Middelheim Open Air Sculpture Museum (Dutch Beeldentuin Middelheim Museum) is a sculpture park of 30 acres in the park part of the Middelheim Nachtegalen Park at Antwerp. The Middelheim Museum collection has approximately 400 works of art on display. These include around 215 sculptures, featuring artists such as Carl Andre, Franz West, Auguste Rodin and many more. Along with the addition of new works every year, the museum invites contemporary artists to engage in an artistic conversation with works part of the permanent collection and the environment surrounding them, leading to the establishment of performances and exhibitions and by various kinds of artists. Works such as ones by Roman Signer and Ai Weiwei are also created specifically for the museum. (“Middelheim Museum”) The museum includes the Braem pavilion, designed by the Belgian architect Renaat Braem. He is seen as a significant symbol for post-war architecture in Belgium and aimed to blur the boundaries between architecture and art. Reflective of this, Braem aimed to design the pavilion to incorporate a sculptural quality to organically merge it with the park’s landscape. The design developed into a set of closed pavilions and open patios, formulated “as nature would”, with an accessible entrance and a distinct roof structure to create an ever-changing spatial experience augmented by the flow of light through the pavilion. The rudimentary base was placed in 1969, and the pavilion was then officially introduced at the eleventh Biennial in 1971. Plans for construction around the pavilion were left unfinished with a fountain by Olivier Strebelle being the only trace, which speaks to the idea of merging architecture with nature as it embraces the idea of imperfection. (“The Braem Pavilion”) Another fountain by the Belgian artist Philippe Van Snick is placed in front of the pavilion. (“Middelheim Museum”) The Braem Pavilion is exclusive to fragile works from the permanent collection, such as ones by Alberto Giacometti, Jean Arp, and Wim Delvoye, to maintain them suitably. The works exhibited at the pavilion change twice a year. (“Middelheim Museum”) A 750-meter pathway begins at the Braem Pavilion and runs past the Middelheim Castle and over Middelheimlaan to ‘Hortiflora’, a botanical flower garden part of Nachtegalenpark until it was added to the Middelheim Museum in 2012. With this inclusion, the museum covers more than thirty hectares of park and exhibition area. (“Middelheim Museum”) The merging of art and nature is a significant aspect of the museum. This is seen through the displayed works, the kinds of exhibitions curated and the pavilions and structure of the open-aired museum itself. In the works exhibited, their placement is just as important as the works themselves because the intermingling of the works with their natural surroundings transforms and augments the experience of the viewer.

The Craeybeckx tunnel (in Dutch Craeybeckxtunnel and fully Lode Craeybeckxtunnel) is a road tunnel in Antwerp built in 1981 to reduce the noise from the traffic, for the benefit of the Sint-Augustinus hospital and the Middelheim hospital. The tunnel is 1600 m long and is the widest in Belgium. The construction is named after Lode Craeybeckx, the mayor of Antwerp between 1947 and 1976. Approximately 120.000 vehicles pass the tunnel every day.

Berchem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbɛrxɛm] (listen)) is a southern district of the municipality and city of Antwerp in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Berchem is located along the old Grote Steenweg (Dutch for 'Big Paved Road') that has connected Brussels to Antwerp for several centuries; the town borders the districts of Deurne, Borgerhout, Wilrijk and Antwerp and the municipality of Mortsel. Berchem itself consists of three quarters, Oud Berchem, Groenenhoek and Nieuw Kwartier. The 'Ring', Antwerp's circular motorway which follows the track of the former city defense walls, cuts Berchem in two parts, separating the urban inner city area of Oud-Berchem (intra muros) from the more residential and suburban areas Groenenhoek, Pulhof and Nieuw Kwartier (extra muros).

Nachtegalen Park (Nightingale Park in (in Dutch)) is a park located in the Antwerp, Belgium municipality of Wilrijk. It served as the archery venue for the 1920 Summer Olympics. During World War II, the park was headquarters for the 89th German Army Corps, then it became command post of the 719th Infantry Division. The park is home to the Atlantic Wall & Air War Bunker Museum.

The Antwerp University Association (in Dutch: Associatie Universiteit & Hogescholen Antwerpen or AUHA) is a Belgian association for higher education, with members located primarily in Antwerp. The leading institute is the University of Antwerp.

The Wezenberg Olympic Swimming Center is a swimming center with a 50-meter pool located on De Singel in Antwerp. The complex dates from 1973. In addition to the Olympic-size swimming pool, there is an instruction pool of 20 by 17 meters in Wezenberg and since 2015 a second 50-meter pool, not wide enough for competitions, but for training.

deSingel is a Belgian arts center. It is located on the Desguinlei in Antwerp. Its various stages, concert halls and exhibition spaces offer a manifold program of music, dance, theater and architecture. It is also home to the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, the Flemish Architecture Institute (VAI), the Study Center for Flemish Music (SVM), the VDAB employment initiative for theatre technicians Sabbattini, the Eastman dance company, ChampdAction, I Solisti, detheatermaker and the Spiegel String Quartet.

De Koninck Brewery (Brouwerij De Koninck) is a Belgian brewery founded in 1833 and based in Antwerp. The glass in which De Koninck's flagship beer is served is called a bolleke, although this term is most colloquially used to refer to a glass filled with the beer itself and is the way the beer is ordered in bars. The brewery is known for its flagship beer, De Koninck, which is a pale ale that is brewed using a blend of Belgian malts, hops and yeast. The brewery also produces other beers like "Bolleke", "Blonde" and "Bob". The brewery uses traditional Belgian brewing methods, including open fermentation and aging the beer in oak casks. The brewery is also a popular tourist destination, and offers tours of the brewery and tastings of its beers.

Wilrijkse Plein Antwerp is a sports and leisure venue located in Antwerp, in Belgium. It is currently mainly used for field hockey matches and matches organized for Men's and Women's Euros. The stadium accommodates more or less 7,000 people.Its location is Vogelzanglaan 6 at Wilrijk in the province of Antwerp. It was in 2013 that the stadium was built.On June 24, 2021, the Center of Excellence was officially inaugurated by the VHL (Vlaamse Hockey Liga) in collaboration with Sport Vlaanderen and the city of Antwerp.In the past, the stadium has hosted the following major tournaments: Men's and Women's Euros in 2019

The BP Building, previously also known as the Axa-Royale Belge Tower, is a suspended-structure office building in Antwerp, Belgium, designed by the Belgian architect Léon Stynen. The building was completed in 1963 and features a unique cantilevered floor structure and cable supports. All of the floors are supported with external cables that are attached to roof beams: the weight of roof beams, all floors, and the external walls are carried by a center core. The building was commissioned by BP and is still referred to as the "BP Building", but is now owned by Buysse & Partners Smart Assets since 2018. Its architecture has been classified as Modernist and Brutalist.

Meisjeshuis is a former children's home located at Albert Grisarstraat in Antwerp, Belgium. Throughout the years it has also been known as Adolf Stappaertsgasthuis and Algemeen Kinderziekenhuis Good-Engels.
