Levendale is a small housing estate in the south-east of Yarm, in North Yorkshire, England, which is bordered by the River Leven. It is also known as Ingleby Grange. The estate is built in former area occupied by Leven Mouth Farm.Levendale has been, and is the home to many of Middlesbrough F.C.'s footballers.Other than houses, Levendale has one Primary School, and an independent convenience store as well as various large open spaces including one that runs down the middle of the estate where electricity pylons used to stand until they were removed in the summer of 2004. Half of the estate's streets follow a naming theme of villages in the North York Moors.

Low Leven is a hamlet of Ingleby Barwick in North Yorkshire, England. It is in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, in the River Leven's dell on the east bank before the river flows into the River Tees. Until 2007, Low Leven was dominated by the ruin of the Cross Keys public house and three former dwellings which were abandoned due to persistent flooding. Large parts of these buildings had collapsed. This area has now been restored and redeveloped in to an area of large family dwellings.

At the 2011 census, the village had a population of 809.The civil parish had a population of 1,361. The village shares it with Castle Levington and is situated south of Yarm, it hosts the town's station.

The River Leven (pronounced ) in North Yorkshire, England is a tributary of the River Tees. It rises on Warren Moor, part of Kildale Moor, in the North York Moors and flows to the north of the moors to join the River Tees at Yarm.

Yarm, also referred to as Yarm-on-Tees, is a market town and civil parish in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. It is in Teesdale with a town centre on a small meander of the River Tees. To the south-east, it extends to the River Leven, to the south it extends into the Kirklevington. Yarm bridge marked the river's furthest tidal-flow reaching until a barrage opened to regulate the tide in 1995. It was previously the last bridge before the sea, having been superseded multiple times since. It was first superseded by a toll bridge in 1771, crossing into Stockton-on-Tees The town's historic county is Yorkshire, the North Riding sub-division. The three sub-divisions had gained separate county status in 1889 before these were abolished in 1974. It is in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees; first when the borough was a county of Cleveland district (1974–1996) and second (from 1996) in its present unitary authority structure. The borough is a constituent member of the Tees Valley combined authority.

All Saints Academy (formerly All Saints CofE School) is a mixed Church of England secondary school located in Ingleby Barwick in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England.Previously a voluntary aided school administered by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and the Church of England Diocese of York, All Saints CofE School converted to academy status in May 2013 and was renamed All Saints Academy. The school is still administered by the Diocese of York but is now independent of council control. All Saints Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils. In 2015 it was named as the top performing school in Teesside.

Ingleby Manor Free School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form with free school status. It is located in Maltby, North Yorkshire, England. It had an enrolment of over 450 pupils, ages 11–19, as of 2018.The school is operated by Delta Academies Trust, and the current principal is Ray Parkinson.

Arden Priory was a priory near to Hawnby in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England. A Benedictine nunnery has been recorded here since 1150 and at the time of its dissolution in 1536 it had 6 nuns, one Prioress and an elderly sister. They were aided by sixteen servants.
