Theodore Green Apothecary, also known as Green's Pharmacy, is a historical building built in 1889 and is located at 500–502 Divisadero Street in San Francisco, California. It is listed as one of the San Francisco Designated Landmarks since 1986. The building operates as a privately-owned bar.

The William Westerfeld House is a historic building located at 1198 Fulton Street (at Scott St.) in San Francisco, California, United States, across the street from the northwest corner of Alamo Square. Constructed for German-born confectioner William Westerfeld in 1889, the home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is San Francisco Landmark Number 135.

The Mish House, also known as the Sarah Mish House, is a historic house built in 1885 and located in 1153 Oak Street in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco, California.The house is listed as a San Francisco Designated Landmark since July 6, 1974; and one of the National Register of Historic Places since May 21, 1979.

The Abner Phelps House is currently the oldest house in San Francisco, constructed in approximately 1850 by Abner Phelps and his wife Augusta Roussell with pre-constructed house parts. It is located at 1111 Oak Street just west of Divisadero Street in San Francisco's Haight Ashbury district. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is San Francisco Landmark Number 32, since 1979. The house is not open to the public and as of 2019 is the location of a private business.

Alamo Square is a residential neighborhood and park in San Francisco, California, in the Western Addition. Its boundaries are Buchanan Street on the east,Turk Street on the north, Baker Street on the west, and Page Street Street on the south. Alamo Square Park, the neighborhood's focal point and namesake, consists of four city blocks at the top of a hill overlooking much of downtown San Francisco, with a number of large and architecturally distinctive mansions along the perimeter, including the "Painted Ladies", a well-known postcard motif. The park is bordered by Hayes Street to the south, Steiner Street to the east, Fulton Street to the north, and Scott Street to the west. Named after the lone cottonwood tree ("alamo" in Spanish), Alamo Hill, was a watering hole on the horseback trail from Mission Dolores to the Presidio in the 1800s. In 1856, Mayor James Van Ness created a 12.7 acres (5.1 ha) park surrounding the watering hole, creating "Alamo Square".

The William McKinley Memorial, is a statue honoring the assassinated United States President William McKinley which stands at the foot of the Panhandle Park, San Francisco, California, facing the DMV across Baker Street. Created by Robert Ingersoll Aitken (1878–1949) in 1904, the Monument was dedicated in 1903 by President Theodore Roosevelt, who succeeded McKinley after his assassination in 1901. The monument was unveiled on November 24, 1904 at the entrance to the Golden Gate Park panhandle. Over 5,000 people came to the unveiling. Speeches were made by former Mayor James D. Phelan, Mayor Eugene Schmitz, John McNaught, and others.

The Third Baptist Church, formerly the First Colored Baptist Church, is an African American Baptist church founded in 1852, and located in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco, California. It is the city of San Francisco's oldest African-American church. The church occupied several spaces in San Francisco over the course of its history. Since 1976, Rev. Amos C. Brown has been the pastor.The Third Baptist Church Complex is listed as a San Francisco Designated Landmark since November 15, 2017.

First United Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), located in San Francisco, California. Formed in 1886, it was the first Lutheran congregation in California to use English as its primary language for worship. In 1990, First United was suspended, and later expelled from the ELCA for ordaining an openly gay pastor, against the wishes of the denomination. The ELCA Churchwide Assembly voted to approve openly gay clergy in 2009, and in 2012, First United rejoined the denomination. Presently a "church without walls," First United meets in St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, located at 2097 Turk Street, near the main campus of the University of San Francisco.

Ida B. Wells Continuation High School is a public high school in San Francisco, California located near the Hayes Valley neighborhood. The school belongs to the San Francisco Unified School District.

The Jewish Community High School of the Bay (commonly known as JCHS) is a coeducational, college preparatory high school located in the Western Addition Neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Founded in 2001, JCHS is a pluralistic Jewish high school.

Archbishop's Mansion is a historic house built in 1904 and located at 1000 Fulton Street in the Alamo Square neighborhood in San Francisco, California. The mansion was built for Patrick William Riordan, the second Roman Catholic Archbishop of San Francisco.The house is one of the 276 properties named as part of the "Alamo Square Historic District"; designated by the city of San Francisco in July 1984 (planning code, article 10).
