Low Leven

High Leven is a village of Ingleby Barwick in North Yorkshire, England. It is in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, on top of the River Leven's dell. It has a public house called The Fox Covert (previously Half Moon Inn) and a co-operative food store, open every day 05:00 to 24:00, with an ATM and petrol station.

Ingleby Manor Free School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form with free school status. It is located in Maltby, North Yorkshire, England. It had an enrolment of over 450 pupils, ages 11–19, as of 2018.The school is operated by Delta Academies Trust, and the current principal is Ray Parkinson.

Ingleby Barwick is a town and civil parish in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. It is south of the River Tees and north-east of the River Leven. Large scale development of the town started in the late 1970s on farm land south-west of Thornaby, the first development being officially opened on 30 July 1981 by the mayor of Langbaurgh. At a parish council meeting in February 2007, the parish gained town status in with the passing of a resolution under the Local Government Act 1972 s245(6).In 2011, the population of the civil parish of Ingleby Barwick was 20,378, its two electoral wards (which also include the settlements of Hilton, Maltby, High Leven and Low Leven) had a population of 21,045.

Castlelevington (or Castle Leavington) is a group of hamlets, former township and former civil parish. It is east of the River Leven and 2.5 miles (4 km) south south-east of Yarm.The area is in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 30. At the 2011 Census, it remained only minimal. The parish originated as a chapelry within the parish of Kirklevington and it became recognised as a separate civil parish in 1866. It was part of the Stokesley Rural District from 1894 to 1974, when it became part of the borough of Stockton.The area forms the eastern half of the present parish. It covers a number of farms: Red Hall, White Hall, Spell Close, Levington House, Woodcroft and The Mill although there is no settlement in the area known as Castle Levington. Red Hall was seat of the Meryton family, whose most famous son was George Meryton (d. 1624), chaplain to Queen Anne and Dean of Peterborough and York. In the far east of the parish is the motte that gives the area its name. The eastern border is the River Leven.

All Saints Academy (formerly All Saints CofE School) is a mixed Church of England secondary school located in Ingleby Barwick in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England.Previously a voluntary aided school administered by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and the Church of England Diocese of York, All Saints CofE School converted to academy status in May 2013 and was renamed All Saints Academy. The school is still administered by the Diocese of York but is now independent of council control. All Saints Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. In 2015 it was named as the top performing school in Teesside.

Levendale is a small housing estate in the south-east of Yarm, in North Yorkshire, England, which is bordered by the River Leven. It is also known as Ingleby Grange. The estate is built in former area occupied by Leven Mouth Farm.Levendale has been, and is the home to many of Middlesbrough F.C.'s footballers.Other than houses, Levendale has one Primary School, and an independent convenience store as well as various large open spaces including one that runs down the middle of the estate where electricity pylons used to stand until they were removed in the summer of 2004. Half of the estate's streets follow a naming theme of villages in the North York Moors.

Stockton South is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since December 2019 by Matt Vickers, a Conservative MP.Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat will be subject to moderate boundary changes and will be renamed Stockton West, to be first contested at the next general election.

The River Leven (pronounced ) in North Yorkshire, England is a tributary of the River Tees. It rises on Warren Moor, part of Kildale Moor, in the North York Moors and flows to the north of the moors to join the River Tees at Yarm.

HM Prison Kirklevington Grange is a Category D men's prison, located in the village of Kirklevington (near Yarm), in North Yorkshire, England. The prison is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service.

Hilton is a village and civil parish in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is a small village with an estimated population of around 400, measured at 374 in the 2011 census. Despite its proximity to Teesside, the village retains its rural feel, and has a number of public footpaths surrounding it. The village church, the Church of St Peter, Hilton, which is largely unaltered since its building in the 12th century. The old Hilton Manor House was demolished in the 1960s and the site is now occupied by a number of houses along Manor Drive. Until the 1960s the village consisted of only around a dozen properties plus a few farms, but several small-scale housing developments in the 1970s and 1990s have seen the size of the village increase dramatically. The village has no shop, but has retained its pub, The Falcon (formerly The Fox & Hounds). At the turn of the Millennium, Hilton's village hall was refurbished and extended.

Arden Priory was a priory near to Hawnby in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. A Benedictine nunnery has been recorded here since 1150 and at the time of its dissolution in 1536 it had 6 nuns, one Prioress and an elderly sister. They were aided by sixteen servants.

The Preston Pipe Bridge carries three water pipes across the River Tees between Ingleby Barwick and Preston-on-Tees in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, northern England. The bridge is situated over 3.1 miles (5 km) upriver from Stockton town centre, and some 660 feet (200 m) upriver from Jubilee Bridge.
