Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency (MDHA) (1972) is a government agency in Nashville, Tennessee. The original agency was formed in 1938 and it was called the Nashville Housing Authority (NHA). The goal of the MDHA is to provide affordable housing for low income families. The agency also provides business and personal training to residents of low income housing.

Edgefield Historic District is a historic neighborhood in East Nashville, Tennessee. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Davidson County, Tennessee (NRHP) in 1977.

The Silliman Evans Sr. Memorial Bridges, most commonly referred to as the Silliman Evans Bridge, are a set of steel plate girder bridges which carry Interstate 24 across the Cumberland River in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Until 2000, the bridges also carried Interstate 65. The bridges actually consists of two separate spans, which diverge into four separate spans at their southern end.

St. Ann's Episcopal Church is a historic church at 419 Woodland Street in Nashville, Tennessee. It was originally built in 1882 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The historic sanctuary was destroyed by a tornado in April, 1998. The church was rebuilt on the same location later that year.

First Baptist Church East Nashville is a historic church at 601 Main Street in Nashville, Tennessee. The Classical Revival building was constructed in 1928 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

New Nissan Stadium is an American football stadium to be built in Nashville, Tennessee for use by the Tennessee Titans, succeeding the current Nissan Stadium beginning in 2027.The 60,000-seat stadium is projected to cost $2.1 billion, $1.26 billion of which is subsidized by the public. It is by far the largest stadium subsidy in U.S. history.It is to be built adjacent to Nissan Stadium, which will be demolished following the completion of the new stadium. The stadium will be designed by Manica Architecture who previously designed Allegiant Stadium, NRG Stadium and Wembley Stadium.

Thrillopolis was a planned amusement park that was to have been built by Themeparks LLC in the early 2000s. The park was announced in 2002, and was projected to open in 2005. Thrillopolis was originally planned to be located at an 82-acre site near Adelphia Coliseum, but after conflicts with the local government, Themeparks LLC planned to build the park in Wilson County. The project was scrapped around 2004–05.

The Tennessee Central Railway Museum (TCRM, reporting mark TCRX) is a railroad museum located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a small non-profit facility which is preserving the heritage of rail transport in Tennessee and the central South. The museum's name honors the former Tennessee Central Railway. The museum maintains a collection of historic rolling stock which it restores and uses for rail excursions in the area, both for fundraising and educational purposes. It runs an all-volunteer heritage railroad dedicated to preserving, restoring, interpreting, and operating historic railroad equipment. TCRM currently has nine diesel-electric locomotives and thirty other cars/engines. Inside the freight depot where the museum is located, there are railroad artifacts and memorabilia, a gift shop, and a large room where model train layouts in HO and N scale are displayed.

East Nashville Magnet High School (formerly East Literature Magnet School and commonly referred to as just East) is a public magnet high school located in Nashville, Tennessee. Students were once enrolled through a lottery process, but the school now has open enrollment. In August 2016, the middle school students were relocated two miles away to what used to be Bailey STEM Magnet School before its closure. However, in August 2019, the middle school students returned to the junior high building.

Lipstick Lounge, also known as The Lip, is a bar in East Nashville, Tennessee in the United States, co-owned by Christa Suppan and Jonda Valentine. While it is lesbian-owned, it calls itself a bar for humans and is welcoming to anyone. It opened in a 125-year-old building on Woodland Street in September 2002, which Suppan bought in 2003. It is one of fewer than twenty remaining lesbian bars in the United States.
