Munich-Allach station is a railway station in the Allach-Untermenzing borough of Munich, Germany. It is on the Munich - Ingolstadt route, and the first train was seen here in 1867. It is connected to the locomotive factory in the East, formerly Kraus-Maffei, now Siemens Mobility production. The station is served by the Munich S-Bahn's S2 line. The line connects Allach to Munich Eastern Station (München Ost), ending in Altomünster or Petershausen in the Northwest, or Erding in North-East.

Allach porcelain (pronounced 'alak') a.k.a. Porzellan Manufaktur Allach was produced in Germany between 1935 and 1945. After its first year of operation, the enterprise was run by the SS with forced labor provided by the Dachau concentration camp. The emphasis was on decorative ceramics —objets d'art for the Nazi regime. The company logo included stylized SS runes. Sometimes in place of the company name, the pottery markings mentioned the SS: "DES - WIRTSCHAFTS - VERWALTUNGSHAUPTAMTES".

The International Youth Library (IYL) (Internationale Jugendbibliothek, IJB) in Munich is a library that specializes in the collection of children and youth literature from around the world in order to make them available to the public, focusing on the international community. This library is the largest of its kind worldwide, and has been operating since June 1983, in Blutenburg Castle in the Munich district Obermenzing, before this time the library was located in Schwabing.

It has over 20 million zoological specimens. It is one of the largest natural history collections in the world. The sections are Entomology, Invertebrates and Vertebrates. The Pasing Arcaden is a shopping mall located in Munich's district of Pasing. The first section of the Pasing Arcaden was opened on the 15 of March 2011. It is located near the Pasing train station, in the west of Munich.The main entrance at the Pasing train station square opens up to the 270 meter long first section of the shopping area. This portion of the complex has a total area of 26,000 m2 and offers 14,000 m2 of space for 90 shops and boutiques. On 18 February 2013, the second section of Pasing Arcaden with an additional 50 shops and 11 catering establishments covering an area of 37,000 m2 was opened. Giovanni Trapattoni was the star guest at the opening.The total area of the Pasing Arcaden covers 63,000 m2, in which the total commercial area covers 39,000 m2. Making the Pasing Arcaden the fourth major shopping mall in Munich, after the Einkaufs-Center Neuperlach – pep, the Olympia-Einkaufszentrum, and the Riem Arcaden. The building was designed by the Munich architecture office of Allmann Sattler Wappner. The floor plan was designed similar to that of a cruise ship. The façade was designed with diamonds made of metal. The side of the building, adjacent to the railway tracks from Pasing to München Hauptbahnhof, is slightly curved, and the building height is more than 20 meters. The opposite longitudinal side of the building is approximately 10 meters high. The reason for this being the 45 three-to-five room apartments that were built in diagonal blocks on the roof of the Pasing Arcaden. Between the apartment blocks are large terraces that are available to the tenants. Additional commercial area has been planned.The walkways inside the shopping area do not run straight, but intertwine throughout the building. The shop facades are designed by the tenants themselves. Under the complex is a two-story underground parking area with 660 parking spaces.The management behind the Pasing Arcaden is the same as that for the Riem Arcaden, mfi Management für Immobilien AG, Essen. The first phase of construction costed a total of €190 million. The project schedule was delayed as a lawsuit with a neighbor interrupted construction works between 2008 and 2009.

The Munich tramway (German: Straßenbahn München) is the tramway network for the city of Munich in Germany. Today it is operated by the municipally owned Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (the Munich Transport Company, or MVG) and is known officially and colloquially as the Tram. Previous operators have included Société Anonyme des Tramways de Munich, the Münchner Trambahn-Aktiengesellschaft, the Städtische Straßenbahnen and the Straßenbahn München. The tram network interconnects with the MVG's bus network, the Munich U-Bahn and the Munich S-Bahn, all of which use a common tariff as part of the Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (Munich Transport and Tariff Association, or MVV) transit area. As of 2012, the daytime tram network comprises 13 lines and is 79 kilometres (49 mi) long with 165 stops. There is also a night tram service with four routes. The network is operated by 106 trams (as of 2012), and transported 98 million people in 2010 and 104 million people in 2012.

The Pasing Viktualienmarkt is a daily food market in Pasing, a district of Munich. Situated next to the Pasing Town Hall, in a beautiful courtyard, the Pasing Viktualienmarkt offers everything you could wish for: bread and cheese, fish and meat, flowers and herbs. For almost a century the market has supplied the people of Pasing, who at that time were not citizens of Munich (that is why there are two markets called "Viktualienmarkt" in Munich), with fresh groceries in best quality.
