Centerton is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. Located west of Bentonville on Highway 102, Centerton has grown from a railroad stop and fruit orchard community in the early 20th century into a suburban bedroom community within the rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas (NWA) region. The city's population has grown from 491 in 1990 to 16,244 in 2019. Centerton is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in Arkansas and consistently ranks amongst the safest cities in the state.

The Hiwasse Bank Building is a historic commercial building in the rural community of Hiwasse, Arkansas. It is located on Arkansas Highway 279, a short way south of its junction with Arkansas Highway 72, abutting a similar but slightly newer commercial building. The building is a single-story brick building, with its front facade divided into three sections by iron stanchions. The left two bays have wood-frame windows in them, that on the right, the entrance flanked by sidelight windows and topped by a transom. Above these is a brick panel defined by a frame of corbelled brick. The interior has retained elements of its original pressed metal ceiling. Built c. 1890, it represents (despite deteriorating condition) the best of commercial architecture of that period in the small community.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Hiwasse was an unincorporated census-designated place in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 497. It is the location of (or is the nearest community to) Hiwasse Bank Building, which is located at Main St., AR 279 and Banks House, which is located on AR 72 west of Hiwasse. Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Hiwasse faced a great division in 2007–2008, when two groups faced off over the incorporation of Hiwasse. In the end, the voters decided not to incorporate, with adjacent Gravette annexing the community in 2012.

The museum was founded in 2006 by David Bogle, a local businessman and registered member of the Cherokee Nation.The Museum of Native American History’s mission is to provide a place where visitors can experience the diverse Indigenous cultures of the Americas through pre-historic and historic art. The current vision of the museum is, "To advance understanding of human experience within these cultures and provide a space of explorative imagination for all who visit. The galleries are set chronologically; the art and tools Indigenous peoples leave behind continue to speak their stories and history. To better understand their lifestyle, hardships, successes, and inspiration, MONAH invites visitors to open their minds to discover these diverse cultures’ creations. After the self-guided tour ends and the museum store begins, visitors continue to see how Native Americans express their stories through the modern-day arts."The museum features artifacts from across the Americas covering 24,000 years of history. The museum chooses to focus on the broader history of Native Americans as a whole, rather than any specific tribe, and is laid out in roughly chronological order beginning around 22,000 BC and ending around 1930 AD. The museum offers free admission and was expected to welcome 34,000 guests in 2022, with indications that attendance will continue to climb in the coming years. The museum is routinely listed as the second most popular attraction in Bentonville, following Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.The museum also offers an arrowhead hunt for all ages around the teepee located on the outside grounds of the museum.

It is one of the four main cities in the three-county Northwest Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is ranked 105th in terms of population in the United States with 546,725 residents in 2020, according to the United States Census Bureau. The city itself had a population of 54,164 at the 2020 Census, an increase of 53% from the 2010 Census. Bentonville is considered to be one of the fastest growing cities in the state and consistently ranks amongst the safest cities in Arkansas. It is included in the Fayetteville–Springdale–Rogers Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Bella Vista Water Tank is a historic water tank at the junction of Cedar Crest and Cunningham Drives in Bella Vista, Arkansas. This native stone tank was built in 1927 by the Linebarger Brothers, under the supervision of Wallard Braithwaite, to store water for summer cottages on the west side of Lake Bella Vista and later the Sunset Hotel. It is significant as the only known water tank of its type in Benton County, Arkansas, and for its association with the early development of Bella Vista.From 1927 to 1952, water from the Big Spring east of the lake, 1.5 miles away and 310 feet lower, was pumped by hydraulic rams to the tank and then flowed by gravity to the cottages and hotel. The tank was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, and is now owned by the Bella Vista Historical Society. A new roof was constructed in 2016 by the Benton County Sheriff's Work Detail Team, supervised by Deputy Mark Wibert, with funding supplied by a Benton County Historic Preservation Commission Grant.

The Banks House is a historic house on Arkansas Highway 72 west of Hiwasse, Arkansas. Built in 1900, it is a 1+1⁄2-story wood frame rendition of a double pen form more often found in log construction. It has weatherboard siding, a side gable main roof, and a wide single story front porch with round columns and a hip roof. A chimney rises at the eastern end, and an ell extends the house to the rear. It is a well-preserved local example of vernacular frontier architecture.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Maxwell-Hinman House is a historic house at 902 NW Second Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. It is an elaborate L-shaped Italianate brick house, supposedly built in 1881 by a returning Civil War veteran. It has decorative brickwork brackets, cornice, corner quoining, and window hoods. The only significant woodwork on the exterior are the porch columns which have ornate scrollwork capitals. The high quality work and unusual decorative elements suggest the house was built by workmen from outside the area.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Col. Samuel W. Peel House is a historic house museum, also known as the Peel Mansion Museum, at 400 South Walton Boulevard in Bentonville, Arkansas. It is a two-story stuccoed brick masonry structure, with a three-story hip-roofed tower at the center of its front facade. The house was built c. 1875 by Samuel W. Peel, a prominent local politician and businessman. After serving in the Confederate Army in the American Civil War, Peel studied law and practiced for many years in Bentonville. He served several terms in the United States Congress, and helped establish the First National Bank of Bentonville. Despite later alterations, the house is one of the finest Italianate mansions in the region.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The house is open for tours year-round, with a limited schedule in January and February.
