Port Moody-Coquitlam is a provincial electoral district in British Columbia, Canada established by the Electoral Districts Act, 2008. It was first contested in the 2009 general election in which BC Liberal Iain Black was elected as its MLA. Black resigned effective October 3, 2011, so he could accept a job as the president and CEO of the Vancouver Board of Trade.

Port Moody is a city in British Columbia, Canada, and a member municipality of the Metro Vancouver Regional District. It envelops the east end of Burrard Inlet and is the smallest of the Tri-Cities, bordered by Coquitlam on the east and south and by Burnaby on the west. The villages of Belcarra and Anmore, along with the rugged Coast Mountains, lie to the northwest and north, respectively. It is named for Richard Clement Moody, the first lieutenant governor of the Colony of British Columbia.

The Inlet Theatre is a proscenium theatre located at the Port Moody Civic Centre in Port Moody, British Columbia, overlooking Burrard Inlet. The theatre regularly features plays, concerts, and dance performances, as well as a host of special events including the Port Moody Canadian Film Festival each February and the Festival of the Arts each April. The theatre has up to 206 seats, with 159 permanent seats on the orchestra level, plus room for another 47 seats and wheelchairs (depending on event configuration).

Mossom Creek Hatchery is a salmon hatchery in Port Moody, British Columbia. It is a salmon enhancement project supported by Fisheries and Oceans Canada. It was started in 1976 by high school volunteers from local Centennial School in Coquitlam and teachers Ruth Foster and Rod MacVicar. They formed the Centennial School Salmon project, which is still an active club at the school. It has received much recognition for its unique and longstanding work. Ruth Foster has won a Canadian Environment Award for her work at Mossom Creek Hatchery.When the hatchery began, there were no salmon left in Mossom Creek. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers over the decades there is now a strong run of chum salmon and an increasing run of coho salmon. The hatchery also supplies fish to other streams that drain into Burrard Inlet. By reintroducing these salmon, the hatchery strengthens the surrounding ecosystem at various trophic levels. Every year the hatchery releases approximately 100,000 chum fry into the area and approximately 7,000 coho smolts. The hatchery is operated by Burrard Inlet Marine Enhancement Society, a non-profit group, and relies on volunteers year round. They also work closely with other organizations such as the Pacific WildLife Foundation and the Port Moody Ecological Society. Eggs and milt are collected from chum and coho salmon in the fall and early winter from Mossom Creek, Noons Creek (in cooperation with the Port Moody Ecological Society), and sometimes other river systems such as the Indian River. The eggs are fertilized and placed in stacked incubators until they hatch. During the winter, eggs hatch into alevins which absorb their yolk sacks to become fry. Chum are released into the streams as large fry in the spring. Coho smolts that are a year old are also released, as the coho fry must spend an extra year in the hatchery's large rearing tubs. Mossom Creek has been an absolutely pristine creek, and it is home to several other species of wildlife such as the coastal tailed frog and the American dipper. Black-tailed deer, black bear and bobcat also make their home within the watershed forest. Recently, upstream development on steep slopes in the Village of Anmore, has impacted the stream with heavy siltation. Much volunteer time has been directed at documenting and dealing with this issue. Another recent effect of upstream development can be see in recent water quality tests. These tests indicate that the levels of phosphates and nitrates have recently reached a detectable level. Mossom Creek Hatchery has achieved the "Accessibility Certified Gold" rating under the Rick Hansen foundation Accessibility Certification (RHFAC) Achieving a score of 84 out of 100 points.

Rocky Point Park, also known as Rocky Point, is situated along Burrard Inlet in Port Moody, British Columbia, next to the Port Moody Station Museum. It is 3.8 hectares in size, and is the most well-known park in Port Moody. Rocky Point has a variety of amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, splash pad, skateboard park, boat launch, hiking and cycling trails, and wildlife viewing. There is also a covered performance stage, and new warden houses have been built. The Old Mill Boat House is also located on the property, as well as a kayak and sailboat rental shack. The park is also home to one of the five Pajo's Fish and Chips locations in the Lower Mainland, as well as a new Boathouse Restaurant location. Rocky Point Ice Cream is also located on the south side of the park. Many breweries are also located across the street.Questions about shoreline erosion have also been raised, as in some areas, benches have been moved further back into the park as the shoreline fell into the inlet. Proper use of riprap may be a solution to this problem. The park hosts the Golden Spike Days festival every July to commemorate the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885. It also hosts many other events such as Canada Day.

Moody Centre station is an intermodal rapid transit station in Metro Vancouver served by both the Millennium Line—part of the SkyTrain system—and the region's West Coast Express commuter rail system. It is located in Port Moody, British Columbia, on the south side of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) tracks, at the north foot of Williams Street, approximately 200 metres (660 ft) north of St. John's Street. Moody Centre replaced the previous Port Moody station on the West Coast Express. The new station opened on December 2, 2016, along with the rest of the Evergreen Extension.

Port Moody station was a stop on the West Coast Express commuter rail line connecting Vancouver to Mission, British Columbia, Canada. The station was located on the south side of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) tracks in Port Moody, at the north foot of Williams Street, approximately 200 metres (660 ft) north of St. John's Street. The station opened in 1995, when the West Coast Express began operating. All services were operated by TransLink. The station closed for revenue service on December 1, 2016, coinciding with the opening of SkyTrain's Evergreen Extension the next day. Moody Centre station serves as a replacement station and continues to be served by the West Coast Express commuter rail service.

NewPort Village is a small commercial and residential area in Port Moody, British Columbia. The area is located just east of the Burrard Inlet, and across Ioco Road from the city hall, library, and the arena. What is now NewPort Village used to be a forest; the area was not developed until the mid-1990s. Today it contains many small shops, low rise apartments and a few high rise apartments. It is served by Inlet Centre Station of the Millennium Line, which despite having some of the lowest ridership in the whole system, has spurred transit oriented development around it.

The Port Moody Station Museum is owned and operated by the Port Moody Heritage Society and is part of their effort to promote increased awareness and knowledge of Port Moody, British Columbia's heritage and history.

CKPM-FM was a Canadian radio station. Licensed to Port Moody, British Columbia and operating at 98.7 FM, the station served the Tri-Cities area. The station broadcast an adult album alternative format.

Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) is a small general hospital located in Port Moody, British Columbia, on the Port Moody/Coquitlam border. ERH is one of 12 hospitals under the jurisdiction of Fraser Health, which services more than 1.3 million people. Eagle Ridge Hospital officially opened its doors on 7 April 1984 and operates a 24-hour emergency department, ambulatory, long-term care and acute care programs. It is a Centre of Excellence for elective surgery for urology, obstetrics and gynaecology, plastics and orthopedics. The hospital also offers public education clinics for asthma, diabetes, rehabilitation services and programs for cardiology, children's grief recovery, youth crisis response and early psychosis prevention.Nearby Eagle Ridge Manor provides 24-hour care in a home-like environment for an additional 75 residents in private and semi-private rooms.

Anmore is a village in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is north of the city of Port Moody and along the shores of the Indian Arm. Anmore is one of three politically independent village municipalities (municipalities with populations under 2,500) in the Greater Vancouver area, the others being its neighbour, Belcarra, and Lions Bay.
