Wardsboro is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The population was 869 at the 2020 census. The town includes the villages of Wardsboro, Wardsboro Center, West Wardsboro and South Wardsboro.

Wardsboro is the primary village and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Wardsboro, Windham County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 70, compared to 869 in the entire town. The CDP is in west-central Windham County on the eastern side of the Green Mountains, in the northern part of the town of Wardsboro. It sits in the valley of Wardsboro Brook, a northeast-flowing tributary of the West River and part of the Connecticut River watershed. Vermont Route 100 passes through the village, leading northeast 4.5 miles (7.2 km) to Vermont Route 30 in East Jamaica and south 18 miles (29 km) to Vermont Route 9 in Wilmington.

The Windham–Bennington–Windsor-1 Representative District is a one-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one- or two-member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Windham–Bennington–Windsor-1 District includes all of the Windham County towns of Jamaica, Londonderry, and Stratton, the Bennington County town of Winhall, and the Windsor County town of Weston. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The one member Windham–Bennington–Windsor-1 District had a population of 4,123 in that same census, 1.58% above the state average.

The Stratton Mountain School is a college preparatory high school located at Stratton Mountain in Stratton, Vermont. The school was founded in 1972 by Warren Hellman and Donald Tarinelli. The current headmaster is Carson Thurber. Stratton Mountain School trains winter athletes with a focus on alpine skiing (including freeski and freestyle), snowboarding, and Nordic skiing. The school has produced 46 Olympic athletes who have won six medals (3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze). Ross Powers ('97) won a bronze medal (snowboarding halfpipe) at the 1998 winter games held in Nagano, Japan, and a gold medal at the 2002 games held in Salt Lake City, Utah. Powers currently serves Director of the Snowboard program.Other Olympic medalist alumni include Lindsey Jacobellis ('03), who won a silver medal in snowboard cross in Torino, Italy in 2006 and two gold medals in Beijing in 2022. Kristen Luckenbill ('97), won a gold medal in soccer at the 2004 Summer Games in Athens, Greece.

Stratton Mountain is a mountain located in Windham County, Vermont, in the Green Mountain National Forest. The mountain is the highest point of Windham County, and of the southern Green Mountains generally. A fire tower located on the summit is generally open for climbing by the public. There is also a small caretaker cabin (not open to the public) at the summit that is inhabited in season by a caretaker from the Green Mountain Club. The northern end of the mountain is occupied by Stratton Mountain Resort.

West Dover is a village in the central part of Dover, Vermont. The village center, located on Vermont Route 100 at Cross Town and Valley View Roads, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 as the West Dover Historic District. The Corse-Shippee House is a historic house at 11 Dorr Fitch Road in West Dover, Vermont. Built in 1860, it is one of the village's finest examples of high-style Greek Revival architecture, and is sited on one of the few town farmsteads that has not been subdivided. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008; it was previously listed as a contributing property to the West Dover Village Historic District.

Mount Snow (previously known as Mount Pisgah) is a mountain and ski resort in southern Vermont located in the Green Mountains. It is Vermont's southernmost big mountain, and therefore, closest to many Northeast metropolitan areas. In September 2019, Mount Snow joined Vail Resorts' portfolio of 37 resorts and its Epic Pass, along with all other 16 resorts owned by Peak ResortsMount Snow is home to Carinthia Parks, which debuted in the 2008–2009 season. Carinthia is home to ten terrain parks, with both natural and man-made features and a superpipe. Mount Snow was co-host of the first Extreme Games in 1995 and host of the X Games in 2000 and 2001. Carinthia at Mount Snow claimed home to the second stop of the first annual winter Dew Tour as well as many other events including the Freeski Open and Carinthia Classic. In the summer of 2011, Mount Snow installed a brand new Leitner-Poma high-speed detachable six-pack bubble chair. This lift transports skiers to the top of the mountain in seven minutes. The bubble shields skiers and riders from wind and snow and keeps them warm. If it is a warm skiing day riders can choose to leave the bubble up. As of 2022, Mount Snow has two high-speed detachable lifts from the base to the 3600-foot summit and a total of six high-speed detachable chairlifts, one leaving from the Carinthia Base Area, one leaving from the Sunbrook base area and four leaving from the Main Base Area.

Dover Town Hall is located in the village center of Dover, Vermont, at the junction of Holland and Taft Brook Roads. Built in 1828, it is a well-preserved example of a transitional Federal-Gothic Revival church building, converted to government use in 1875. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
