The Metcalfe County Kentucky Courthouse, on Public Square in Edmonton, Kentucky, was built in 1868–69. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The courthouse is a two-story common bond brick structure, Italianate in style. It was deemed significant as "one of the oldest courthouses still standing in south central Kentucky since many have been torn down and replaced by new structures. It is the unofficial symbol or logo for Metcalfe County - the one thing all Metcalfe Countians can identify with and recognize."

The Metcalfe County Jail, in Edmonton, Kentucky, is a historic jail which was built around 1861. It was used to hold prisoners until the early 1980s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It is an early Romanesque Revival-style building constructed of limestone blocks by stonemason John Wilson. It is 36.75 by 24.33 feet (11.20 m × 7.42 m) in plan. It is located on a corner of East street about 600 feet (180 m) northeast of the Metcalfe County Courthouse.

Stockton-Ray House

The Stockton-Ray House, near Edmonton in Metcalfe County, Kentucky, was built in 1808. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. Its original part is a two-story three-bay brick Hall-and-Parlor-plan structure, with end chimneys. A frame addition was added to the rear around 1865. It is located off the junction of U.S. Route 68/Kentucky Route 80 and Cumberland Parkway, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of Edmonton.
