Located on the Duquesne Brewing Company building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Duquesne Brewery Clock was the largest single-face clock in the world when it was installed in 1933. Over the years its face has been used to advertise numerous brands, beginning with Coca-Cola.

The Duquesne Brewing Company was a major brewery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from its founding in 1899 until its dissolution in 1972. The brand was revived under the name Duquesne Brewing Company in 2008, in order to re-establish the beer in Western Pennsylvania starting in the summer of 2010.

The Brew House Association is an artist collective established in 1991 in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is located at Mary and 21st Streets in a multi-story building that once housed the Duquesne Brewing Company. The lower floors of the building have been converted to gallery and theater space, including SPACE 101, an alternative exhibit gallery founded by the Brew House Association in 1994, while the upper floors have become studio and living areas for resident artists, and shared workshops for welding and pottery. The Brew House and the abandoned industrial lots around it have been the site of performance art, theatre and sculpture exhibits. They formerly rented studio space and hosted a residency program for visual artists before issues with building code violations forced them to temporarily close their doors in 2009.

The South Side Presbyterian Church is a historic church in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a designated Pittsburgh historic landmark.It was built in 1869–70 by the First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, a congregation established in 1851 in what was then the independent borough of Birmingham. In 1873 the name was changed to South Side Presbyterian Church after Birmingham was annexed into the city of Pittsburgh. The original church was built by John T. Natcher and cost $30,000. In 1893, the building was expanded with a new front section including asymmetrical towers and a new main entrance. The rear of the property also includes a community center and gymnasium which were added in 1913.The church is a two-story, brick, Gothic Revival-style building. The original section is six bays deep with Gothic arched windows on the second floor and smaller rectangular windows on the first floor. The 1893 addition added one additional bay to the front of the building which includes a narthex area with a 100-foot (30 m) bell tower on the east side and a shorter 70-foot (21 m) tower on the west side.

UPMC Outpatient Center is a 209,000-square-foot (19,400 m2) outpatient facility that provides, among other services, Orthopaedic services, primary care services, and physicians offices to the residents of Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood. UPMC Outpatient Center operates according to the directives established by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and will not provide or permit medical procedures that are contrary to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.

The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – South Side located at 2205 East Carson Street in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in 1909. It was designed by the architectural firm Alden & Harlow, and it was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 1990.

The Samuel F. B. Morse School at 2418 Sarah Street in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built in 1874. It was named in honor of Samuel Morse, commonly credited as the inventor of the telegraph. Today, it is an apartment building known as "Morse Gardens". The school originally served an area of German, Scotch-Irish, and Welsh immigrants, who floated a $66,000 bond issue in order to build the school. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 30, 1986.

South Side Park is an urban park in Pittsburgh. It is situated in a ravine that divides the South Side Slopes neighborhood, and extends to the location of the former Oliver Ormsby estate in Mount Oliver, Pennsylvania, Ormsby Manor.

The Brady Street Bridge, also known as the South 22nd Street Bridge, was a steel bowstring arch bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which crossed over the Monongahela River at South 22nd Street. Its main span was a tied arch with a suspended road deck, with two through-truss side spans, carrying two traffic lanes between Brady Street on the Pittsburgh side and South 22nd Street on the south side. Approach viaducts were built at either end. The bridge was built by the Schultz Bridge and Iron Company.The Brady Street Bridge closed on May 3, 1976, but the new Birmingham Bridge was still being constructed and would not be open for another 14 months. Over two years later on May 29, 1978, the old bridge span was blasted into the Monongahela River. During the cleanup process that followed, railings from its remains were rescued by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation and utilized in the construction of the Station Square station.

The Birmingham Bridge (known during construction as the Brady Street Bridge) is a bowstring arch bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which crosses over the Monongahela River. The bridge connects East Carson Street on the South Side with Fifth and Forbes Avenues going to Uptown, Oakland, and the Hill District. It is named in honor of the English city of Birmingham and also for the neighborhood it connects to, which was once called Birmingham, now a part of the South Side. Many locals also may refer to it with its unofficial name, the 22nd Street bridge.

The Pittsburgh Mercantile Company Building in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, was built in 1907 to 1908 and functioned as the company store for the nearby Jones and Laughlin Steel Company. It is currently used as an apartment building. The structure was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

The Birmingham Public School in the South Side Flats neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a building from 1871. In 1944 it was sold to the Catholic Church and served as the middle school for St. Adalbert's Parish. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It is currently an apartment building.
