Seckbach is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Ost.

Riederwaldstadion is a stadium in Seckbach district of Frankfurt am Main in Germany. It was home pitch for Eintracht Frankfurt U23 until 2008, when Eintracht Frankfurt U23 moved.The stadium was destroyed during World War II in 1943 and was rebuilt in 1952.

The PSD Bank Arena (formerly known as Stadion am Bornheimer Hang) is a multi-use stadium in Bornheim, a district of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and is best accessed by the Johanna-Tesch-Platz U-Bahn station, or (for away fans) the Eissporthalle/Festplatz station. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FSV Frankfurt and occasionally used to host 1. FFC Frankfurt (now Eintracht Frankfurt). It has a capacity of 12.542. The inaugurational game was played on 11 October 1931, when FSV Frankfurt defeated VfL Germania 1894, 3–0.Since 2015 the stadium is also used by the Frankfurt Universe, an American football team playing in the German Football League.The stadium was host to the Kosovo national football team's first fully recognised international; a 2–0 win over the Faroe Islands on 3 June 2016.Beginning with the inaugural season of the new European League of Football, the Frankfurt Galaxy played all their home games at the stadium.

The Holy Cross Church (German: Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche) is a Catholic church in the Bornheim district of Frankfurt am Main (Germany). It is similar in design to the Frauenfriedenskirche (Church of Our Lady of Peace) in Frankfurt-Bockenheim. It was built by Martin Weber from 1928 to 1929, on a rise then known as Bornheimer Hang. The church is an unusual example of interwar modernism as sacred Bauhaus architecture. The church was finally completed on 25 August 1929 and handed to the Catholic congregation of Bornheim. It was damaged in the Second World War, and afterwards rebuilt with money donated for this purpose. It is a branch church of the parish of St. Josef and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limburg. The diocese dedicated it from 1 August 2007 as the location of a Holy Cross - Centre for Christian Meditation and Spirituality. The centre was directed from August 2007 until July 2018 by the Franciscan Helmut Schlegel OFM, who worked there until June 2019 as a retreat and meditation leader and priestly co-worker. Since November 2018 the centre is directed by the theologian Samuel Stricker, who works with a team of contributors, for example from the order of Medical Mission Sisters.Since the beginning of the restoration of the interior of St. Leonhard in Frankfurt-Altstadt, the services of the local St. Leonhard's International English-Speaking Catholic Parish have been held in the Holy Cross Church since 7 May 2011. This remains the home of the Holy Cross Church even after the end of the work in St. Leonhard.

The Holy Cross - Centre for Christian Meditation and Spirituality (German: Heilig Kreuz - Zentrum für christliche Meditation und Spiritualität) is an institution of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limburg, Germany. It is based at the Holy Cross Church in Frankfurt-Bornheim and is dedicated to services, contemplation, meditation, retreats, counseling, and other events such as concerts.

Eissporthalle Frankfurt or Eissporthalle am Ratsweg is an arena in the Bornheim district of Frankfurt, Germany. It is used for ice hockey and is the home arena of Löwen Frankfurt. It is also used as an ice skating rink.It has opened on December 19, 1981 and holds 6,946 people.

Bornheim is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Bornheim/Ostend. In the past, Bornheim was called Das lustige Dorf ("The merry village"), because it was the red-light district of Frankfurt up to some 120 years ago. It still retains some of its lively charm and is said to be the younger crowd's hangout, shared with Sachsenhausen. The main street of Bornheim is Berger Straße, a cosmopolitan boulevard with many bars, pubs and restaurants and two of Frankfurt's most traditional cider houses, Solzer and Zur Sonne. The Holy Cross Church with the Holy Cross - Centre for Christian Meditation and Spirituality of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limburg, known for its modernist architecture, is located in Bornheim. Two underground lines (U4 and U7) run through Bornheim.

Riederwald is a quarter of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is part of the Ortsbezirk Ost. Riederwald is one of the smallest districts in Frankfurt. Created at the beginning of the last century in three sections as a residential development for the workers employed at the east harbor, the district still features the many different building styles: from flat roofed homes to two-story twin houses with mansard roofs. In the south of the district lies the 33 hectare large Riederwald with its adventure playground and Riederbruch wetland.

Heiligenstock Transmitter, also known as the Heiligenstock Radio Tower, was a wooden German lattice transmitter that was used for mediumwave broadcasting. The tower was built in the year 1934 but was dismantled four years later because of its bad state. The tower was then rebuilt the same year it was dismantled in the city of Frankfurt. The newly rebuilt radio tower was then demolished on March 25, 1945 during the Second World War by the retreating German troops using explosives. It was 107 metres tall.

Heilig Geist (Holy Spirit) is the name of a Catholic church in the suburb Riederwald of Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany. The parish church of the Riederwald congregation is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limburg. On 1 January 2015 the parish became a Kirchort (church location), part of the parish St. Josef, Frankfurt.

The Historic Railway, Frankfurt (Historische Eisenbahn Frankfurt) or HEF is a German museum railway in Frankfurt am Main. The society was founded in 1978 and its aim is the preservation of historic, valuable railway materiel in working order, especially steam locomotives, as technical and cultural monuments. Since 1979 there has been a regular museum service several weekends a year on the tracks of the Frankfurt Harbour Railway (Frankfurter Hafenbahn) between the halts of Mainkur, Eiserner Steg and Frankfurt-Griesheim. Since 1981 the society has organised the Königstein railway festival (Bahnhofsfest Königstein) every year at Whitsun, when the Königsteiner Bahn between Frankfurt-Höchst and Königstein im Taunus is operated. In addition vehicles of the Historic Railway, Frankfurt are used in special services throughout Germany.
