Waterend is a hamlet located on the A40 between Piddington and Stokenchurch in Buckinghamshire, England. Together with the adjacent hamlets of Horsleys Green, Beacon's Bottom and Studley Green, it is in an area known collectively as 'Studley Green'. It is within the Chiltern Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It featured in a 1987 episode of the BBC motoring magazine show Top Gear, which looked at safety on rural roads. Waterend was chosen for the abnormally high accident rate in both the hamlet itself and the surrounding roads.

Radnage is a village and civil parish in the Buckinghamshire district of Buckinghamshire, England. It is in the Chiltern Hills about two miles north east of Stokenchurch and six miles WNW of High Wycombe. The parish is set in folds of the Chiltern Hills to the south of Bledlow Ridge next to the border with Oxfordshire. Although not a large parish, the residential areas known as the city, Bennett End and Town End, are separate hamlets. Radnage (also spelled Radeneach, Rodenache etc. in old documents) meant ‘red oak’ in Old English.

Beacon's Bottom, also known as Bacon's Bottom, is a hamlet on the A40 between Piddington and Stokenchurch in England. Until 1895 it was administratively part of Oxfordshire, and was transferred to Buckinghamshire with its parent parish Stokenchurch in 1896. It was one of the principal sites of High Wycombe's 19th Century chair-making industry, known locally as bodging.

St Mary the Virgin is the parish church of Radnage in Buckinghamshire, situated towards the northeastern edge of the village. The church is part of the West Wycombe benefice, the building is Grade 1 listed.

Yoesden, often known as Yoesden Bank, is a 13-hectare (32-acre) nature reserve in Bledlow Ridge in Buckinghamshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. It is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The site has areas of woodland and grassland. The steeply sloping chalk meadow has many species of butterfly, including three scarce blue species, the Adonis, chalkhill and small blue. There are flowers such as common spotted and fragrant orchids. Beech woodland above the chalk bank supports great spotted woodpeckers and red kites, and lower woodland has beech and yews.There is access by a footpath from Chinnor Road near the Boot public house. The Chiltern Way goes through the site.

Horsleys Green (often incorrectly referred to as Horsley's Green) is a hamlet located on the A40 between Piddington and Stokenchurch in Buckinghamshire, England. It consists of a few houses situated either side of a narrow lane.

Studley Green is a hamlet located on the A40 between Piddington and Stokenchurch in Buckinghamshire, England. The term 'Studley Green' is also used to collectively refer to the four adjacent hamlets of Studley Green, Horsleys Green, Beacon's Bottom and Waterend.

Bottom Wood is a 14.5-hectare (36-acre) woodland in the English county of Buckinghamshire, located just north of the A40 near the hamlet of Studley Green. Since 1984, the wood has been owned by the Chiltern Society, which manages it as a nature reserve with the help of volunteers. Although an ancient woodland, most of the trees in the wood date from the end of the 1940s or later, as much of the wood was felled during the Second World War to produce Bryant and May matches. The wood is now home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including rare species of butterfly and moth.

Bledlow Ridge is a village in the civil parish of Bledlow-cum-Saunderton in Buckinghamshire, England. In 2004 the population was 940. It is situated in the Chiltern Hills, about 4 miles SSW of Princes Risborough and on the road between the High Wycombe and Chinnor. Originally the hamlet was within the ecclesiastical parish of Bledlow. It gained separate status in 1868 when the new chapel, dedicated to St Paul, was constructed. In common with other similar villages in the Chiltern Hills properties have become increasingly sought after due to its location and the improvement in rail and road connections to London. It has a recently refurbished village shop, The Country Store Kedai, and a local school, Bledlow Ridge School. Bledlow Ridge has a number of clubs including the youth club "Bridge", Bledlow Ridge Lawn Tennis Club, and Bledlow Ridge Cricket Club. As well as the corner shop, there is also an Equestrian Centre, children's playground, tennis courts and a cricket pitch. Yoesden, south of Chinnor Road, is a nature reserve managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.

Stokenchurch is a village and civil parish in south-west Buckinghamshire, England. It is located in the Chiltern Hills, about 3 miles (5 km) south of Chinnor in Oxfordshire and 6 miles (10 km) west of High Wycombe. Stokenchurch is a commuter village, served by junction 5 of the M40 motorway to London, Oxford and Birmingham. The Stokenchurch BT Tower, to the west of the village, is a highly visible landmark on the edge of the Chilterns and pinpoints the village's location for miles ahead.

Lodge Hill is a 31.8-hectare (79-acre) Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Bledlow Ridge in Buckinghamshire. The local planning authorities are Wycombe District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council. The site is in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and The Ridgeway long-distance footpath crosses it.There is evidence of prehistoric activity on the site. There are two late Neolithic or early Bronze Age round barrows, with fragments of Beaker culture pottery. There is also the remains of an Iron Age settlement.The site is chalk grassland and scrub which is notable for its invertebrates, including butterflies. It has a rare snail, Abide secale, and populations of badgers and slowworms.
