Trump Bay Street

Trump Plaza also known as Trump Plaza Residences, is the first of two apartment complex buildings to be built in Jersey City, New Jersey. Trump Plaza Residences is 532 ft tall (162 m) and has 55 floors, and is the 7th tallest residential building in New Jersey. In 2020, the Trump name was removed from the properties and has been renamed the 88 Morgan Street Condominiums.The property was initially approved in 1999 for a twin-tower project to be known as HarborSpire, which never materialized. In 2005, Donald Trump and Dean Geibel partnered to develop Trump Plaza on the property. The project was to consist of two towers, the first of which opened in 2008. The second tower, known as Trump Bay Street, was opened in 2016.

The Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Powerhouse, also known as the Jersey City Powerhouse in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, was built in 1908. The powerhouse made possible the subway system between New Jersey and New York for the Hudson and Manhattan Railroad (which became PATH in 1963). It was built under the leadership of William Gibbs McAdoo, president of the railroad. The powerhouse was closed in 1929 and used as a storage place for railroad equipment. In the 1990s, the building was cited by Preservation New Jersey as one of the state's ten most endangered historic sites. The powerhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 23, 2001, for its significance in architecture, engineering, and transportation.It is located near the Harborside Financial Center and Harsimus Cove on the Hudson River waterfront in an area undergoing much redevelopment. Efforts to stabilize the powerhouse from further deterioration began July 2009 and continued through 2010. In 2011 the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey agreed to transfer its 55% ownership of the building to its co-owner, Jersey City, in exchange for a nearby lot where they will build an underground electric sub-station. It was determined that the iconic smokestacks could not be saved, leading to their removal.

Jersey City Urby is a residential tower complex in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. The first tower was proposed in 2012 as URL Harborside, and later renamed to Urby Harborside. The construction of the first tower began in 2014, and completed in 2016. At 700 feet (210 m), the 70-story tower is the fourth tallest building in New Jersey, as well as in Jersey City as of August 2022. It overtook Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City for the title of second place when it was completed, but moved down to fourth after the constructions of 99 Hudson Street and Journal Squared Tower 2 respectively. The company, Urby, also has three other locations such as Staten Island, Stamford, and Harrison. In July 2022, the city council gave approval of construction of two similar buildings in the complex.

Harborside station (formerly named Harborside Financial Center station) is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) located east of Greene Street, between Morgan and Steuben Streets, in Exchange Place section of Jersey City, New Jersey and named for the adjacent Harborside (Jersey City) office complex. There are two tracks and an island platform. The station opened on November 18, 2000, and is served by the West Side–Tonnelle and 8th Street–Hoboken lines at all times and the Bayonne Flyer during the weekday rush. In October 2017, New York Waterway initiated connecting ferry service at Harborside Financial Center.

111 First Street was an industrial building in Jersey City, New Jersey, at the intersection of First and Washington Streets in Downtown Jersey City. Prior to its demolition in 2007, the 19th-century industrial building on the site had been converted to an arts center, artists' residence, and loft. As of 2018, the site is the location of a proposed 52-story skyscraper.

It was founded in 2011 by Daniela Sarbu and offers classes from preschool to eighth grade, as well as daycare and summer camps. Harborside is an office complex in the Exchange Place district of Jersey City, New Jersey located on the Hudson Waterfront. All the buildings are owned and managed by Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, with the exception of Harborside Plaza 10, which it sold but continues to manage.

Isaac Edge's windmill is a historic landmark that played an important role in the early industrial development of Jersey City, New Jersey. Isaac Edge, a British immigrant, built the windmill in 1806 on the shore of the Hudson River, the Great Western Mill stones imported from England found their first home in Brooklyn Heights. Later the smock mill relocated to Paulus Hook just north of the present-day corner of Montgomery and Greene streets in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Harsimus Cove is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) located at Metro Plaza Drive in the Harsimus Section of downtown Jersey City, New Jersey. It is served by the 8th Street-Hoboken and West Side Avenue-Tonnelle Avenue branches at all times, and the Bayonne Flyer during rush hours. The station opened on November 18, 2000. There are two tracks and two side platforms, each with a canopy. It is located on a private right-of-way with 4th Street to the north and 2nd Street to the south.

The Powerhouse Arts District is a historic warehouse district in Downtown Jersey City, New Jersey, United States, on the water front of the Hudson River. Its name derives from the unused generating station Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Powerhouse, a historic Victorian-era power plant that was renovated into an arts center. The area was once home to large industrial operations, which gradually left the district during the 20th century, leaving large derelict buildings that attracted artists drawn to the large, affordable loft spaces.

Marbella Apartments is a 427 ft (130m) tall skyscraper in Jersey City, New Jersey. It is the 17th tallest building in Jersey City. When it was completed, it was the tallest residential building in Jersey City.Marbella was submitted for city planning board approval in 1998 and completed in 2003; the building has 40 floors, containing 412 apartments.A second tower called M2 opened in June 2016 and is slightly taller than the original one at 450 ft (137 m) and 38 floors, with 300 apartments.It is being eclipsed by a larger building boom and architectural revival that is taking place in Jersey City, which has now moved toward tall towers. The Marbella was designed to meet the demands of millennials, who want "to live in a place where they can walk downstairs to the gym, walk to work or to public transportation, and then head to a nearby bar or restaurant" according to Mack-Cali's CEO and executive vice president for development, Andrew Marshall. Although built in 2003, it is seen as part of a larger long term revival in Jersey City. In 2015, Robert Cotter and Jeff Wenger, one of whom is the urban planning director for Jersey City wrote:“Since 1980, 18 million square feet of office space have been developed on the Jersey City waterfront, generating the highest price per square foot office deals in New Jersey history and marking the success of the original ‘Wall Street West’ concept. Currently over 6,000 housing units are under construction with another 20,000 units approved by the planning Board. Much of this development is accommodated with high rise construction with approximately 28 buildings over 300 feet tall and 6 buildings over 500 feet with several more under construction. China Overseas has approvals for a new tower of 889 feet. Within a few years, Jersey City will overtake Newark as New Jersey’s most populous city….”

Haus25 is a 57-story residential building in Jersey City, New Jersey. At 626 ft (191 m), it is the 7th tallest building in Jersey City and the 8th tallest building in New Jersey. The building was first proposed in 2016, began construction in 2019, and was completed in 2022. The building is attached to an elementary school that was built alongside the development of the tower itself.
