The Exercise Conant House (also the Reverend John Chipman House) is a historic First Period house in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States. Most of this 2.5-story wood-frame house was built after 1715 for the Reverend John Chipman, and contains many fine Georgian features. Attached to its north side is a two-story single-room ell that dates to c. 1695, and was probably built by Exercise Conant, son of early Cape Ann settler Roger Conant.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. A historical marker at the site reads, "Roger Conant was a prudent and religious man who led the old planters from Gloucester to Salem in 1626, and held them together until the Bay Colony was founded. This house was built on land given by him to his son Exercise Conant in 1666. -Massachusetts Bay Colony Tercentenary Commission".

The Rea-Proctor Homestead is a historic First Period house at 180 Conant Street in Danvers, Massachusetts. It is notable not only for its age, but its association with a number of well-known individuals. The oldest part of the house was built c. 1692 by Joshua Rea Sr., whose son, Joshua Jr., testified at the Salem witch trials on behalf of John Proctor. It remained in the Rea family until 1803, and from 1804 to 1806 it was owned by one of Massachusetts's leading statesmen, Timothy Pickering. The house was updated to a Federalist style by Isaac Rea, the last of that family to own the property. Pickering was a gentleman farmer, running agricultural experiments on the farm and taking detailed notes of his work. He helped found the Essex Agricultural Society, the first organization of its type. In 1812 the property was purchased by Daniel Proctor, and it has since remained in the hands of his descendants.The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Beverly Cotton Manufactory was the first cotton mill built in America, and the largest cotton mill to be built during its era. It was built hoping for economic success, but reached a downturn due to technical limitations of the then early production process and limitations of the machines being used. Being the birthplace and testing grounds of the cotton milling industry at the time, it has been called the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution.

Beverly Regional Airport (IATA: BVY, ICAO: KBVY, FAA LID: BVY) is a city-owned, public-use airport located in Beverly, Danvers and Wenham, Massachusetts, in Essex County, three nautical miles (6 km) northwest of Beverly's central business district.The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a reliever airport, which means it is available to relieve Logan International Airport of small general aviation type aircraft during Logan's peak traffic times.

The United Shoe Machinery Corporation Clubhouse is a historic clubhouse at 134 McKay Street in Beverly, Massachusetts. The building is now known as Beverly Golf and Tennis Clubhouse. The English Revival building was designed by Boston architect Henry Bailey Alden, and built in 1910 as a gift from the senior management of the United Shoe Machinery Corporation to its local employees. The club, which originally occupied 300 acres (120 ha), became a significant social center in Beverly, providing a place for all manner of social and recreational activities. The property was sold to a developer in 1971, who sold the clubhouse and 168 acres (68 ha) to the city of Beverly.The clubhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Peter Woodbury House (or Woodberry) is a historic First Period house in Beverly, Massachusetts. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, five bays wide, with a side-gable roof, large central chimney, and clapboard siding. Like most surviving First Period houses, this one was built in stages. The earliest part, dating to c. 1696, was the right front section and chimney. The left side was built in the 18th century, as was the rear leanto, which was later raised to a full second story.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Shore Country Day School is an independent elementary and middle school, founded in 1936 following the tenets of the Country Day School movement. The private school educates students in grade levels ranging from a Pre-Kindergarten program through to Grade 9. It is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) with the most recent accreditation review in 2008. Enrollment averages 435 to 450 students annually. The school is located on a 17 acre campus in Beverly, Massachusetts with athletic fields, two gyms, a library resource center, and five school buildings.

The James Friend House is a historic First Period house in Wenham, Massachusetts, United States. It was built by James Friend, a local carpenter, probably not long after he received a grant in 1699 to cut timber on public land. The house is a 2.5-story wood-frame house with a center chimney. Its main facade is a slightly asymmetrical five bays wide, even though it was apparently originally built to that plan rather than in stages. A lean-to was added to the back of the house sometime before 1738, giving the house a saltbox appearance. This section was raised to a full two stories in the 19th century, and the roof was rebuilt. In the early 20th century, the house was moved back from the road and covered in stucco.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Wenham Lake is a 224-acre body of water located in Wenham and Beverly towns, Essex County, Massachusetts.The lake receives water from the water table and also from a system of streams. In the 19th century, the lake was an important source of ice for export, especially to Britain. Wenham Lake is now a reservoir for the Salem and the Beverly Water Supply Board.

North Beverly station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Beverly, Massachusetts. Located in North Beverly, it serves the Newburyport/Rockport Line. The station has two low side platforms serving the line's two tracks, with mini-high platforms to provide accessibility. The station originally opened by the mid-1850s. The station building was converted to a hamburger stand by 1968, but later demolished. As of May 2021, improvements to the accessible mini-high platforms are in design.

Beverly School for the Deaf (Official name: The Children's Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf (CCCBSD)) is a school, established in 1876, for students from birth to age twenty-two who are Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and/or have cochlear implants by providing language that is visually accessible via American Sign Language, written English, speech, and AAC/Assistive Technology. The school also serves students who have language issues caused by conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, pervasive developmental disorders, and cerebral palsy.

The John Balch House, located at 448 Cabot Street, Beverly, Massachusetts, is one of the oldest wood-frame houses in the United States. It is now operated as one of the historic house museums of Historic Beverly, and open seasonally.
