Marmora is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southwest of Turin and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) west of Cuneo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 97 and an area of 41.2 square kilometres (15.9 sq mi). The municipality of Marmora contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Tolosano, Torello, Garino, Urzio, Arvaglia, Arata, Reinero, Finello, S. Sebastiano, and Vernetti. Marmora borders the following municipalities: Canosio, Castelmagno, Celle di Macra, Demonte, Macra, Prazzo, Sambuco, and Stroppo.

The churches of San Giovanni has a 1496 polyptych by the Flemish master Hans Clemer, who worked in the court of the Marquis of Saluzzo.

Castelmagno (Occitan: Chastèlmanh) is a small comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southwest of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Cuneo. The population of the municipality of Castelmagno is divided between the frazioni (hamlets) of Einaudi, Campomolino (seat of the city hall), Colletto, Nerone, Chiotti and Chiappi; "Castelmagno" is the name of the municipal entity, not corresponding to any hamlet. The main attraction is the sanctuary of San Magno, at an elevation of 1,761 metres (5,778 ft) above sea level. Castelmagno borders the following municipalities: Celle di Macra, Demonte, Dronero, Marmora, Monterosso Grana, Pradleves, and San Damiano Macra.

Stroppo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southwest of Turin and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Cuneo. Stroppo borders the following municipalities: Elva, Macra, Marmora, Prazzo and Sampeyre.

Lottulo (Italian: [ˈlɔttulo]; Occitan: Lòtol) is a former municipality in Province of Cuneo, northwestern Italy. On 22 January 1929, it was merged into San Damiano Macra.

Elva borders the following municipalities: Bellino, Casteldelfino, Prazzo, Sampeyre, and Stroppo. The Pelvo d'Elva mountain is located in the communal territory. Flemish painter Hans Clemer was active here: some of his works can be seen in the late-Romanesque parish church.

San Damiano Macra borders the following municipalities: Cartignano, Castelmagno, Celle di Macra, Dronero, Frassino, Macra, Melle, Roccabruna, and Sampeyre.

Colle di Sampeyre is a mountain pass in the province of Cuneo in the Cottian Alps. It connects the Varaita valley and the Maira valley. The Colle di Sampeyre can be climbed from Stroppo, Sampeyre and Elva. It has been featured in the Giro d'Italia twice, in 1995 and 2003.

Cartignano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cuneo in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southwest of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Cuneo. Cartignano borders the following municipalities: Dronero, Melle, Roccabruna, and San Damiano Macra.
