Inlet Theatre

Port Moody is a city in British Columbia, Canada, and a member municipality of the Metro Vancouver Regional District. It envelops the east end of Burrard Inlet and is the smallest of the Tri-Cities, bordered by Coquitlam on the east and south and by Burnaby on the west. The villages of Belcarra and Anmore, along with the rugged Coast Mountains, lie to the northwest and north, respectively. It is named for Richard Clement Moody, the first lieutenant governor of the Colony of British Columbia.

NewPort Village is a small commercial and residential area in Port Moody, British Columbia. The area is located just east of the Burrard Inlet, and across Ioco Road from the city hall, library, and the arena. What is now NewPort Village used to be a forest; the area was not developed until the mid-1990s. Today it contains many small shops, low rise apartments and a few high rise apartments. It is served by Inlet Centre Station of the Millennium Line, which despite having some of the lowest ridership in the whole system, has spurred transit oriented development around it.

CKPM-FM was a Canadian radio station. Licensed to Port Moody, British Columbia and operating at 98.7 FM, the station served the Tri-Cities area. The station broadcast an adult album alternative format.

Inlet Centre is a below-grade station on the Millennium Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. It is located in Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada and opened for service on December 2, 2016, along with the rest of the Evergreen Extension.

Eagle Ridge Hospital (ERH) is a small general hospital located in Port Moody, British Columbia, on the Port Moody/Coquitlam border. ERH is one of 12 hospitals under the jurisdiction of Fraser Health, which services more than 1.3 million people. Eagle Ridge Hospital officially opened its doors on 7 April 1984 and operates a 24-hour emergency department, ambulatory, long-term care and acute care programs. It is a Centre of Excellence for elective surgery for urology, obstetrics and gynaecology, plastics and orthopedics. The hospital also offers public education clinics for asthma, diabetes, rehabilitation services and programs for cardiology, children's grief recovery, youth crisis response and early psychosis prevention.Nearby Eagle Ridge Manor provides 24-hour care in a home-like environment for an additional 75 residents in private and semi-private rooms.

The Port Moody Police Department is the police force for the City of Port Moody, British Columbia.

Scott Creek Middle School, or simply Scott Creek, is a public middle school in Coquitlam, British Columbia serving grades six to eight. The school was founded in 1996, and is part of School District 43 Coquitlam. The school is located at 1240 Lansdowne Drive, halfway between Port Moody and Coquitlam Centre. The school sports teams are all called the Scott Creek Coyotes. The school principal is Lisa Rinke.

Moody Centre station is an intermodal rapid transit station in Metro Vancouver served by both the Millennium Line—part of the SkyTrain system—and the region's West Coast Express commuter rail system. It is located in Port Moody, British Columbia, on the south side of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) tracks, at the north foot of Williams Street, approximately 200 metres (660 ft) north of St. John's Street. Moody Centre replaced the previous Port Moody station on the West Coast Express. The new station opened on December 2, 2016, along with the rest of the Evergreen Extension.

Port Moody station was a stop on the West Coast Express commuter rail line connecting Vancouver to Mission, British Columbia, Canada. The station was located on the south side of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) tracks in Port Moody, at the north foot of Williams Street, approximately 200 metres (660 ft) north of St. John's Street. The station opened in 1995, when the West Coast Express began operating. All services were operated by TransLink. The station closed for revenue service on December 1, 2016, coinciding with the opening of SkyTrain's Evergreen Extension the next day. Moody Centre station serves as a replacement station and continues to be served by the West Coast Express commuter rail service.

Rocky Point Park, also known as Rocky Point, is situated along Burrard Inlet in Port Moody, British Columbia, next to the Port Moody Station Museum. It is 3.8 hectares in size, and is the most well-known park in Port Moody. Rocky Point has a variety of amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, splash pad, skateboard park, boat launch, hiking and cycling trails, and wildlife viewing. There is also a covered performance stage, and new warden houses have been built. The Old Mill Boat House is also located on the property, as well as a kayak and sailboat rental shack. The park is also home to one of the five Pajo's Fish and Chips locations in the Lower Mainland, as well as a new Boathouse Restaurant location. Rocky Point Ice Cream is also located on the south side of the park. Many breweries are also located across the street.Questions about shoreline erosion have also been raised, as in some areas, benches have been moved further back into the park as the shoreline fell into the inlet. Proper use of riprap may be a solution to this problem. The park hosts the Golden Spike Days festival every July to commemorate the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885. It also hosts many other events such as Canada Day.

Heritage Woods Secondary School is a coeducational high school located in Port Moody, British Columbia. In 2007, Heritage Woods celebrated their first graduating class. As well, it was rated as one of the top 50 schools in British Columbia for 2007, 2008 and 2010 and top 30 in 2012 by the Fraser Institute. As of the 2013/2014 school year, it is ranked at 52nd in the province with a score of 7.7/10.

Dr. Charles Best Secondary School is a co-educational public high school located in Coquitlam, British Columbia. The school is named for Canadian physician Charles Best, one of the researchers responsible for the discovery of insulin as a treatment for diabetes. The school opened on March 22, 1971, as a junior secondary school serving students in Grades 8 through 10, and became a full secondary school (grades 9 through 12) in 2000.In 2006, the school's main sports field was replaced with a new FieldTurf surface. The Coquitlam Metro-Ford Soccer Club of the Pacific Coast Soccer League use this as their home ground.
