The Alice Lord Goodine House is a historic house at 1304 Scott Highway (United States Route 302) in Groton, Vermont. It presently houses the Groton Free Public Library. The building has a complex history, and is tied to the earliest settlement period of the village. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Groton is the primary village and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Groton, Caledonia County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, the CDP had a population of 419, out of 984 in the entire town of Groton. Groton village is in southern Caledonia County, in the southeast corner of the town of Groton, along U.S. Route 302, which leads southeast 10 miles (16 km) to Wells River and southwest 20 miles (32 km) to Barre. The Wells River flows through the village, running southeast to the Connecticut River at the village of Wells River.

The J.R. Darling Store is a historic commercial building at 1334 Scott Highway (United States Route 302) in Groton, Vermont. It was built about 1895 on a site that has long housed commercial activity, and was the town's last general store. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Lind Houses are a series of seven nearly identical houses on Pleasant Street in South Ryegate, Vermont. Built about 1905, they form one of the best-preserved examples of period worker housing in the state. They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Elwin Chase House is a historic house at 366 Topsham-Corinth Road in Topsham, Vermont. Built about 1830, it is a well-preserved example of Greek Revival architecture in a rural context. It is most prominent as one of the only known sites in Vermont of the artwork drawn by Rufus Porter, who worked as an itinerant muralist around the time of the house's construction. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Topsham is a town in Orange County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,199 at the 2020 census. It contains four villages: East Topsham, Topsham Four Corners, Waits River, and West Topsham.

The Whitehill House is a historic house on Groton-Peacham Road in Ryegate, Vermont. Built in 1808, it is the oldest surviving building in Ryegate, and a distinctive example of stonework by Scottish immigrants. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Ticklenaked Pond is a lake in Caledonia County, Vermont, in the United States."Ticklenaked" is likely a corruption of the Native American (Indian) name. Historian John C. Huden wrote: It is very doubtful that this hilarious name is of Indian origin; if so, it is possibly a much modified Delaware word meaning "beaver kittens here."

The Brock Hill Schoolhouse is a historic one-room schoolhouse on North Road in rural Newbury, Vermont. Built in 1850, it is a well-preserved example of a mid-19th century schoolhouse with Greek Revival styling. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Ryegate is a town in Caledonia County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,165 at the 2020 census. The town contains the villages of South Ryegate, East Ryegate, and Ryegate Corner.

The Newbury Town House is a historic government building on Scotch Hollow Road in Newbury, Vermont. Built in 1839, it is a well-preserved and little-altered example of an early Greek Revival town hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. While no longer used for town meetings, it is still owned by the town and used for other civic purposes, included elections.

Newbury is a town in Orange County, Vermont, United States. The population was 2,293 at the 2020 census. Newbury includes the villages of Newbury, Center Newbury, West Newbury, South Newbury, Boltonville, Peach Four Corners, and Wells River.
