Located on the Duquesne Brewing Company building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Duquesne Brewery Clock was the largest single-face clock in the world when it was installed in 1933. Over the years its face has been used to advertise numerous brands, beginning with Coca-Cola.

The Duquesne Brewing Company was a major brewery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from its founding in 1899 until its dissolution in 1972. The brand was revived under the name Duquesne Brewing Company in 2008, in order to re-establish the beer in Western Pennsylvania starting in the summer of 2010.

South Side (or "Southside") is an area in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, located along the Monongahela River across from Downtown Pittsburgh. The business district stretches along East Carson Street, which is home to many small shops, restaurants and bars. In 2006, more than 80 bars and pubs operated in the South Side Flats. Its proximity and public transit connections also have attracted professionals who work downtown. Pittsburgh Fire Station #24 is located on Mary Street in the neighborhood.

The South Side Presbyterian Church is a historic church in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a designated Pittsburgh historic landmark.It was built in 1869–70 by the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, a congregation established in 1851 in what was then the independent borough of Birmingham. In 1873 the name was changed to South Side Presbyterian Church after Birmingham was annexed into the city of Pittsburgh. The original church was built by John T. Natcher and cost $30,000. In 1893, the building was expanded with a new front section including asymmetrical towers and a new main entrance. The rear of the property also includes a community center and gymnasium which were added in 1913.The church is a two-story, brick, Gothic Revival-style building. The original section is six bays deep with Gothic arched windows on the second floor and smaller rectangular windows on the first floor. The 1893 addition added one additional bay to the front of the building which includes a narthex area with a 100-foot (30 m) bell tower on the east side and a shorter 70-foot (21 m) tower on the west side.

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – South Side located at 2205 East Carson Street in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in 1909. It was designed by the architectural firm Alden & Harlow, and it was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1990.

South Side Park is an urban park in Pittsburgh. It is situated in a ravine that divides the South Side Slopes neighborhood, and extends to the location of the former Oliver Ormsby estate in Mount Oliver, Pennsylvania, Ormsby Manor.

The Samuel F. B. Morse School at 2418 Sarah Street in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in 1874. It was named in honor of Samuel Morse, commonly credited as the inventor of the telegraph. Today, it is an apartment building known as "Morse Gardens". The school originally served an area of German, Scotch-Irish, and Welsh immigrants, who floated a $66,000 bond issue in order to build the school. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 30, 1986.

Fort Laughlin was a Civil War redoubt, built in 1863 for the defense of Pittsburgh by the employees of Jones and Laughlin Iron Works, and named for James H. Laughlin. It was also known as Fort McKinley or Fort Ormsby. It was a circular earthwork on Ormsby's Hill, now part of Arlington Park on Arlington Avenue.

The Birmingham Public School in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a building from 1871. In 1944 it was sold to the Catholic Church and served as the middle school for St. Adalbert's Parish. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is currently an apartment building.

The Keeling Coal Company (1861-1878) was a 19th-century coal mining company in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Its mines were located in the Pittsburgh Coalfield of western Pennsylvania.

The Pittsburgh Mercantile Company Building in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, was built in 1907 to 1908 and functioned as the company store for the nearby Jones and Laughlin Steel Company. It is currently used as an apartment building. The structure was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
