Oldbury and Seal Chart

Oldbury Camp (also known as Oldbury hill fort) is the largest Iron Age hill fort in south-eastern England. It was built in the 1st century BC by Celtic British tribes on a hilltop west of Ightham, Kent, in a strategic location overlooking routes through the Kentish Weald. The fort comprises a bank and ditch enclosing an area of about 50 hectares (120 acres), with entrances at the north-east and south ends. Wooden gates barred the entrances. Archaeological excavations carried out in the 1930s and 1980s found that the hill fort's interior had probably not been permanently occupied. It had been abandoned around 50 BC and the north-east gate had been burned down, possibly due to a Roman invasion. The wooded southern part of Oldbury Camp is now owned and managed by the National Trust and is open to the public.

Seal Chart is a village 2 miles (3 km) east of Sevenoaks in Kent, England. It is within the Sevenoaks local government district. It is in the civil parish of Seal.

The Oldbury rock shelters are a complex of Middle Palaeolithic sites situated on the slopes of Oldbury hillfort near Ightham in the English county of Kent.They were occupied by Mousterian flint tool manufacturers around 50,000 years ago and examples of their characteristic bout-coupé handaxes were found there during excavations in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The site is open to the public and owned by the National Trust.

Ivy Hatch Nature Reserve in Ivy Hatch, north of Tonbridge in Kent, is a 0.5-hectare (1.2-acre) reserve managed by the Kent Wildlife Trust.Several streams run through this small site, and there are many wetland plants, including sphagnum moss. There are many common spotted orchids, and trees such as alders and hazels.There is access from Ismays Road.

One Tree Hill and Bitchet Common is a 79.2-hectare (196-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Sevenoaks in Kent. It is in Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and One Tree Hill is managed by the National TrustThis site has mixed woodland on the Lower Greensand, some of it of ancient origin. The habitats are varied, including acidic soils on Bitchet Common and damp, base-rich soils in Martins Wood. There are several rare plants and invertebrates.The site is in several blocks crossed by public footpaths.

Ightham Mote (), at Ightham, is a medieval moated manor house in Kent, England. The architectural writer John Newman describes it as "the most complete small medieval manor house in the county".Ightham Mote and its gardens are owned by the National Trust and are open to the public. The house is a Grade I listed building, and parts of it are a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

The Old House is a Grade II listed public house at Redwell Lane, Ightham Common, Kent TN15 9EE.It is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors.It dates to the 17th century.

Heaverham is a hamlet in the Sevenoaks district, in the county of Kent, England. Nearby is the country estate of St Clere.

St Clere is a Grade I listed 17th-century country house in Kemsing, Kent, England. The house is built in brick in three storeys plus basement and attic. It has a five bay front facade with a 19th-century central porch and a parapet. The high pitched hipped slated roof is surmounted by a row of linked tall brick chimneys. Extensions have been built to the side. Within the house is a chimneypiece by Sir John Soane, which was brought from the old Bank of England.

Sevenoaks Prep School is a co-educational, day preparatory school for 385 pupils aged 2–13 in Sevenoaks in south-east England. The school is situated on the Sackville estate, on grounds bordering the park of Knole House. It was founded in 1919 and has been at its current site since 1968.

Godden Green is a hamlet 1 mile (2 km) east of Sevenoaks in Kent, England. It is within the civil parish of Seal, in Sevenoaks District, on the eastern edge of Knole Park. There is a large green, and a Shepherd Neame public house, the Buck's Head. The village is in the ecclesiastical parish of St Peter and St Paul, Seal, the parish extends southward and is bounded by Bitchet Green Road at Fawke Common.
