Salisbury Arts Centre is a venue in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. It is run by Wiltshire Creative, a charity which provides opportunities for members of the community to experience the arts. The centre stages a range of educational and community events, many of them free, and it also participates at events in and around the city, including the Larmer Tree Festival. The centre is housed in the deconsecrated St Edmund's Church on Bedwin Street in central Salisbury. Its main performance space can hold 164 people seated or 400 standing. It also has a studio space called the White Room that seats 60, a media space, a multi-purpose arts and crafts space, a pottery studio, an exhibition space, a café, a bar, and staff offices.

Salisbury bus station was a bus station in the city of Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. The station had five stands underneath a red brick building which was built in 1939 as the headquarters of the Wilts & Dorset bus company. It was closed in 2014 on the grounds of high maintenance costs.

John Halle's Hall is a 15th-century late medieval building, a hall house, in Salisbury, England, with later 16th-, 19th- and 20th-century additions. The Hall is a Grade I listed building, the top category, 'of highest significance'. The medieval part of the building is now the foyer of a cinema, with a Victorian mock-Tudor street façade added in 1880–1881, together with the main cinema screening room built in 1931 behind the foyer. The noted architectural historian Sir Nikolaus Pevsner described this conglomeration as ' ... a great curiosity, a cinema with a grossly overdone timber-framed Tudor façade ..., and behind this façade the substantial and memorable remains of the House of John Hall'.

Salisbury (locally SAWZ-b(ə-)ree) is a cathedral city in Wiltshire, England with a population of 41,820, at the confluence of the rivers Avon, Nadder and Bourne. The city is approximately 20 miles (30 kilometres) from Southampton and 30 miles (50 kilometres) from Bath. Salisbury is in the southeast of Wiltshire, near the edge of Salisbury Plain. An ancient cathedral was north of the present city at Old Sarum. A new cathedral was built near the meeting of the rivers and a settlement grew up around it, which received a city charter in 1227 as New Sarum. This continued to be its official name until 2009, when Salisbury City Council was established. Salisbury railway station is an interchange between the West of England Main Line and the Wessex Main Line. Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 8 miles (13 kilometres) northwest of Salisbury.

The Young Gallery is an art gallery in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. The gallery's collections include those from Edgar Barclay, John Creasey, Mick Maslen, Robin Tanner, and Edwin Young. It also has temporary exhibitions. The gallery is a free art museum in central Salisbury. It is housed on the first floor of Salisbury Library and holds a collection of over 4,000 objects, including books, paintings, prints, photographs, and sculptures. The collection started with over 300 watercolour paintings of scenes of Salisbury and the surrounding area by Edwin Young, after whom the gallery is named. The gallery has since acquired watercolours by artists of various periods. In addition, the gallery has around 2,000 books in more than 20 languages, as well as book jacket designs, manuscripts, and ephemera related to the crime/thriller novelist John Creasey in the 1970s. The collection has expanded to include a collection of artwork and prints. It contains original works by Edgar Barclay, William Goldsmith, Robin Tanner, as well as prints by the English artists John Constable, David Hockney, Henry Moore, and J. M. W. Turner. In 2024, the former Edwin Young Collection and the John Creasey Museum were merged to allow the Young Gallery to renew its accreditation with Arts Council England.

The Corn Exchange, formerly the Market Hall, is a commercial building in the Market Place, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. The structure, which accommodates a small shopping mall, a public library and an art gallery, is a Grade II listed building.

The Poultry Cross is a market cross in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, marking the site of former markets. Constructed in the 14th century and modified in the 18th century, it stands at the junction of Silver Street and Minster Street. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed structure.The Poultry Cross is the only one remaining of four market crosses that once stood in Salisbury. The others were the Cheese Cross in the present Cheesemarket area, Barnard's Cross (livestock) at the junction of Barnard Street and Culver Street and another which designated a market for wool and yarn at the east end of the present Market Place, near the War Memorial.The presence of a market cross on the site dates to 1307, and the name to about a century later. The present stone structure was built in the 14th century. The original flying buttresses were removed in 1711, as can be seen in the painting of 1800 by J. M. W. Turner; the present buttresses date from 1852–1854, when the upper parts of the cross were rebuilt to the designs of the architect Owen Browne Carter.The present-day site, around the structure, is used as part of Salisbury Market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. However, the structure itself is no longer in use.

St Thomas's Church is a Church of England parish church in central Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. The church was founded in the early 13th century and rebuilt in the 15th century at the expense of the city's prosperous merchants. Above the chancel arch is a large doom painting from the late 15th century or early 16th. The building is Grade I listed.

The Bell and Crown Inn, until April 2019 called The Cloisters, is a Grade II* listed public house in Catherine Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. It dates from the fourteenth century.

Salisbury power station supplied electricity to the English city of Salisbury and the surrounding area from 1898 to c. 1970. It was owned and operated by Salisbury Electric Light and Supply Company Limited prior to the nationalisation of the British electricity supply industry in 1948. The power station was redeveloped several times to incorporate new plant to replace retired equipment. The facilities included a water driven turbine.
