Ramakrishna Beach also known as R K Beach is situated on the east coast of Bay of Bengal in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is located near Dolphin's Nose.RK Beach gets its name from the Ramakrishna Mission ashram situated near the beach.

The Children's Arena is a children's world in Visakhapatnam, India and only one of its type in Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Siripuram which is also known as the "heart of the city" It has a seating capacity of 1000 (600-Multipurpose Theatre + 400-Auditorium). The Auditorium is used to conduct various functions, birthday parties, music shows, school celebrations and cultural activities related to children. The multipurpose theatre is designed to showcase movies predominantly in English, Telugu and Hindi. The arena was closed in 2011 and the demolition of old Dolphin shaped structure was carried out in 2012. The construction of the new oval-shaped arena took place in 2012 and was opened to the public in December 2017. A mini-zoo, library and play items are also available in the arena. He congratulated VUDA for coming up with a jewel in the crown of Visakhapatnam and hoped it would be a major venue for performance of traditional arts though some commercial activity could be allowed to pay for maintenance.

Rajiv Smruthi Bhavan is a memorial and cultural center at Beach road, Pandurangapuram, Visakhapatnam. It was established in the year 2008 by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

INS Kursura (S20) was a Kalvari-class (variant of the Foxtrot-class) diesel-electric submarine of the Indian Navy. It was India's fourth submarine. Kursura was commissioned on 18 December 1969 and was decommissioned on 27 February 2001 after 31 years of service. It participated in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, where it played a key role in patrol missions. It later participated in naval exercises with other nations and made many goodwill visits to other countries. After decommissioning, It was dedicated to the Nation by the Chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on 9 August 2002 and was preserved as a museum for public access from 24 August 2002 making its final journey to Visakhapatnam on RK Beach. Kursura has the distinction of being one of the very few submarine museums to retain originality and has been called a "must-visit destination" of Visakhapatnam. Despite being a decommissioned submarine, she still receives the navy's "Dressing Ship" honour, which is usually awarded only to active ships.
