2020. A green area is being developed around the stadium, which is accessible via public transport.

The Olympic Village (Azerbaijani: Olimpik kənd) or Athletes Village (Azerbaijani: Atletlər kəndi), is a residential area in Baku, Azerbaijan. Although it was initially constructed as a residential area, after its opening, it served as an Olympic Village, dedicated for 2015 European Games and 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.

The National Gymnastics Arena is an indoor arena in Baku, Azerbaijan. The venue is mainly used for gymnastics.

Bona Dea International Hospital opened in 27 March 2018 in Baku, Azerbaijan. It consists of seven floors, with an area of 37,500 m². The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva.

The Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery (Azerbaijani: Heydər Əliyev adına Bakı Neft Emalı Zavodu) is an oil refinery located in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is currently the only oil refinery in Azerbaijan, capable of producing about 120,000 barrels (19,000 m3) of refined products per day. The refinery meets the entire domestic demand for petroleum products and exports more than 40% of the products. The plant processes 15 different products including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, black oil, petroleum coke, asphalt, lubricants etc. It is owned and operated by SOCAR, which is the national oil company of the Azerbaijan Republic.

SOFAZ Tower is a multi-story building located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. This new skyscraper, the new administrative building of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), is a unique project that incorporates the latest technological innovations that are in line with the highest international standards and elements of the 9 carpet schools in Azerbaijan. To build a new administrative building of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) under the Order No. 367s of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 29, 2009, 0.64 hectares of land in 6th Kondalan Street, Nizami district, were transferred to the balance of the Fund. On that day, President Ilham Aliyev attended the solemn laying ceremony of his foundation. On December 20, 2011, N.V. Besix S.A. a bilateral agreement on construction was signed with the company-builder [1]. After that, the active phase of the construction of the SOFAZ Tower building started. N.V. Besix S.A. the company won the tender as a result of the procurement tender following Article 48 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On public procurement" based on the agreement of the State Procurement Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and on December 20, 2011, the State Oil Fund and Besix-Az Besix consortium a relevant procurement contract was signed for €84,916,000. Local and foreign subcontractors have been involved in the construction of the building by the general contractor. The construction and design work of the building has been completed over 5 years. The construction project of the building was developed by the French company "Inter Art Etudes". The construction process was carried out under the auspices of the American company AECOM, "N.V. Besix SA "

Baku Tower is a skyscraper in Baku, Azerbaijan. It has 52 above ground floors and a height of 277 metres (909 ft). Construction started in 2014, and ended in 2020. Baku Tower is primarily used for office space. The address of Baku Tower is 109 Heydar Aliyev Avenue. The building is made out of reinforced concrete and steel.

ASK Arena (Azerbaijani: ASK Arena), formerly Inter Arena and Shafa Stadium is an all-seater football stadium located in Baku and the home of Azerbaijan Premier League club Keşla FK. The stadium was built on the site of Termist stadium in 2001 and has a capacity of 8,125 spectators. The stadium surrounded by practice fields, administration buildings and four-star hotel.

Balaxanı or Balakhani is a settlement and municipality near Baku, Azerbaijan, on the Absheron Peninsula. Taking advantage of the area's oil pools, a 35 m deep well was dug manually in 1593. The Russians built the first oil-distilling factory here in 1837.As of 2015 its population was 11,615.
