Batuceper railway station

Poris Station (PI) is a class III railway station located in Poris Gaga, Batuceper, Tangerang. The station, which is located at an altitude of +7 meters, is included in the Jakarta Operational Area I, is the easternmost train station in Tangerang, and only serves the KRL Commuterline route.

Al-Azhom Grand Mosque (Indonesian: Masjid Raya Al-A'zhom) is a congregational mosque in the city of Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. Opened in 2003, it is the largest mosque in Banten province and one of the largest mosques in the world in terms of the worshipper capacity.

The Tangerang prison fire was a fire that occurred in an overcrowded prison block in the city of Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia, in Greater Jakarta. The fire began at about 01:45 WIB on 8 September 2021 (18:45 UTC, 7 September) in sector C of the Tangerang prison, killing 41 inmates and injuring a further 75. More victims succumbed to their injuries on the following days, raising the death toll to a total of 49 people.

Tangerang Station (Indonesian: Stasiun Tangerang) is a railway station located in the city of Tangerang, Banten. It is the western terminus of the Duri–Tangerang railway. This station only serves commuter trains operated by Kereta Commuter Indonesia. Passengers are mainly commuters going from the suburbs in Tangerang to Jakarta.

Tangerang is also home for Soekarno–Hatta International Airport which serves the Jakarta metropolitan area and is Indonesia's main gateway. The city is an industrial and manufacturing hub on Java and is home to over 1,000 factories. Many international corporations have plants in the city. Tangerang tends to be hot and humid, with little in the way of trees or geographical features. Certain areas consist of swamps, including the areas near the Soekarno–Hatta International Airport. It's also home to Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Indonesia's largest convention and exhibition center located in BSD City. In recent years the urban expansion of Jakarta has covered Tangerang. As the result, many of its residents commute to Jakarta for work or vice versa. Many high-class and middle-class satellite cities have been developed in Tangerang, complete with their own shopping malls, private schools and convenience centers. The government is working on expanding the toll road system to accommodate more traffic flow to and from the area. Tangerang is the corporations' alternative to move or build their offices from Jakarta due to the heavy traffic and crowds, such as Unilever Indonesia, Kino Group, and Alfa Group.

Located near the river Cisadane, it is the first Indonesian museum that highlights the history and heritage of ethnic Chinese in Indonesia.Benteng Heritage Museum is housed in a traditional, vernacular Peranakan Chinese building. Built in 1684, it is one of the oldest historic structures in Tangerang, and is within walking distance of the city's oldest temple, Boen Tek Bio.

SHIA Station or Soekarno–Hatta International Airport Station (Indonesian: Stasiun Bandara Soekarno–Hatta) is a station for Soekarno–Hatta Airport Rail Link service. The station is located between Skytrain station of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Soekarno–Hatta International Airport.SHIA station is nestled in an integrated building, which can accommodate about 3500 passengers. The station has two platforms, both equipped with full-height platform screen doors. There are a passenger lobby, four escalators and two elevators placed across the terminal building. The station is equipped with facilities such as ticket counters (only Debit or Credit Card is acceptable), public spaces, electronic gates, waiting rooms, commercial rooms, restrooms, prayer rooms, the rail administrator room, and a SkyTrain station. The station yard can accommodate four trains of 10 carriages. The ground floor of the building is fully used for the Soekarno-Hatta Airport railway station. The SkyTrain station is located on the upper level.
