The Sulphur Well Historic District is an 81 acres (33 ha) historic district in Sulphur Well, Kentucky which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.It is roughly bounded by Wister Wallace Road, the southern fork of the Little Barren River, Mitchell-Edwards Road, and Kentucky Route 70. The listing included 37 contributing buildings, a contributing structure, and five contributing sites.According to its nomination, "Sulphur Well is a good example of a small rural mineral water town in western Kentucky that developed between 1860 and 1949."

Alone is a ghost town and unincorporated townsite in Metcalfe County, Kentucky, along KY 1243, named by J.C. Withers. A post office was established on November 30, 1880, and D.J. Anderson was postmaster in 1887. In 1892, the Beachville Lodge No. 619 of the Masons met here every Saturday of each month. From July 1, 1914, to July 1, 1917, Alone readers were supplied by a traveling library.

The David Edwards House, off Kentucky Route 745 in Green County, Kentucky near Exie, Kentucky, was built in 1845. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.It is a one-story four-bay brick house which was assessed to have "one of the best examples in the county of Federal domestic architecture; the interior is especially significant."It was built by David Edwards, from Columbia, at age 15; David died at Battle of Shiloh in 1862 at age 32. It was later owned by George L. Edwards, a murderer and a famous outlaw of Green County.A second contributing building on the property is an "unusual" stepped chimney log smokehouse with half-dovetailing.

It has a slope-shouldered stone chimney on its north end while the stone chimney on its south end had collapsed by 1984. It has a two-tiered portico. It has Greek Revival surrounds to its windows and doors.

Its original part is a two-story three-bay brick Hall-and-Parlor-plan structure, with end chimneys. A frame addition was added to the rear around 1865. It is located off the junction of U.S. Route 68/Kentucky Route 80 and Cumberland Parkway, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of Edmonton.
