KDCO (1340 kHz) is a noncommercial AM radio station licensed to Denver, Colorado. The station is owned by El Sembrador Ministries and carries its ESNE Radio network, featuring Spanish-language Catholic radio programming.

KLDC (1220 kHz) is an AM radio station licensed to Denver, Colorado. The station is currently owned by Crawford Broadcasting Company, DBA KLZ Radio, Inc. KLDC, along with sister station 670 KLTT, broadcasts a Christian talk and teaching radio format. While KLTT carries mostly national religious leaders, KLDC is home for numerous local preachers and ministries. Two exceptions are David Jeremiah and Charles Stanley, both heard on KLDC. AM 1220 is a Mexican clear channel frequency; because of this, KLDC broadcasts at a low power at night of only 11 watts to prevent interference with other stations. Daytime power is also fairly low, at 660 watts. By contrast, KOA in Denver runs at 50,000 watts around the clock.

Ruby Hill Rail Yard is a ski and snowboard terrain park located in Denver, Colorado at the intersection of Platte River Drive and Jewell Avenue, in Ruby Hill Park near downtown Denver. Ruby Hill Rail Yard is made possible by Winter Park Resort, Denver Parks and Recreation, Christy Sports, TechnoAlpin, Denver Water, Choose Outdoors, The North Face, Wahoo's Fish Tacos, Snowboard Outreach Society (SOS), and over 30 volunteers.

Grant-Frontier Park is a park at Evans Ave. on the east bank of the South Platte River in southwest Denver, Colorado. It is the site of the Montana City settlement. The park was named in honor of Grant Junior High School (now Grant Middle School) whose teachers and students were responsible for discovering the site, cleaning and restoring it, and researching the history of Montana City. The park features reconstructed and historical artifacts from the original 1858 settlement, the first in the Denver area. There is a log cabin with a sod roof, a conestoga wagon and some placer mining devices, like a sluice and rocker box. Grant Frontier Park Vision

Montana City was the first settlement in what was later to become Denver, Colorado. It was established during the Pikes Peak Gold Rush on the east bank of the South Platte River, just north of the confluence with Little Dry Creek, in 1858. At the time, the site was in the Kansas Territory. The site selected because it was adjacent to placer gold diggings along the South Platte River. However, the gold diggings at Montana City proved disappointing, and the site was soon abandoned in favor of the settlement of Auraria, a few miles downstream. The Montana City site is now Grant-Frontier Park and includes mining equipment and a log cabin replica.

Evans station is an island platformed RTD light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the C and D Lines, the station was opened on July 14, 2000, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. It is the northernmost station served exclusively by the C and D Lines. Evans features a public art installation entitled People Hereabouts, created by Jack Unruh and dedicated in 2000.

Humanex Academy is a private, alternative middle and high school in Englewood, Denver Colorado, United States, for students who have learning disabilities and emotional and behavior disorders. Humanex's three main teaching methods are an individualized academic curriculum which accommodates each student's current abilities, extensive counseling support, and behavior management. Humanex works with students who have learning disabilities, such as ADD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, etc.Serving students in grades 6–12, Humanex Academy had 56 students in the 2007-2008 school year.

Athmar Park is a residential neighborhood in southwest Denver, Colorado. It consists mostly of all-brick ranches and bungalow-style homes built in the 1940s and 1950s.

Abraham Lincoln High School is a public high school, founded in 1959, in Denver, Colorado, United States, and is named after former President Abraham Lincoln. The school's colors are blue and grey, representing the colors worn by the soldiers during the US Civil War; blue represents the North, and grey represents the South. The original shade used in the school's colors was royal blue, distinguishing it from Manual High School's Carolina blue & John F. Kennedy's navy blue in the Denver Public School District. The blue was transitioned from royal to navy beginning in the late 1990s. Some instances can be seen where silver replaces grey. The school's mascot is a Lancer, which is a jousting knight holding a pole arm/lance. Abraham Lincoln High School's traditional rival high school is John F. Kennedy High School, although rivalries have also existed with West High School and North High School. Both Abraham Lincoln High School and John F. Kennedy High School have nearly exact original architecture. ALHS currently has 1,400 students, four administrators, and 100 teachers. As of 2019, the principal is Antonio Esquibel, who returned to the job after his initial tenure from 2006-2011. Abraham Lincoln High School is located in the Harvey Park neighborhood on the southwest side of Denver.

The Pike's Peak Gold Rush (later known as the Colorado Gold Rush) was the boom in gold prospecting and mining in the Pike's Peak Country of western Kansas Territory and southwestern Nebraska Territory of the United States that began in July 1858 and lasted until roughly the creation of the Colorado Territory on February 28, 1861. An estimated 100,000 gold seekers took part in one of the greatest gold rushes in North American history.The participants in the gold rush were known as "Fifty-Niners" after 1859, the peak year of the rush and often used the motto Pike's Peak or Bust! In fact, the location of the Pike's Peak Gold Rush was centered 85 miles (137 km) north of Pike's Peak. The name Pike's Peak Gold Rush was used mainly because of how well known and important Pike's Peak was at the time.

Little Dry Creek is a short tributary of the South Platte River, approximately 10 miles (16 km) long, in Arapahoe County, Colorado in the United States. The creek drains a suburban area south of Denver. It rises in Centennial, Arapahoe County, west of I-25, and flows generally northwest into Englewood. It has historically been used for irrigation and feeds an aqueduct that runs parallel to it. The creek flows into South Platte just south of West Dartmouth Avenue approximately two tenths of a mile west of its intersection with Santa Fe Drive which is US 85. The Little Dry Creek Trail intersects the Highline Canal Trail in Cherry Hills Village. The mouth of the creek is noted as the location of the first significant gold discovery in present-day Colorado. In the first week of July 1858, Green Russell and his brothers discovered a gold pocket that yielded several hundred dollars' worth of gold. The discovery set off the Colorado Gold Rush in the following year.

I-25 & Broadway station is a three-platform RTD light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. Operating as part of the C, D, E, F and H Lines, the station was opened on October 8, 1994, and is operated by the Regional Transportation District. As the name implies, the station is located at the interchange between Interstate 25 and Broadway in south-central Denver. It is the major transfer point for commuters traveling from Littleton and Englewood on the Southwest Line to the Denver Technological Center on the Southeast Lines.When the system was first opened in 1994, I-25 & Broadway was the southern terminus for the Central Line, at that time built in the lone corridor in the system. Since then, three new corridors have been constructed. I-25 & Broadway Station is becoming a focal point of a new transit-oriented development on the site of the old Gates Rubber Company factory, just south, east and west of the station.
