The McNutt-Howard House is a historic house in Maryville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built circa 1900 for Robert G. McNutt. It was built in the Queen Anne and Classical Revival architectural styles. It belonged to W. B. Howard from 1908 to the 1930s. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 25, 1989.

It was purchased by J. A. Reynolds in 1906, and by Dr. W. B. Lovingood in 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 25, 1989, and was delisted on October 28, 2021.

Maryville High School (MHS) is currently a three-year public high school with grades 10–12. It was founded in 1918 in Maryville, Tennessee and is a part of the Maryville City Schools system.In the 2009–2010 year, there were approximately 1,558 students enrolled, and the senior class consisted of 352 students. With 107 faculty members, the staff-to-student ratio was approximately 1:15. The school principal is Heather Hilton.Maryville High School has been designated by the Governor of Tennessee as an A+ school. Five National Merit Finalists graduated from Maryville in 2003.

Pearson Springs Park is a public park managed by Maryville/Alcoa/Blount County Parks and Recreation. Pearson Springs parallels Pistol Creek from Best Road on the northeast to the junction of the Maryville Alcoa Greenway and Montgomery Lane on the southwest, all within the City of Maryville, Tennessee.

Foothills Mall is an indoor regional shopping mall located in Maryville, Tennessee, United States. Foothills Mall features approximately 70 stores and restaurants. Adjacent to the mall is the Foothills Plaza complex which includes several additional restaurants and a Kroger. Opened in 1983, Foothills Mall is the only shopping mall in suburban Blount County, part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Area. The mall was originally anchored by Maryville-based Proffitt's, a regional department store; Miller's, another regional department store that was a division of Allied Stores; JCPenney; and Sears, which closed in February 2019. Proffitt's and Miller's no longer exist. The original Proffitt's space is now used by Belk, while the former Miller's/Hess's was demolished in 2011 to accommodate a new movie theater. The mall was renovated in 2006.On June 4, 2020, JCPenney announced that it would close in October 2020 as part of a plan to close 154 stores nationwide. After JCPenney closed, AMC Theatres, Belk, and TJ Maxx are the only remaining anchor stores left.

Friends Church is a historic church at 314 W. Broadway in Maryville, in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It was built in 1871 as a meetinghouse for the local congregation of the Society of Friends (Quakers). The Quakers were an important group in Maryville in the 19th century that played a major role in building the community's early schools, including the Freedman's Institute and Maryville Normal School. The single-story brick church is of Italianate design and is laid out on an ell plan.Since 1940 the building has been used for Episcopal worship. It currently houses St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.It is the oldest brick church in Blount County, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It became a Blount County historic landmark in 2007.

WSMM (850 AM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Maryville, Tennessee, and serving the Knoxville metropolitan area. It is owned by Loud Media. By day, WSMM is powered at 1,000 watts non-directional. Because 850 AM is a United States clear-channel frequency, WSMM is a daytimer station, and must leave the air from sunset to sunrise to avoid interference with the skywave signal of the Class A station on 850 AM, KOA in Denver. WSMM programming is also heard around the clock on FM translator W229DO at 93.7 MHz in Maryville.

The station is currently owned by Loud Media LLC.On April 15, 2022, it was announced that Blount Broadcasting Corporation has come to an agreement to sell WGAP, its sister station WKVL, and two translators to Loud Media. The sale was consummated on August 17, 2022. On August 22, 2022, WGAP changed its format from classic country to variety hits, branded as "Random Music Radio", simulcasting WKVL 850 AM.On September 20, 2023, WGAP changed its format from variety hits to classic hits, branded as "Fun 105.9".

Bicentennial Greenbelt Park is a public park located in downtown Maryville, Tennessee.

Anderson Hall, built in 1870, is the oldest building on the campus of Maryville College, Maryville, Tennessee, named for college founder Isaac L. Anderson.Anderson Hall is a brick building designed in the Second Empire style by architect Benjamin Fahnestock. Funds for its construction were contributed by the Freedmen's Bureau, Pittsburgh businessman William Thaw, and John C. Baldwin of New York.Originally the college's only building, Anderson Hall is currently used as a classroom building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. Extensive renovations were started in 2008.The bell tower of Anderson Hall is depicted in the college's logo.
