Bomaderry railway station

Bomaderry is a suburb in the City of Shoalhaven local government area in New South Wales, Australia. At the 2021 census, it had a population of 8,718 people. It is on the north shore of the Shoalhaven River, across the river from Nowra, the major town of the City of Shoalhaven, of which Bomaderry is locally regarded as being a suburb of the city.

Bomaderry Aboriginal Children's Home is a heritage-listed former Institutional home for Aboriginal children and now Nowra Local Aboriginal Land Council offices at 59 Beinda Street, Bomaderry, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by United Aborigines Mission and built from 1908. It was also known as Bomaderry Children's Home; Bomaderry Babies Home; and United Aborigines Mission Home. The property is owned by Nowra Local Aboriginal Land Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 17 February 2012.

The Nowra Anglican College, (abbreviated as NAC), is an independent Anglican co-educational early learning, primary, and secondary day school, located on the corner of West Bunbera Street and the Princes Highway, in Bomaderry in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Established in 2000 as a Kindergarten to Year 7 school, additional years were added with every year, and became Kindergarten to Year 12 school in 2005. In 2009 the College took over the management of Bomaderry Community Preschool. It is a member school of the Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation, currently with over 860 students. Nowra Anglican College was ranked as the leading School in the Shoalhaven in 2009 based on its outstanding NSW Higher School Certificate results. The college was placed 94th in the state.

The Nowra Bridge is a road bridge that carries the Princes Highway over the Shoalhaven River, at Nowra, New South Wales, Australia. The bridge joins the main area of Nowra to North Nowra and Bomaderry.

Graham Lodge is a heritage-listed former homestead, function centre and leagues club at Pleasant Way, Nowra, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1860 to 1861 by stonemason Charles Moore and carpenter Willet Burry. It was also known as Greenhills and Warragee during its homestead era, as Prague Lodge while it was a function centre, and later as the now-defunct Nowra Bomaderry Leagues Club. The property is owned by Shoalhaven City Council. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 4 June 2004.

Nowra High School is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school, located in Nowra, in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1956, the school enrolled approximately 910 students in 2018, from Year 7 to Year 12, of whom eleven percent identified as Indigenous Australians and seven percent were from a language background other than English. The school is operated by the NSW Department of Education; the acting principal is Jodie Wellington. The school motto is "Wisdom Through Knowledge".

Terara is a suburb of Nowra in the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It lies on the southern bank of the Shoalhaven about 3 km to the north-east of Nowra. At the 2021 census, it had a population of 305. Terara is the original settlement of Nowra before being flooded and the township moved slightly west.

The Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital often shortened to Shoalhaven Hospital (abbreviated SDMH) is a public hospital serving the City of Shoalhaven in New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the banks of the Shoalhaven River 1 km (0.62 mi) from the Nowra CBD. The secondary health care facility is the main acute care hospital for the region, serving a population of over 100,000. The hospital is operated by the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District In the 2009–2010 financial year, SDMH handled 21,193 hospitalisations. It is also affiliated with the University of Wollongong and University of New South Wales as a teaching hospital.

Part of the Diocese of Wollongong, the Gothic Revival church is home to St Michael's Parish, Nowra. St Michael's Parish takes in the northern Shoalhaven City region andincorporates the Church Communities of St Michael's, Nowra; St Patrick's, Berry, Sacred Heart, Bomaderry; Mary, Help of Christians, Culburra; St Joseph's, Kangaroo Valley; and Holy Spirit, Vincentia.

Meroogal is a heritage-listed former residence and now house museum at 35 West Street, Nowra, City of Shoalhaven, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Kenneth Mackenzie and built in 1886 by Kenneth Mackenzie. The property is owned by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
