Shoalhaven Coast is an Australian wine region located in the state of New South Wales.The Shoalhaven Coast wine region is located in the state of New South Wales. It is close to the cities of Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra. The region has 16 cellar doors that have produced 500 tonnes or 400,000 bottles of wine.The region is popularly known for Chambourcin, a French red wine. It is produced by crossbreeding and it has a bright and striking colour and an aroma of plummy fruit. The superb coastal beaches brings in enormous tourism, which boosts the wine market. Because of that, the cellar doors in the area are bustling with activities. The region also boasts of the Coolangatta Estate, which is a major tourist attraction in the region. The Shoalhaven coast has been a great success over the years with the establishment of new wineries and increased number of visitors to the area. This has positioned the region in the forefront of North South Wales wine industry. Shoalhaven Coast holds a Winter wine festival every year in June. The festival is supported by wine tours from Sydney and Wollongong. It offers winery tours, outdoor entertainment and regional food tastings.

Bomaderry is a suburb in the City of Shoalhaven local government area in New South Wales, Australia. At the 2021 census, it had a population of 8,718 people. It is on the north shore of the Shoalhaven River, across the river from Nowra, the major town of the City of Shoalhaven, of which Bomaderry is locally regarded as being a suburb of the city.

Bomaderry railway station is a heritage-listed single-platform intercity train station located in Bomaderry, New South Wales, Australia, on the South Coast railway line. The station serves NSW TrainLink diesel multiple unit trains to Kiama. Early morning and late night services to the station are provided by train replacement bus services. A siding near the station is used by freight trains operated by the Manildra Group. The station was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Nowra Anglican College, (abbreviated as NAC), is an independent Anglican co-educational early learning, primary, and secondary day school, located on the corner of West Bunbera Street and the Princes Highway, in Bomaderry in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Established in 2000 as a Kindergarten to Year 7 school, additional years were added with every year, and became Kindergarten to Year 12 school in 2005. In 2009 the College took over the management of Bomaderry Community Preschool. It is a member school of the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation, currently with over 860 students. Nowra Anglican College was ranked as the leading School in the Shoalhaven in 2009 based on its outstanding NSW Higher School Certificate results. The college was placed 94th in the state.

Bomaderry Aboriginal Children's Home is a heritage-listed former Institutional home for Aboriginal children and now Nowra Local Aboriginal Land Council offices at 59 Beinda Street, Bomaderry, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by United Aborigines Mission and built from 1908. It was also known as Bomaderry Children's Home; Bomaderry Babies Home; and United Aborigines Mission Home. The property is owned by Nowra Local Aboriginal Land Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 17 February 2012.

Terara is a suburb of Nowra in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on the southern bank of the Shoalhaven about 3 km to the north-east of Nowra. At the 2021 census, it had a population of 305. Terara is the original settlement of Nowra before being flooded and the township moved slightly west.

Bellawongarah is a locality in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies west of the Princes Highway on the Kangaroo Valley Road between Berry and Kangaroo Valley. It lies about 23 km north of Nowra and about 160 km south of Sydney. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 127. It lies on a ridge and is partly covered by temperate rain forest and partly by grasslands that were formerly used for dairying, but are now mainly used for rural residences.

The Nowra Bridge is a road bridge that carries the Princes Highway over the Shoalhaven River, at Nowra, New South Wales, Australia. The bridge joins the main area of Nowra to North Nowra and Bomaderry.

Cambewarra is located in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on the Kangaroo Valley–Nowra road, about 11 km northwest of Nowra and south of Cambewarra Mountain. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 238. Cambewarra is a largely rural area, which surrounds Cambewarra Village.

North Nowra is a suburb of Nowra in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies northwest of Nowra. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 5,794. There are four schools; a pre-school, a junior school, a special needs school and a stage school. Shoalhaven Zoo is found there on the north bank of the Shoalhaven River. Notable former residents include actress Christie Hayes.

Beaumont is a locality in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on Cambewarra Range about 18 km north of Nowra on both sides of the Kangaroo Valley–Nowra road. It includes the Cambewarra Mountain lookout, which gives a good view of the lower Shoalhaven valley. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 125.
