Cambewarra, New South Wales

Cambewarra Village is a locality in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on Main Road, which runs west from Cambewarra Road, which forms part of the Kangaroo Valley–Nowra road, about 9 km northwest of Nowra and south of Cambewarra Mountain. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 1,189. Cambewarra Village is largely surrounded by the locality of Cambewarra.

At the 2016 census, it had a population of 657.Bangalee is an Aboriginal name meaning "sandy beach" and was the original name for the Shoalhaven River. Bangalee was also a name "used by Cliff Richards for his pleasure grounds which were situated near where [Bengalee] Creek runs into the Shoalhaven River".

The Nowra Anglican College, (abbreviated as NAC), is an independent Anglican co-educational early learning, primary, and secondary day school, located on the corner of West Bunbera Street and the Princes Highway, in Bomaderry in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Established in 2000 as a Kindergarten to Year 7 school, additional years were added with every year, and became Kindergarten to Year 12 school in 2005. In 2009 the College took over the management of Bomaderry Community Preschool. It is a member school of the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation, currently with over 860 students. Nowra Anglican College was ranked as the leading School in the Shoalhaven in 2009 based on its outstanding NSW Higher School Certificate results. The college was placed 94th in the state.

North Nowra is a suburb of Nowra in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies northwest of Nowra. At the 2016 census, it had a population of 5,794. There are four schools; a pre-school, a junior school, a special needs school and a stage school. Shoalhaven Zoo is found there on the north bank of the Shoalhaven River. Notable former residents include actress Christie Hayes.

Shoalhaven Zoo, formerly the Nowra Animal Park, is an animal park on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Shoalhaven Zoo is the largest native animal park on the NSW South Coast and holds over 100 species of mostly native mammals, birds and reptiles. The park is set in 16 acres (6.5 ha) of native bushland and is situated on the Shoalhaven River.

Bomaderry Aboriginal Children's Home is a heritage-listed former Institutional home for Aboriginal children and now Nowra Local Aboriginal Land Council offices at 59 Beinda Street, Bomaderry, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by United Aborigines Mission and built from 1908. It was also known as Bomaderry Children's Home; Bomaderry Babies Home; and United Aborigines Mission Home. The property is owned by Nowra Local Aboriginal Land Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 17 February 2012.

The secondary health care facility is the main acute care hospital for the region, serving a population of over 100,000. The hospital is operated by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District In the 2009–2010 financial year, SDMH handled 21,193 hospitalisations. It is also affiliated with the University of Wollongong and University of New South Wales as a teaching hospital.

The Nowra Bridge is a road bridge that carries the Princes Highway over the Shoalhaven River, at Nowra, New South Wales, Australia. The bridge joins the main area of Nowra to North Nowra and Bomaderry.

Bomaderry railway station is a heritage-listed single-platform intercity train station located in Bomaderry, New South Wales, Australia, on the South Coast railway line. The station serves NSW TrainLink diesel multiple unit trains to Kiama. Early morning and late night services to the station are provided by train replacement bus services. A siding near the station is used by freight trains operated by the Manildra Group. The station was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Meroogal is a heritage-listed former residence and now house museum at 35 West Street, Nowra, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Kenneth Mackenzie and built in 1886 by Kenneth Mackenzie. The property is owned by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
