Bailey House (c. 1898), Station Hotel (1912–1922), and American Craftsman style Hendersonville Southern Railway Depot (1902-1904).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

North Henderson High School is a public high school located in Hendersonville, North Carolina. It is one of four public high schools located in Henderson County. North Henderson was founded in 1993, as the majority of students were moved from the now closed Edneyville High School. North is located adjacent to Apple Valley Middle school which inherited the vast majority of their students from Edneyville Junior High. As of 2016, North Henderson had 1,023 students enrolled and 64 teachers on staff. The school mascot is a Knight, and the school colors are purple and gold.

Grey Hosiery Mill, also known as Water Department-City of Hendersonville and Hold Hosiery, is a historic textile mill located at Hendersonville, Henderson County, North Carolina. It was built in 1915, with additions in 1919 and 1947. It is a one-story, brick building with large multi-pane steel sash windows and stepped gable roof with clerestory. The mill closed in 1967.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

The oldest house in the Hyman Heights–Mount Royal neighborhood is Killarney (c. 1858).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Chewning House, also known as the McCurry Hotel, Charleston Boarding House, and Claddagh Inn, is a historic hotel building located at Hendersonville, Henderson County, North Carolina. The house was built before 1906, and enlarged between 1912 and 1922 from a two-story building to the present three-story building with Classical Revival style design elements. It features a one-story hip roofed wraparound porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Waverly, also known as the Anderson Boarding House, is a historic hotel building located at Hendersonville, Henderson County, North Carolina. It was built about 1898, and is a three-story, Queen Anne style frame building. It features a two-tiered sawnwork-trimmed porch and widow's walk. The building was expanded to three stories following a fire about 1910. A one-story frame wing was added about 1940.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Brittain Creek is a stream in Henderson County, North Carolina, in the United States. It is a tributary of Mud Creek. The stream was named for James C. Brittain, a pioneer who settled along the creek. The name of the creek was long misspelled as Britton Creek until a descendant of James C. Brittain successfully appealed to the United States Board on Geographic Names in the 1980s.
